Chapter 3 : One Day in My Life


Kojima Haruna's POV : Heart Failure?!

I was walking on the school yard when someone suddenly appeared in front of my eyes. A male student which I haven't seen his face before.  He panted heavily. It was seem like he just running. He walk closer into my direction. He keep walk  to me until our distance was only about 2 meters. Then he stare at me from head until toe.

"Who are you? Why..Why are you looking at me like that?" somehow the way he gazed at me made me feel uncomfortable

He kept silent. Okay, I know i'm beautiful. I know i have good body. Many boys can't take their eyes off of me. But, this is the first time, i see a boy who look at me like the boy in front of me doing.

"would..you..be..my..model?" he asked while still panting

"HUH?!"

"Please be my model." He repeated

It's the first time we meet and he ask me to be his model. This boy must be kidding.

"Hello mister-whose-name-i-don't-know, I think you talk to wrong person."

"No. I am talking to you, Kojima Haruna-san"

what? he knows my name?!

"I need your help. I want you to wear clothes that i've designed. Don't worry, you'll get some money."

"sorry to say, but save your money for someone else. I'm sure my family is richer than yours. Getting money is not a big deal for me."

"No..You must be misunderstand. That's what I mean."

Oh, God. He started to pissing me off

"I just want.."

"I'm sorry, but i don't have much time to talk about this nonsense. I must go back to my class. Please get off of my way"

I walk ahead. Passing him. But suddenly, i feel a hand grab my right wrist from behind. I looked behind just to see him  hold my wrist.

"Let me go!"

I tried to release my wrist from his grab. But, instead of releasing from him, he pull my hand which also pull my body close to him and that made or distance was just few centimeters.

He still hold my wrist while saying "My name is Oshima Yuu. 17 years old. I'm new student here from class 2-K. I've made some designs and they will released to public."

He keep starring at my eyes while saying those things. From close distance, I can see his face clearly. His stylist hair, white skin, bright eyes, cute face,and soft-looking lips.Oh no, Why i suddenly feels my body heat up..

"And I'm sure by wearing clothes that i made will make you become the most beautiful girl in this world" He's smiling and that makes his dimples showed.

YABAI! why me heart beat so fast. No! This is no right. There's must be something wrong with my body.

"I..I..I.."

shit! why i am statter! oh, i can smell his scent..his perfume..He smells so good. THIS IS BAD! My heart beats faster and faster. Am I get heart failure? NO WAY! I'm too young to have heart failure!

"I..I must go back to my class"

He then released my hand..

"We'll talk again after school over, okay?"

I don't answer him. I immediately run into my class. I'm not a good runner but i swear  this time i run really fast. After, i arrive at my class, i sit on my chair..Still on panting, i put the palm of my right on my chest.  It still beats so fast. I don't know wheather it's because of running or that guy.

"what happend to you, Haruna?" Asked Sashihara Rino who look at me with his face full of wonder

"I think i might get heart attack"

"Hahahaha..you can be joking sometimes, Haruna" He laugh "Do I need to bring you to hospital?"

"SHUT UP!!"

During the class, i can't really concentrate to the lesson. I can't get the face of that guy named Oshima off from my head. Ohh, What's wrong with you, Haruna?

"We'll talk again after school over, okay?"

Suddenly his words come into my mind. Wait! after the school over? that's mean that i will meet him again. Oh no, what should i do? wait a minute, why i must feels afraid of meeting him? he means nothing to me.i just met him today. Okay, ill just say right into his face that i don't want to be model and it will over.YOSH!


*When the school time is over*

I quickly put all my books into my bag and hurry to get off from the class. when i almost reach at the school gate, i see him leaning his back on the school gate's wall. His right hand hold some sheets of paper. I know he is waiting for me. And when he see me, i can see smile appear on his face. He quickly run to me.

Here it comes again! My heart..My heart beats faster again..Id something wrong happen to my heart?!  Should i undergo medical check-up?!

"Here.." he extend his right hand which hold the papers to me "..the designs that i made."

I don't take those paper. I just stand and see him. Seeing his smile makes me frozen.

"Kojima-san? Are you daydreaming?"

"Ahh, sorry..sorry.."

"So, take these design papers.."

"I'm sorry Oshima-san. But i won't accept your offer."

Then he take my right right and put those papers on my hand

"Please take a look at it first. I'll give you some days to think about it"

"But, I.."

I can't complete my sentence because he then turn away and run to the school gate. Before he disappear from my eyesight i see him turn around and shout "See you next time, Kojima-san!"

I look at my right which hold the papers. Suddenly i feel someone tap my shoulder.

"Haruna, want me to drive you home?" Rino ask

"Okay"

"what papers are those?" he look at the Yuu's papers

"Ahh nothing" I quickly put the papers into my bag  "C'mon..I want to go home now."

Kashiwagi Yuki's POV : Novel and DVD

“Here’s the DVD. Thanks.” I hand Akicha a DVD

“You’ve watched it?” she ask

I nod "Akicha,are you sure?" I look into my Akicha's face with hesitancy.

"Of course." she try to convince me


Takajo Aki..That's the name of my bestfriend. We've known each other since elementary school. She's a nice person. I trust her so much that i can tell her everything. Including my secret and..someone that i like. I having a crush on a boy named Matsui Ren. He's on the same year as i am but we are in different class. I like him since 1 year ago. He's not the type of "popular guy". He doesn't talk a lot. He's shy. But, he's so kind and his smile is able to make other people's heart warm. That's why i like him. Really really like him.

"Akicha, i give up. I think your idea is ridiculous. It's sounds like a story from an old cheap romantic movie, you know?"

But, Akicha can be jerk sometimes. Seriously, how can she wants me to do her stupid plan?!

"C'mon, Yuki.."





*flashback*

2 days ago

“Do you know what is this” asked Akicha while she showed me a kind of book

“A Novel?”

“And guess whose novel is this?”
 
I had no idea whose novel was that so I shake my head. Seeing this, Akicha gave me her smirk face.

“It’s Ren’s”

“Ehhhhhh???? How do you get that thing?”

Then Akicha told me everything. I’ve once told her about Ren’s hobby, reading novel. Ren likes to read novels. He often borrow novel from library and sometimes buy in bookstore. He sometimes brought the novel to read a school. Couple of times I’ve seen him reading novel during breaktime in school. Akicha told me that she asked for help to one of her friend who in the same class as Ren to secretly took a novel from Ren’s bag.

“whaaat??!!” I shouted at Akicha “Are you crazy?! No..i mean are your friend crazy??!! How can she help you?”

“I just gave her a CD of Yamapi’s latest single and she would do anything I asked”

So, it’s the power of idol..

“So, what will you do with the novel?”

“You’ll return the novel to Ren”

“ehhhhh???!!!!  No! why should I’ll be the one who return this book. It’s your friend, no, it’s your plan to stole it from Ren!”

“No! I made this plan for you. You’ll return it to Ren. It’s your chance to have your first ever conversation with Ren. Just say to him that he dropped the novel somewhere in the school and you found it. Luckly, he wrote his name on the cover of the novel.”

  “But..” I still tried to refuse Akicha’s plan

“hey, don’t cut when I’m talking. Listen, you will not only return the novel but also will have conversation about this novel. My friend told me it’s Ren’s  favourite novel. It will be nice first impression of you if Ren think that both of you share same liking”

“You mean that I have to read this novel?  No, you know I I don’t like reading. And look at this novel. It has hundreds of pages. Reading this novel will kill me”

“Don’t worry, my beloved friend”

Akicha then took a DVD out from her bag. She said that the novel was adapted into a movie. Akicha bought the DVD of the movie so I can watch it. Then, I don’t have to read the novel. She told that the story between the novel and movie is similar.

Eventually, I accepted Akicha’s plan. She kept persisting with her plan. I know her plan was ridiculous but I thought that I had to make a move. Sometimes I feel just admiring someone from far away is tiring. So, that night I watched the DVD Akicha gave me.

*end of flasback*





“Hey, that’s Ren.” Akicha point  at Ren who’s just sit on the bench near the school garden. “Yuki, it’s your chance. Now or never!”

“Okay”

“Remember, make a good impression. Watch out with your facial expression. Sometimes your face expressions are aggravating.”

“Hey! You don’t have to say that!”

“Now, go to Ren”

Akicha push me

I take a deep breath. I collect all my courage. I walk toward Ren while my right hand is holding Ren’s novel.

“Matsui-san?”  I call at his name.. Oh, it’s unbelieveable!!  I finally talk to him. Oh my God! Oh my God!

Okay..Calm, Yuki. .Just be calm..

“Yes?” he look at me..oh, our eyes meets for the first time.

“I think this is yours” I give him the novel

He look at the novel “Oh, thankyou very much. I thought I’ve already lost it.” He give me his smile. And I swear, his smile is so lovely <3

“You dropped it. I found it near the basketball court” I lie

“Really? Haha. I should be more careful” he rub the back of his head with his hand. He looks so clumsy.

And then silence wrap our atmosphere

“You like that novel?” I try to open conversation. I know Ren is not talk a lot so I think I have to talk more.

“Oh, yes. I really like it”

“Really? Me too.” I even haven’t read a page of that novel

“You’ve read the novel?”

 “Yes. I bought the same novel. I’ve read it many times. It’s one of the most touching novel I’ve ever read in my life” No, I only watched the movie once

“Touching?”

“Yes. The story is so sad. Speaking of which, can I sit there?” I point at part of the bench where Ren sit

“I..I’m sorry I didn’t let you to sit. Douzo” He shift his sit position to give me seat.

“Arigatou gozaimasu”  then I sit next to him. Mother of God!! I can’t believe I sit next to Ren!!  Akicha, I have to admit that your plan works well, at least for now. I love you, Akicha!!

“So, do you think the story is sad?” He ask

“Yes. Some parts of the novel made me cry. Especially the ending. It was tragic.” Yes, I cried a lot when I watched the ending of the movie.

“Tragic?”

“Yeah. The ending where the main female character commited suicide after she knew that her father killed her lover, that’s so tragic. After all the troubles that the couple must deal, I think the author should make an happy ending, right?”

I saw Ren’s face is confused

“So, what Matsui-san think about this novel?” I asked him

“I..think..it..is..so..funny”

“ehhhhh??!!!”  what’s the funny part of the movie??!! “But, I didn’t find any funny part from the movie, NO, I mean from the NOVEL”

“But, it’s a comedy novel”

“Ehhhhh??!!”  comedy?! What comedy?! There must be something wrong!

‘’About the ending, it’s not tragic at all. There’s no love story in this novel. Are you sure we’re talking about the same novel?”

ehhh, what happen here?! Akicha should explain to me later..

 “I’m sorry Matsui-san. I have to go now” I quickly get up and walk away.

“Wait!” I hear he shout. I turn around to see him

“What’s your name?”

He asked my name!!!  should I tell him?! After this embarrassed moment, should I tell him my name?!
I look at Ren. It seems like he’s waiting for my answer. Okay, Yuki. It’s NOW or NEVER! Let Ren know that there’s a girl whose name Kashiwagi Yuki on this earth.

“Kashiwagi. My name is Kashiwagi Yuki.”

“Nice to meet you Kashiwagi-san. And once again, thank you for returning the novel”

I nod

“Yes”

That’s the only word that able come from my mouth. Then I turn around and run as fast as I can. This is so embarassiiiinnggggg!!! Now, Ren must think that I’m a weird girl..

Takajo Aki's POV : The  Ticket!!!!!!!!

“Here’s the DVD. Thanks.” Yuki hand me a DVD

“You’ve watched it?” I ask her

She nod "Akicha,are you sure?" Yuki looks hesitant

"Of course."

"Do you have any better idea, Akicha?"

"Nope" that’s the only idea that came to my mind

"Akicha, i give up. I think your idea is ridiculous. It's sounds like a story from an old cheap romantic movie, you know?"

"C'mon, Yuki.."

“Hey, that’s Ren.” I point  at Ren who’s just sit on the bench near the school garden. “Yuki, it’s your chance. Now or never!”

“Okay”

I look at my bestfriend who walk toward Ren. Yes! Finally Yuki have the courage to make a move.

I look at the DVD which Yuki just gave to me “Thanks for your help, DVD-san. I hope the plan will going smoothly”

Wait a minute! I look carefully at the DVD cover..

NO WAY!!

I gave Yuki the wrong DVD..It’s not the movie which adapted from Ren’s novel!!  Yuki definitely will kill me! Really, when Yuki is mad, she can be really dangerous..

What should I do now?

Not knowing what to do, I hurry run into my class

*in class 2-A*

What should I do? How can I made such a foolish mistake? I’m so sorry, Yuki..

I sit in my class. I’m imagining how mad will Yuki at me

Then a familiar sound startle me “Hey! What’s up, Akicha? Your face looks terrible..Hahahaha”

I hate his laughter

“please, Rino. I don’t want to talk about it”

“Did something happen between you and Yuki?”

How did he know?

“I just meet Yuki, and you know what..she looks mad. Her face looks like she wants to eat someone..hahaha..You should see your bestfriend’s face expression” Rino keep laugh

I gulp..She must be mad at me..

“Ah, but I don’t care about what happen to your friend. All I care about for now is Rabu-tan live show”

I look at Rino. He keep seeing the Rabu-tan live show ticket while smiling to himself..

“Ahh, I wonder what should I wear for the show..”

No one care, Rino.No one care about what will you wear. Geez, in my bad time, why this guy should appear and tell about his idol.

Suddenly, something come to my mind. I get up from my sit and grap the Rabu-tan live show ticket from Rino’s hand

“what?! Hey! What are you doing? Give me the ticket back!!”

“I’m sorry, Rino..I’ll give the ticket back to you, but help me first!”

I make a pitiful face

“No! I don’t want to help you. Give me the ticket. That’s mine!”

He try to grab the ticket in my hand. But my hand moves faster.

“I promise I’ll give the ticket but with one condition. You have to help me..”

“No way!”

“Then, you won’t get you’re your ticket back”

“You little devil..Fine. What should I do?”

Hehe..He finally give up..

“Listen, if Yuki come to this class and look for me”  she definitely will look for me  “tell her that I’m in headmaster’s office. There’s something serious that the headmaster wants to talk about with me. And if she REALLY wants to see me, she have to wait until our meeting is over, maybe at night.”

I hope that will keep Yuki in the school until evening..I'm not ready to meet Yuki for now..

“You want me to tell a lie to Yuki? I mean, she’s your bestfriend”

“I don’t have time to explain..And I don’t want to. Just tell her what I’ve just told you and you will get your ticket back tomorrow”

I grab my bag and about to leave the class

“wait! You will skip the next class lesson?” he ask

“I have to..”

"Where are you going?"

"Not your bussines"

I will go home

"Bye, Rino!"

“Hey! Make sure that you’ll give me the ticket tomorrow!” Rino shout





*On the way home*

*beep* *beep*

I open my cellphone. There’s a mail.

I let out a sigh and continue to walk..

I look up at the sky..ahhh, the sk is so cloudy..maybe, it will rain..

I suddenly feel  water splash on my face..

I run fast along my way home..

*Akicha’s house*

“Tada ima!”

As expected.No one answer..I live with my mother and brother. My father had died when I was in junior high school. My brother is a collage student. He often come home late because of his part-time work. And my mother is a chef in a chinese restaurant near our house which open until late night.

I go to my room and change. My uniform, and my body also, are wet because of the rain. Then, I put my uniform into the washing machine. I need to wash my uniform. After that, I take a shower.

After take a shower, I go to the kichen and make a glass of hot tea. In a time like this you need something to warm up your body, right?

I go to living room and turn on the television. There's no TV channel that catch my attention, until i watch an entertainment news program...

I suddenly remember a thing..

The ticket for the show! Rino’s ticket! I put it in My uniform pocket!!  I forgot to took it from the pocket before I put my uniform into the machine!!

I quickly run toward my washing machine and turn off the machine. I take out my uniform and grope the pocket. I can’t find the ticket. The ticket has transformed into paper-pulp.

I lean my haed on the washing machine

Why? I ask to my self

Why I forgot to put out it?

Why can’t they made the ticket with better paper so it doesn’t have to become paper-pulp if it contact with water?

This is the worst day of my life. Tomorrow, Rino will kill me T_T

Watanabe Mayu's POV : Girlfriend

Yeah, finally the class is over..i quickly put all my stuff into my bag..

Komori Mika come to me "Nee Mayu, let's go home together"

I give Komorin my apologetic face "I'm sorry,Komorin. I want to go to school library now."

"Library? Mou~ that place is so boring"

I chuckle. She doesn't like a quiet place "I need a quiet place to draw my manga. and library is a perfect place"

"Because you're my friend then you are forgiven. Okay, i'll go home now"

She then hug me and give my cheek a kiss “See you tomorrow, Mayu”

“See you tomorrow, Komorin”



*In the library*
I sit near the corner of the building.I look at some papers of my drawings on the table in front of me. I’ve already drew all the character that I will put on my manga. Except for one character. The main male character. The prince. Ahhhh, this is frustrating.  I still can’t draw his face. My prince is still faceless. I’ve already draw many male faces. But, still, my heart didn’t feel any chemistry. What should I do??
Suddenly, I feel so sleepy. It must be because last night I watched my fav anime DVD until midnight. Ohh, I need sleep now.

I feel someone shake my shoulder.I open my eyes slowly.

“Watanabe-san. The library will be closed soon” a woman in front of me said to me. Her name is Yamada-san. She is an officer in school library.

“Ahh, I’m so sorry Yamada-san. I didn’ t mean to sleep here.”

She smile “It’s okay, Watanabe-san. ”

“I’ll leave now” I get up and grab my drawings. I bow at Yamada-san “Once again. I’m really sorry”

I quickly leave the library..Oh God, I feel so embarrassed..

I walk along the corridor of my school. I see no one. All of the students must be already come home.

Suddenly, I hear a girl voice..

“Jun, please don’t leave me!”

I stop my walk

“Akane! Don’t you hear what I’ve said?”

Eh, a boy voice.

“No, Jun. Please, I love you so much”

I try to search for the source of the voices.

“I’m sorry but I don’t love you”

Ohh, lover’s quarrel.

“Jun, please give me a chance. I’ll make you fall in love with me”

The girl is starting to cry.

I finally find the source of the voice. I comes from class 1-S. I walk closer to class 1-S. I can see from the window there’s a girl and a boy in the class. The girl isn’t come from my school. I can judge from the uniform she’s wearing. And the boy..Ahhh, I know that boy. Matsui Jun, the most popular first year student.  He’s so popular among girls. Okay, he’s handsome and captain of our school’s basketball team.

“I’m sorry, Akane.But I have new girlfriend”

Tsk..that guy is a real playboy

The girl named Akane run into Jun and hug him.

“No, I’m your only girlfriend!!”

Matsui Jun made a girl from other school cried and begged for his love.  This is will be great news. I take my cellphone from my pocket. I will take a picture of this.

“Please understand, Akane. You and me is over!!” Jun try to break the girls’s hug but he can’t. That girl hug Jun so tightly.

Just when I’ll push my cellphone’s button to take the picture..


Tomo yo, omoide yori  kagayaiteru asu wo shinjiyou


Ehhhhh…why my cellphone is ringing at a time like this!!!!  I quickly turn off my phone. But, it’s already too late.

I look at 2 people who become my object of view for a while ago. They look at me..

“Hey! Who are you? Do you overhear our conversation?!” the girl say to me with angry. Then, I see Matsui Jun walk toward my direction. .OH NO! what will he do to me?!

“Gomenasai!  I..I..didn’t..I mean..It’s just..”

I try to explain but nothing proper sentence come from my mouth..

Finally, Jun grab my wrist and drag me into the classroom. Then he stand behind me. I suddenly feel my waist encircled by arms from behind.

“Akane, this is my new girlfriend” Jun said

Eeeehhhh…What?!  I turn my head to see Jun’s face

“What do yo- ……”

I can’t finish my words when I feel something soft and moist press against my lip.

Because I understand KojiYuu practically well, no reason to ask, I was curious about MayuJurina, but you answered it already haha.

I'm kinda curious what Mayu will do, will she slap him, push him away and deny that she's Jun's GF or will she run away or stand there like a stone statue until the girl leaves wailing and weeping, vowing to get revenge on her? Hahahaha, so many ideas in my mind I'm tending to speculate wuah~

@sieka : mayu will return jun's kiss and they will make out in the classroom (hahaha...i know that's impossible)  yes, RenYuki is inspired from BlackGeki pairing. At first i want to make RenAkicha (remember that when Rena did danso, Akicha said that Rena's danso is her type)..but, then i thought that RenAkicha pairing is so random  i remember BlackGeki pairing then i change it into RenYuki.
