^ the show above, ウワサとカガク / Uwasa to Kagaku (Rumours and Science) is over 40 minutes long, but is actually worth a watch.
The kids are divided in two teams- The rumour team and the science team, and then are measured in a series of performances.
First they try the tasks with no preparation, and then they go back to their team leaders and learn to improve their performance. The science team uses graphs, and evidence on how to improve, and the rumour team is more like folklore/common sense solutions, with a hint of comedy.
But what is amazing is how happy the kids are when they improve, especially the kids who felt like they were no good. The encouragement of their team mates and elder leaders was great.
Some bonus points:
. Ayano and Natsumi were adorable
. Reina was having a great time, and after her experience with 9th and 10th gen, she is really good with the chibi chilluns
. Misako Yasuda was one of the science team elders.
