Chapter 4
“At last work is finish”
Akicha said while flash a smile at me, I just look at her then I felt my phone vibrated, so I look it up
to: Yuki <3
from: Sae
Subject: Yuki T^T
Yuki I need to go out of town, I need to go to this stupid meeting now. I will be gone in three days. Please call me if you got home, or something happen. I love you <3
I just smile at her childish message, but Akicha notice me and ask me
“What was that?”
I just smile, and look at her
“Hmm.. nothing, Sae gonna be gone for a while”
I said, then Akicha calp her hand and smile at me
“Nee Yuki-san, Let go out, let’s have dinner together huh?”
She asked, I just nodded my head as an approval to her, beside I’m not really a good cook myself, Rena or Sae sometimes cooks for me
“Ahh!! Great my friend recommend me to this western-japanese style restaurant near her workplace, let go there “
Akicha said then hop into my car, I just drive to the restaurant and we have a dinner there, Akicha talks to me about some random stuff or sometimes work related stuff. While we were having dinner I saw a girl entered the same restaurant and the staff bow their heads to her. I look closely to the girl and realize it is Mayu, But she wore a glasses and kinda look serious, I think she didn’t notice us. She sat down in one of the chairs that have reserve sign and the Manager of the restaurant also sat down with her. They seems talking about something serious, this is my first time seeing Mayu having that kind of look. She look so serious, and have that kind of bossy type of aura around her.
“Nee Yuki-san are you still listening to me?”
Akicha said while pouting, I just look at her and bow my head
“Gomen hahaha, where are we again?”
I said, then we continue our meal, but then Akicha receive a call from work, she said our boss need her to finish some reports, so we call the waiter and to get the bill, But seems like Mayu notice us and come near us
“Ahh Yuki you’re here”
Mayu said, then show me her new smile to me, I just nodded my head and introduce my friend and co-worker to her
“ahh!!, were about to get the bill, ahh and Mayu this is Akicha my friend and co-worker”
I said, then Mayu bow to Akicha and introduce her herself, also did Akicha. Then the waiter come and show us the bill, but Mayu snatch the bill from us, and smile
“hehehe it’s on the house tonight?”
Mayu said then call the waiter and said something to him
“Ehh!! Really?”
Akicha said, while I just watch “What’s Mayu doing?” I asked myself
“Yep don’t worry about it, It’s on me”
Mayu said, then smile at us, Akicha then get up and say her thank’s to Mayu and leave, for her report, I just look at Mayu
“Mayu I will pay you”
I said, I was about to open my wallet but Mayu stopped me, and smile at me
“Yuki don’t worry about it, it’s nothing”
Mayu said, while smile at me, But I still refuse
“Mayu, please accept this I know how hard to gain money these days, it’s not like you own this place right?”
I said, then get some cash from my wallet and handed it to her, But she just smile at me and return me the money
“Yeah Yuki I own this place, so don’t worry about it”
She said, then smile at me, I just look at her
“Ehh?!”
Is all the word I can say, Mayu just laugh at me, and tap my back
“Yuki you’re reaction are still funny”
She said while laughing, I just pouted at her and give her some money and leave
“Ehh!! Yuki gomen, gomen It’s just you’re funny and here, Like I said you don’t have to worry about it”
Mayu said then trying to return my money again
“Mayu I will pay for my meals”
I said, then look at her, she just removed her glasses and look at me and smile
“Nee Yuki I wont accept this money, but can you do me a favor instead , huh as a payment?”
She said while giving me that smile she used to give me back then in highschool, I just look at her and I felt my heatbeat speed up because of that
“What is it?”
I asked while trying to look away from her, then she smile at me
“Can you accompany me for my shopping?”
She said then bow at me, I just widen my eyes and shock about her request
“EHH!!?”
I said obviously showing my over reaction face, She just smile at me and laugh
“Nee Yuki I just need to buy something, don’t worry it won’t take long”
She said, then we walked to the jewelry shop near the restaurant, we look around for a bit, then she come to the counter and buy something
“Mayu what did you buy?”
I asked her, then she just smile at me and show me the pair of necklace that she just brought, the necklace is a lock and a key, and have a initial of M&J to it , I just smile at her
“Nee Mayu what was that for?”
I asked but Mayu look softly at the pair of necklace and smile
“I order it, I asked them to make this for me, this is my present for Jurina in our anniversary, I hope she will like it”
She said, I felt a little pain in my chest when she said that
“Mayu since when did you and Jurina start dating?”
I asked, she look at me and smile and grab my hand and started to walk
“Hmm before we graduate highschool I guess, After we finish college we moved in together here in Tokyo, but she still never change, she's still like to be by my side”
She said, I felt uneasy now, I don’t know why I’m feeling this way. I’m her friend I should be happy for her, But there’s something inside of me that want her to stop talking.
“I choose this lock and a key, because she is the key to my heart. My heart has been broken back then, so I kept it lock in deep within my heart, but I guess she found me and unlock my broken heart and fix it, I’m happy with her, and I don’t want to lose her”
Mayu said, while looking to the necklace, she gave a small little smile and that look that she used to give me, I felt time just stop when I look at her, she look so beautiful while looking at the necklace, but the same time I felt sad, and I don’t know why
“Yuki do you think she will like it?”
she ask me, I just nodded my head, and she smile at me
“Thank’s Yuki for accompanying me”
she said then kiss my cheek. And wave her hand to say goodbye, and go to her car
“Why I’m feeling this way?”
I asked myself while touching my cheeks and looking at her driving.

I made this chapter since some of you want Mayu and Yuki hangout but I guess I kinda field on that one
