That Limited B cover bothers me...why is Yurina grouped with the girls in red when she could've easily been grouped with the others in blue like in the other covers???

UFA marketing be trolling us again.

I suppose I shouldn't have expected too much of a difference from the original, which seems to have been released fairly recently (whereas "Dschinghis Khan" had a 3 decade separation so a drastic change in sound quality and style was expected). I like it though, seems like it's right up Berryz Kobo's alley to take on such a crazy song.

Here's the other Bird Thongchai song, by the way...looking forward to see how the girls handle this one, especially with that choreography:

I'm disappointed that "Loving You Too Much" is unlikely to get a video...but at least the Momochi song will have one, so that should be pretty interesting!

I like this way more than I ever though I would based on the preview we heard.

Just some observations from the pv
- Captain really stands out with the hip thrusts in the choreography. Get it, Cap!

- Momo looks more mature than usual, even with that hair style. I couldn't say why but she just seems more womanly lately, and in this video especially
- Maasa should always wear royal blue, it really highlights her fair complexion and hair

Everyone looks great! I can't wait to do this song at karaoke, I bet it would be really fun.

The original Thai song has had a tendency to get stuck in my head at random times ever since I first heard it...but looks like this version will be taking over those duties now!

The video definitely has a "Dschinghis Khan" vibe going on, not just the fact that it's another foreign cover song but also the camera work. Risako's hair looks a lot better in video form than it does in still photos, though it's funny how a subtle change of lighting makes her color look so different.

I concur with Rina about Captain being fun to watch (despite being short in H!P's tallest group and her "backup singer" status she still manages to stay visible) and the karaoke potential.

I'm totally tempted to spam this ￣\_(ツ)_/￣ emoticon for the rest of the month!

They played a preview of Loving You Too Much (and Momochi's song lol) on this episode of Tsunagaru Go Go which Captain and Chi appeared on. It sounds really good so far. Can't wait for the full version.

Good god. I can't believe they kept the crappy arrangement parts in the lesser A-side while changing the oh-so-awesome B-side's arrangements and turning it into an overhappy/sugar-induced-diabetic-coma kids' song. Should have been the other way round, damn!

I was just about to post that!

While I don't share elgie's same level of harsh sentiments, I kinda don't like the direction they took the song. I mean it still sounds good and all with the tropical flavor and the girls singing well, but I'm disappointed that it doesn't stick close to the same funky rhythm as the original, which would've been more interesting for both the song itself and for Berryz to handle.
