Finally watched this series. And I'm soooo disappointed.

Although there was some trying with the plot, it ended up being pretty generic. The same goes with the characters. Haruhi was interesting in the first 2 episodes. When she changed to her hyperenergetic self, she became kinda boring and annoying. Kyon was bored even in the series, so was the character.

The mixed order of the episodes usually is a good thing, since it's usually a sign of acid-like, twisted and interesting story. But Haruhi's story was so simple that mixing the episode order was probably the best try to save the failed script. Well it didn't work.

Now I have to shed a tear every time I see this series on some Top100 anime lists.

I have no idea if it's just someone's random thoughts, a rumor or real but the cast looks pretty awesome.

Says haruhi would be played by none other than Yui Aragaki!!! And Mikiru is gonna be played by Erika Toda!!!

Toda as Erika doesn't really fit for a couple reasons >_> but if this were true it would be fucking awesome.

I'm pretty doubtful though.

Maybe someone better at japanese could elaborate.

I find this hard to believe, but Gakky should do well playing her part. It'll be nice to see her playing a character like Haruhi. I think Toda could do it, she just needs bigger boobies. Pretty nice cast I guess, but as far as looking like the characters goes, its not. I can kind of see Matsuyama as Kyon, though. Hmm..
