this is unrelated to the new chapter, but i just re-read the prologue while I was writing this chapter and it made me so sad that I cried so much T_T i dont know what has gotten into me when i wrote that super sad prologue
and i dont think i can write anything that will surpass that. But i'll do my best and improve so i can beat that prologue! I seriously think the prologue was my best one

Chapter 5Rena saw a familiar figure that was standing at the door. Rena stood up slowly and called her name.
"Kumi...what are y-" Rena couldn't complete her words as Kumi slowly walked to where Rena was standing while Yuria just stood at the door not moving an inch.
Everyone's eyes were on Rena and the beautiful strangers that suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
"Rena, It's been a long time. Can we talk? I need to tell you something." Kumi said with a very serious face on.
Airin who don't know what was happening just like everyone else stood up and went between the two.
Airin went in front of Rena with an arm trying to protect Rena from the stranger.
"It's fine Airin." Rena smiled at Airin and Airin who was still worried finally nodded at Rena.
Airin cant help but feel a strange and dark aura from the strangers which makes her want to protect Rena from them.
Rena was still dumbstruck at the sight of her old best friend so she just nodded at Kumi.
Kumi walked outside followed by Rena and Yuria. As they walked in the hallways, everyone they passed by can feel the ambiguous aura that the three girls are emitting.
Kumi and Rena sat at the bench outside the school building beside the huge tree. Yuria however, just stood near the trunk of the tree facing away from the two girls.
Jurina was outside the restroom drying her hands while secretly waiting for Akane to come out.
Akane came out of the restroom also drying her hands with a tissue.
Akane saw Jurina trying to dry her already dry hands. Akane laughed at Jurina's obviousness, "You're still here? Were you waiting for me?"
"Was I too obvious?", Jurina thought.
"No way! W-Why would I?!" Jurina didn't mean to stutter but she couldn't help it.
"Haha why are you stuttering? Juri-chan is sooo cute" Akane laughed and she pinched Jurina's cheeks with both hands.
Jurina removed Akane's hands from her cheeks and blushed a bright red.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Jurina was both angry and shocked as she shouted at Akane.
Akane just giggled which irritated Jurina more.
"Why are you waiting for me anyways?" Akane started to walk and Jurina followed her behind.
"I told you I'm not waiting for you! You're so full of yourself!" Jurina shouted while pointing at Akane.
"Hahaha! Whatever you say, Juri-chan!" Akane just continued to laugh at Jurina.
"...And stop calling me Juri-chan! We're not close you know!" Jurina pouted as she looked away at Akane.
"We will be." Akane faced Jurina and winked at her.
"How can you be so sure?" Jurina asked curiously.
"I just do." Akane walked backwards as she faced Jurina and smiled at her widely.
"Again, You're so full of yourself." Jurina sighed.
They entered their classroom and Jurina immediately noticed that Rena was nowhere to be found.
She immediately went to Airin to ask about her sister.
"Furukawa-san? Where did my sister go?!" Jurina asked desperately.
"They left just moments ago." Airin said with a hint of worry in her voice.
"They? Who are you talking about? Who is she with?" Jurina asked frantically.
"Some girl named Kumi and another girl came here to look for Rena-san and they are now talking at the bench outside the building." Airin pointed at the window on her left.
"Ku- That bitch!" Jurina looked at the window and true to that, she saw Rena with Kumi and Yuria. It will be her biggest nightmare if she didn't make it in time to stop whatever Kumi came here for.
Jurina immediately ran off of their classroom not noticing that she bumped into Akane which made her fall down on her butt.
Akane screamed at the sudden impact and Airin immediately tended to her.
"Churi, are you alright?" Airin asked with worry.
"Ah yes, yes, I'm fine but what is happening?" Akane asked as she rubs her aching butt as she stood up with Airin's help.
"I'm as clueless as you are." Airin said full of worry for Rena.
Airin and Akane joined the students who were watching Rena and the strangers by the window.
Jurina was running at her fastest speed possible while occasionally bumping to students. She even knocked down a teacher who was carrying loads of paperworks. The papers were flying all over the place but Jurina didn't even said sorry or helped the teacher. She just have one thing in her mind and that is...
To take Rena away from that sly bitch!
Jurina finally arrived outside and stopped briefly when she saw the three girls. She run towards the three and grabbed Rena by her hand.
"Neechan, Let's go!" Jurina said as she glared at Kumi.
Kumi just stared at Jurina with a sad expression. Kumi stood up and walked closer to Jurina.
"I was just about to tell her everything. You have great timing as always Juritan." Kumi said with a small smile.
"Don't talk to me like that! You bitch!" Jurina shouted with rage.
"Jurina! Watch your mouth! And what do you mean by tell me everything?" Rena shouted for the first time in years. Rena hated it when Jurina curses. But what bothers her more is what Kumi was about to confess to her.
"Jurina, I need to tell her. I can't live with the guilt anymore. Please let me." Kumi sounded pleading but still have her composure.
"Guilt? I told you a million times it isn't your fault for what he did." Rena said with her head down.
"Just let me tell her, please." Kumi pleaded to Jurina once again but this time she knelt down on the ground and bowed to Jurina.
"NO! Live with that guilt for all I care!" Jurina shouted again and kicked the ground splashing dirt on Kumi's face.
"Neesan!" Yuria who couldn't watch her sister make a fool of herself anymore, run towards Kumi and helped her removed the dirt on her hair and face.
"Jurina! That was mean and uncalled for!" Rena shouted at Jurina and removed her hand from Jurina's hold.
"I know that what my sister did is horrible but she doesn't deserve this kind of treatment." Yuria said in a low voice as she continue to remove the dirt from her sister's hair.
"Are you fucking kidding me? What she did is way worse than horrible! She deserves to rot in hell!!!" Jurina shouted at the girls so loud that the veins in her neck are showing.
**Slap**Rena slapped Jurina hard. Kumi, Yuria, Jurina and even the bystanders watching them were all shocked at what Rena just did.
"Neechan..." Jurina looked at her sister with shock.
"I don't know what it is that you're keeping from me but that is no way to talk to a person! Especially to my friend! Kumi didn't do anything wrong for the nth time! Was it her fault for being his sister? No! I don't blame Kumi or Yuria. I only have myself to blame!" Rena cried as she shouted her feelings.
"Neechan..." Jurina's voice broke as tears started to fall from her eyes.
"I can't take this anymore! She deserves to know the truth! She deserves to hate me for all eternity!" Kumi cried as she shouted.
"Neesan" Yuria was also crying too for her sister.
"NO! Don't hurt my sister anymore than you already did! Get the hell out of our school and don't ever come back!" Jurina found her voice again and her rage came back.
"Neesan, let's just go for now." Yuria said as she helped Kumi stand up.
"We'll just come back another day. And I'll make sure to apologize correctly this time. Rena, It's great to see you all better now." Kumi smiled weakly at Rena as more tears started to fall from her eyes.
"Don't you dare." Jurina gritted her teeth as she spoke.
Kumi and Yuria were now walking towards the school gate.
Rena faced Jurina and shouted, "What is wrong with you!"
"You don't understand, neechan. I'm doing this to protect you." Jurina said in a low voice with her head down and clenching her fist.
"Then make me understand! What is it you're not telling me! What did Kumi do to make you hate her this much!" It was now Rena's turn to be in rage.
"I can't. Please just trust me, neechan." Jurina looked at Rena as she holds onto Rena's hands.
Rena removed her hands from Jurina's hold and turned her back on her, "I can't trust you if you're hiding something from me."
Rena walked away from Jurina and Jurina just stood there. She can handle Rena's rage but what she can't handle is see her sister miserable and hurt once again.
Airin who saw everything immediately ran off to look for Rena when she saw that she was heading towards the back of the school instead of inside it. She knew something wasn't right when those two showed up.
Airin ran as fast as she could and unlike Jurina, she tried to avoid the students passing by.
Airin was now outside the building and started running at the back where Rena headed.
Jurina sat at the bench as she clenched her fists.
"You could cut your hands with your nails if you keep on clenching your fists like that." Akane said a she sat beside Jurina on the bench.
"Mind your own business!" Jurina shouted but with what Akane said she unclenched her fists and she saw that there were already nails marks on her fists.
"See? I told you so!" Akane said with a smile.
"Leave me alone." Jurina said in a serious tone.
"That won't do. It's not good to be alone." Akane said seriously for the first time.
Akane's seriousness surprised Jurina which made her look at Akane as she talk some more.
"I don't know why you did what you did, but what I do know is you love your sister so much. So much that you love her more than yourself. And you will do anything to protect her and make her happy. And whatever it is I'm sure there's a very valid reason for your actions." Akane said with her serious tone again.
Akane just knew Jurina for a couple of days. But ever since the first day, she couldn't keep her eyes away from Jurina. She watches Jurina as she takes out their lunch boxes and her failed attempts on trying to feed Rena. She would watch Jurina as Jurina smiles and acts cutely in front of her sister. She would watch Jurina get jealous whenever Rena and Airin talk with each other or exchange glances.
Akane realized then how much she knows about Jurina just by watching her.
Jurina tear up and looked away from Akane.
"How would you know?" Jurina asked between her sobs.
"I just do." Akane said with a smile and back to her cheerful tone.
Jurina looked at Akane and saw her smile which made her feel at ease a bit.
"You're so full of yourself." Jurina gave Akane a wide smile while tears are still flowing down her face.
When Akane saw this face, it was as if her heart skipped a bit at the beauty in front of her even if she's crying.
Akane blushed and smiled at Jurina widely.
Rena was now sitting at a bench at the back of the school.
This was the very first time that she and her sister had a fight. And it doesn't feel right.
She hated herself for slapping her sister and regretted it the moment she did it.
"How did things turned out this way? They used to be so close. We all used to be so close. It's all my fault. If I just..." She asks herself in her head.
"But what is it that Kumi wanted to tell me? What is it that Jurina is keeping from me? What is it?!" Rena shouted in her head as she grabs her head with both hands. The curiosity is killing her.
She wants to know but maybe it's better for her not to know? Maybe that's why Jurina is keeping it from her.
Rena was still in deep thought when she felt something on her back.
She looked up and saw that Airin had given her jacket to her just like how she did it when they were alone in front of the school gate.
"It's cold out here since there's not much sunlight coming in." Airin said in a serious yet loving voice.
Airin sat at the far end of the bench trying not to be so close to Rena.
Airin didn't know what to tell Rena to comfort her so she just did what she does best. Giving her, her jacket and staying silent. She feels that even if she doesn't talk, just with a presence near her, it can make Rena feel at ease.
Well, that was how she felt whenever her mama comes to comfort her. Not her real mother but her second mother that was always there for her.
They both sat there not making any noise. The only noise that can be heard are the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the leaves.
Rena continued to think and felt grateful to Airin that she didn't ask her anything. Because if she did, she doesn't know what to say to her. She was never good at things like confrontations or comforting or being comforted by people. So she was grateful to her for being silent. Airin's presence somehow makes her feel better and she feels happy how Airin looked for her.
**Ding Dong Ding**Airin stood up and said, "That's the lunch bell we should go now, Rena-san."
Airin started to leave but was then stopped when Rena grabbed her blouse from the back.
"Airin, Thank you..." Rena said while staring at the ground.
"Thank you for the jacket. Thank you for not asking. Thank you for just being here with me. It means a lot." Rena thought. She has a lot of things to say to Airin but just those two words come out of her mouth.
"E-Ehhhh! But I-I didn't do anything!" Airin faced Rena as she stuttered while flailing her hands.
"You did more than enough." Rena tilted her head and smiled sweetly at Airin while she was clutching on Airin's jacket that she was still wearing.
It was as if Airin saw an angel in front of her. She started to blush immediately.
"I'm glad I helped you somehow Rena-san." Airin said and smiled sweetly.
Now, It was Rena who thinks she just saw an angel. "Ahhhh sooo cute", was all that Rena can think about when she saw Airin's sweet sweet smile.
Rena and Airin went back and as they walk they passed by Jurina and Akane.
"Neechan!" Jurina shouted when she saw Rena with Airin.
"Not now, Jurina. There's still a lot of things on my mind. I'll talk to you later at home when I cleared my mind." Rena said to her sister and continued to walk inside with Airin following behind her.
Rena stopped midway and said," By the way, I'll ask Airin to give me a ride later so don't wait for me."
"EHHHH?" Airin was shocked at what Rena just said.
"It's not like she's riding with you for the first time. What the heck are you so shocked about!", Airin thought to herself. Then again, this will be the first time they are riding together without Jurina in between them.
Rena and Airin continued to walked inside.
"Give her some time." Akane patted Jurina on her back.
Jurina looked at Akane and nodded at her.
"Now, let's go inside! I don't want to be late." Akane grabbed Jurina's hand and ran towards the building.
Classes resumed and not once did Rena and Jurina spoke. Even when the teacher were asking them questions. They seem spaced out and thinking too much. The teacher got angry at both of them for not responding to her.
"WMatsui! To detention, now! If you're not going to listen to me then you two just better go to the detention room. I'm disappointed in the both of you! You two were always the most attentive in my class, or was it all a show so you can gain popularity in this school?" The teacher was fat and has pimples all over her face and neck. She doesn't want to show it but she is jealous of the Matsui sisters' or Wmatsui as she called them, of their beauty. So this was her chance to punish them like she wanted to do the very first time she saw the two.
Rena and Jurina obeyed quietly and walked to the detention room.
As Jurina and Rena were walking, the two of them still haven't talked to each other even when they entered the detention room and diligently worked on their punishment.
It was Jurina who broke the silence by saying, "That fatso sure hates us a lot." She said as she scratches her head with the tip of the pencil she's holding.
"Watch your mouth." was all Rena said as she continued writing 'I will always listen to my teacher and not space out.'
"Sorry." said Jurina in a serious tone.
"I'm sorry too." Rena said sadly as she remembers how she slapped her sister earlier.
"Don't be neechan, I went overboard." Jurina looked at her sister.
"Yes, you did. That was too mean Jurina. I am disappointed in you." Rena said still not looking at Jurina.
"I'm sorry." Jurina had her head down then.
Rena stood up from her seat and knelt down in front of Jurina's chair to look at Jurina's face.
"Ne, tell me everything please?" Rena said in a pleading voice as she stares in Jurina's eyes.
"Not now. You're still fragile, neechan." Jurina shed tears as she spoke.
"Jurina....was it that horrible?" Rena wiped her sister's tears with both hands as she cupped Jurina's face as well. Seeing a crying Jurina makes her remember how young her sister really is.
All this time Jurina was taking care of her. Taking over the duty of the older sister. Her duty. She should be the one protecting her and not the other way around. She's thankful to her sister either way.
"Ok, I won't ask anymore. I'll wait for you to tell me yourself." Rena hugged Jurina while still kneeling down.
"Thank you, Juritan." Rena said sweetly as she hugged Jurina tightly. Just hearing her nickname coming from her sister made her wailed even louder.
Classes ended and so did the WMatsui's detention. The students seems to be surprised when they saw the Matsui sisters coming out of the detention room hand in hand. But words travel fast and even before everyone was gone, all the students know that it was the famous and hated teacher that brought them there. It seems like this was not the first time this female teacher brought students to detention because she was envious of their looks. Words also traveled how she named them 'WMatsui' earning a new name in replace of the 'Matsui Sisters'.
Rena and Jurina went back to the classroom to get their things. When Airin saw the two enter the classroom hand in hand, she knew what was going to happen next.
"Airin, I'll ride with my sister today. Sorry for including you earlier in our immature fight." Rena said as she walked closer to Airin's seat.
"A-Ahhh! No! No! It's fine!" Airin said as she waves her hands in disagreement. Even though she feels disappointed inside. She was looking forward to riding with Rena.
"Thank you for understanding." Rena smiled at her.
"I-It's nothing!" Airin said in a loud voice.
"Can I have your number Airin?" Rena asked Airin shyly as she blushes.
"EHHHHH????!!!! W-What f-f-for?!?!" Airin stepped backward in shock.
"So that I can message you for our date this weekend." Rena looked away to hide her now blushing face.
"D-D-D-Date????!!!" Airin almost sat on her seat if she wasn't holding on her chair for support.
With Airin's reaction Rena became even more embarrassed and tried to explain herself, "Ah! I-I didn't mean it like that. I meant a friendly date." Rena was now the one stuttering.
"A-Ah! Of course that's what you mean! Ha Ha Ha" Airin hits her head and laughs awkwardly.
Rena and Airin exchanged numbers using the infrared of their cellphones.
"Well then see you tomorrow and this weekend, Airin." Rena smiled at Airin sweetly.
"See yah!" Airin held up her hand as if she was raising her hand to answer a question that was asked by the teacher.
"Neechan, let's go." Jurina taps Rena on her shoulder.
Rena nods at Jurina and gave Airin one last smile.
Airin was smiling like an idiot even when Rena was now out of sight.
"You better close that mouth or a fly will enter it." Akane said as she laughs at the sight of Airin.
Airin immediately closed her mouth and hits Akane.
"So, do you want a ride today?" Airin asked Akane as she packs her things inside her bag.
"Nope, but thanks! I prefer walking today. The weather seems so nice." Akane smelled the air and exhaled.
"Seriously? Okay fine. See you tomorrow. Goodbye then." Airin walked out of the classroom leaving Akane all alone inside.
Akane sat on Jurina's seat which was beside a window.
"Ahhhh....right...it's today...." Akane stared at the scenery outside as she sighed deeply.
