Maybe a trip to the second page of her thread, or the dedication of my 4400th post will attract further posts here for lovely Misako....

a 2009 film, いけちゃんとぼく/ Ike-chan to Boku English title: Good Bye, My Secret Friend saw Misako in a supporting role.

Starring child actor Arashi Fuksawa as a boy with a friend (who only he can see) named Ike-chan (voice by Yu Aoi) - well reviewed film that has a serious look at life, and how it effects a child. I believe Misako plays a girl that represents first love, but will have to find and watch this film to find out more.....

Here is a clip from Q10, which starred Sato Takeru and Atsuko Maeda as a robot. Misako plays Tamiko Yamamoto and Sosuke Ikematsu plays Takehiko Kubo....... (Yoshino san posted some still photos of Misako in this role on page one of this thread)

wait Takehiko is in the hosptial......teenager in hospital in Japanese drama....usually means...........

^^ Won't spoil that scene but they did make for a good couple in the drama and an unexpected couple at that too.

Kinda late but just by accident stumbled across some pics from the River premiere. Misako is also doing a good job in Zenkai Girl, just finished episode 9 and are those 2 who are walking off hand in hand going to be a couple? My $$ says no.

Wow, so she already had a lead role in the movie River. Just as I'm hoping for her to be given a lead role.

This was a surprise finding something like this, Misako doing an interview for CUEAFS, an Asian film society based out of Coventry UK, interview was fairly interesting, River played over in Europe so I guess Misako went there, plus had never heard of this site but looks like an interesting one for Asian films..... http://cueafs.com/?p=3432

Some info from Oricon on Misako's next drama:

Dragon Seinendan revolves around three suburban young men who find out that they are the descendants of the ‘Soldiers of Light’ from a scroll they find in a bookstore, making for a modern fantasy drama. The script was written by Ueda Makoto of Europe Kikaku, who created the scripts for the movie “Summertime Machine Blues” as well as the drama “Kazoku Hakkei“. Director Miki Takahiro of “Solanin” and “Bokura ga Ita” will be tackling his first serial drama with “Dragon Seinendan” alongside director Matsui Daigo and scriptwriter Ueda Makoto for a three-man directing team.
Renbutsu Misako will be starring as the heroine Yoko, Dragon Seinendan will start broadcasting on TBS beginning on July 17 at 00:55 AM every Wednesday and on MBS on July 19 every Friday at 00:55 AM.

She will be appearing in the new Takuya Kimura fall drama 'Priceless', along with Kiichi Nakai and Karina.

Here is a clip from the film -Mikako Tabe and Haruma Miura had the lead roles, with Misako cast in a strong support role. Look also for Mirei Kiritani and Natsuna Watanabe.
