Finally some proper previews!

First thoughts:
- What a horrible outfit. 
On the other hand, I'm glad they didn't play the sexy card already.
They could have given her a debut similar to Ohori Megumi, but they didn't!

- It sounds like... an Acchan song. A standard pop song with some acoustic and electric guitars in the mix. It's the standard formula, which means the song is actually pretty good. More importantly, she should be able to reach a wide audience with it. The downside is that a 'safe' song can never really reach high level of epic (i.e. Momoiro Clover Z - Mugen no Ai). But yeah, as a solid debut it makes sense.

• I'm sooooo agreed with you on this. Even though she's sexy, she's clearly stated that she didn't like when people called her ero. So I'm glad the single is nothing like Ohori`s
• And agreed on this too. The song is too idolish for my taste (kinda hoping another Kimi Ni Tsuite), but for a solo debut it's good.

Edit: someone said in another forum that it wasn't a lip-sync so I listened it over and over again, and it's true. I could hear her voice wavering somewhere in the middle, but considering how nervous she was and the weather in Tokyo right now... Major thumbs up to Chiyuu

I'm lucky when i make friend with a Japanese fan who is Kasai Tomomi's fan, and some photos of chiyuu's concert that i had are his.

Media has reported on its contents.
But sloppy its contents. Only the word "professional disqualification" was the title.
Yasushi Akimoto, has defended in subsequent articles. There has not been transmitted.

I don't know Japanese so i can't understand content exactly. And about what he said to me, i wonder it's a rumor or a true information, but i always believe in Chiyuu

And another news is Yoshinori Kobayashi is really praise Chiyuu. Yoshinori Kobayashi is famous cartoonist in Japan.

Well, the live event was titled "まさかこのコンサートの出演は逃亡はしないよね?" which translates to something like "Surely, you won't run away from a concert?" Pretty stupid. It's like she has to wear the rock of shame. It doesn't make sense to give her solo debut as punishment, so I believe all the bad stuff they keep saying about Kasai is purely to keep the hype going. Any publicity is good publicity.

On November 25th, AKB48’s Kasai Tomomi performed her solo debut song, “Masaka“, for the very first time during the Japan Cup at Tokyo Keibajo.

This day also marked the start of Japan Racing Association’s campaign, ‘AKB no Gachi Uma 2 Revenge‘. Like the previous campaign, 30 members of AKB48 who are over the age of 20 will compete by betting on a horse race. The winner of the previous campaign, Kasai, was “rewarded” not only with a CM, but also a solo live.
After revealing that “Masaka” would be the title of her debut single, Kasai commented, “For me the solo debut was ‘masaka’ (‘unexpected’), so I was really surprised and happy with the title ‘Masaka’.”

She continued, “Until now, I’ve been active as AKB48 while dreaming for a solo debut and I’ve been supported by many fans. This is really a moment when my dream has come true, so I want to work even harder in order to get more people to know about ‘Kasai Tomomi’.”

Kasai sang solo versions of AKB48’s “Heavy Rotation” and “Flying Get“. She will release “Masaka” on December 26th.

After watching that clip, I have one thing to say..
WHY DID THEY PICK THAT AS THE CD COVER?!

yesterday, when i saw CD cover type A, i was shock and thought about the Masaka's pv, it may be.....     
but ,today when i saw pv preview, er....      , it's kawaii and why pv and CD cover differ like that

Yeah, I have to agree. The song is soft pop-rock like Acchan/Taylor Swift/etc would do.
The PV seems to have some cute outfits, some megane outfits and some typical love story moments.
So why go with those covers?! I don't like it. Haha.

They should have kept the CD covers cute, and just keep all that sexy stuff in the upcoming PB.
That way people will take her more seriously as a solo singer and we can have an epic PB, lol.
