What a FUCKING AMAZING PLAYER!  And I don't care what, he's passed EVERY drug test they've thrown his way.  Boo Raffy if you must but Bonds has probably pissed in enough cups to fill a goddamn lake and they STILL can't nab him (or Giambi, for that matter).  Hmm, he must be clean.

Bonds WILL have some challenges in the off-season cause yeah he really DOES need to lose weight if he wants to ease the pressure off his fragile knee and also play the outfield in the National League.

Four dingers in four days!!

#707!

Losing pitcher John Patterson said he threw Bonds a "perfect" pitch (for him) on the inside of the plate.

A little of topic, as it's about the Japanese Baseball League and not MLB, but it DOES involve our favourite team: The RAKUTEN GOLDEN EAGLES!!!

I'm at home this afternoon, waiting for my A/C box to get service.

In the meantime... I'm trying to follow both the Boston-Toronto and New York-Baltimore games.  It's tied up in Fenway in the 7th while the Orioles have a two-run lead on the Bombers with only one out in the fifth, bases loaded.

An opposite-field, three-run blast in the first inning today against the Padres.

OHHH...too bad the Padres clinched. Will Barry pack it in??

and holy shit, good for the White Sox on clinching the AL Central. So fuckin close to choking away a 15 game lead...I don't want Cleveland to win the wildcard anyways. They fuckin boring. A ChiSox vs Yankees plus Angels vs Red Sox rematch would be good.

Mike Stanton rented LOL. This weekend's Red Sox vs Yankees got my full attention. :w00t:

Opinions on who is gonna be MVP?? A-Rod got it locked vs Ortiz ...not too sure about the NL though.

FWIW, I think Sheffield has created more runs (and therefore more wins) for the Yankees than Ortiz has for the Red Sox.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time A-Rod gets jobbed out of MVP he deserved.

I know...Sheff played lights out this aft. injured and still made huge plays. LMFAO @ Torre crying.

So funny Cleveland colapsed down the stretch...I bet Selig is gonna have a playoff on Monday with Boston and C-town.

I like
AL MVP - A-Rod
NL MVP - Pujos

AL Cy -  Colon
NL Cy -  D-Train

David Pinto made a good point about today's (Sunday) baseball coverage on the ESPN networks.

ESPN is showing the Yankees-Red Sox game and rolling coverage of the other important games with wild card implications on ESPN2.  It's not distracting at all.

The Fox network would probably show one game and that's all.  They just don't give a shit about baseball.  Hell, any major TV network would rather show an NFL exhibition game than any one of these games.

I got ESPN on TV and ESPN2 on my computer.

^ that's the best way to bet Asmo. usually the clueless nail em. esp. around NCAA Final Four

That saying...few quick takes. DAMN...Smoltz is money tonite. Atlanta may have got one but Oswald is up next. AND in Houston. so bye bye Braves.

Tmr's AL matchups look alright...BoSox will probably take one back, but damn, ChiSox find a great time to wake up and dominate.
