lol.... I do that whenever I reach a certain post amount, like my 995-1001 post I had before. Now it's 1495-1500 post. When I get to 1995-2000 post I will do the same thing!

Share works pretty well. a lot of hits for Hello!Project related things. but my download speed moves like a snail. I probably set something up wrong.. just started using it.

The only thing I really need to tell you about winny and share is, be prepared with either plenty of harddrive space and/or blank cds/dvds (and in the case of some ISO's, double layer dvds).

I find that winny still has alot more H!P files than share, though share is probably better with ISO's as they're usually not broken into different rar's as it usually is with winny. Speeds on share also tend to be alot faster than winny.

winny and share isn't really an either-or game. if you're ready to get into one, you really ought to be getting into both in order to maximize the effectiveness of what each is good for.

streak is right about higher dvdiso availability on share. winny generally has more 0day releases (like perfs and tv appearances), and also HD .ts files. people across the forum have had mixed results as far as speeds go. i for one get better speeds and results on winny than on share: in the end you really just have to try both.

for the most part however, anything someone sources from share or winny gets seeded/shared here at the forum!

and as with any other P2P, peerguardian for precaution, and common sense for downloading :p
