The 2012 calendars have gone on sale and that can only mean one thing... Time to start anticipating the 2013 calendars!

Let's hope they ditch the lame 30x30 calendars from this year and come out with some proper B2 sized ones again!


Here is what we got so far for 2013:

HMV just listed a whole bunch of individual member calendars for 2013. There are two types this time - B2 size calendar and desk calendar. It would appear that only the top members get their own B2 calendar while everyone (incl. the top members) gets a desk calendar.

Finally! Really happy we're getting B2 again!

FYI, the 2011 Desktop calendars were sized at 15×21 cm which is really tiny.

Why aren't people raving about the little previews?! 

Random thoughts:
- Takamina has been looking super cute lately. She pwns the other No Sleeves members
- Kasai's on the top of my "I might buy this" list followed by Yokoyama.

To me, a good calendar photo involves:
1. Eyes looking at the camera. If not, it's either too artsy or boring. These pages have to remain interesting for two months! Miichan's the only one who doesn't have this based on the preview pics.
2. Mouth open, preferably showing teeth. This is the most natural and heartfelt look. Only five of them have this.
3. Less important than the first two points, but it can make or break a good photo: setting. It has to suit the girl and not feel forced. Prime examples of a bad setting are last year's Rena calendar where she plays basketball and golf.
4. All the technical stuff like proper lighting, color and being in focus, etc.

The 2011 Mayuyu calendar was honestly my best purchase that year, making me happy all year-round.
But this time I'm totally gonna go for Kashiwagi's since she has one of her own at last. That cover face is gonna look huge!

I'll also get the box. Last year's was pretty nice. Studio shots, but they didn't feel bland and had some good themes. Underwear shop collab FTW!!~
Still cannot imagine how that paper-kami-pants thing can turn out good though.

Too bad three calendars for one year is kinda overkill. If there was no Yukirin solo, I'd totally get Umechan's one. That preview pic sure is a beaut-y~
