CHAPTER 15 (Part 2): Baka Baka Mayu All the Way
Mayu POV
The irony amidst the sun battling with darkness with the cold breeze signalling the upcoming moonlight, I felt warmth as Yuki held me. “I wish we could stay like this, nee?” I turned my gaze on her and found out she was staring at me all along. She softly nodded.
“Nee Yukirin~ let’s make a bonfire!” I suggested as I put my hands together. As expected, in a split second she agreed. We hurriedly took our steps back to the residence to take all the stuff we needed.
“Marshmallows! Yadda~” I rejoiced as I saw a pack of marshmallows on the cabinet by the kitchen.
“What’s up with the marshmallows?” Yuki asked as she walked closer.
“mou~ I’ve been looking for marshmallows~ Tadda!“ I said happily as I shook the pack of candies on her face,
“Come~ hurry hurry! I wanna eat these by the bonfire!” I said as I dragged the poor Yuki back to the shoreline obliging with everything I do. Thank heavens it didn’t take a century for me and Yuki to light up the bonfire. Well actually, it was all Yuki’s hard work.
“Yadda~” salivating like a perverted-squirrel’s usual behaviour, as I happily watched how my marshmallows on a stick melt by the bonfire.
“nee Mayuyu~ it’s hot…be carefu~” Yuki stunned as she was a little too late with her statement cause I immediately swallowed the whole marshmallow on my mouth.
“AAHH! Ittai~ Ittai” as I spit out the unexpectedly burning hot melted-marshmallow. Yuki hastily went for me.
“tch, see? You burnt your lips..” She said as she carefully checked my burnt lip. I stared at her. She moved closer, and all of a sudden she licked my burnt lip. Startled by her impulsive move I retracted myself out of shame.
“woi~ what’s that for?” I pouted at her. She laughed at me.
“Eh?! Are you possessed now?! Is that really you Yukirin?!” I sarcastically said as I shook the demure Queen turned into a kissing-monster since last night by her shoulders.
“kawaaii~ Kawaaii Mayuyu-chan!” out of the blue she pulled me for a hug I hugged her back.
“Is it better now?” she asked me. Feeling really better as if I just received a magical potion, I softly nodded.
“Bakarin~”
Unfortunately, after my really stupid decisions. Yuki decided to do everything for me…
“Here~” as she blows the hot marshmallows on the stick before handing it to me. Feeling ashamed of my sudden stupidity, as I’m not used to it, I refused.
“EH?” she asked in shock. “I thought you really wanted marshmallows?” she moved closer trying to see my facial expression. I pouted even more.
“I don’t want marshmallows anymore, errm” I turned my back on her, and yes I was on tantrums.
“Ara~ ara~” she held my shoulder as she forced me to face her, she suddenly cupped my face and kissed me as boldly as how she did it the last time until I noticed she’s pressing a soft object on my mouth by her tongue, done doing so she broke the kiss and smiled at me.
“There! Eat Mayuyu~”
“HmHHm!!! Hmahf!!!” as I chew the warm soft object on my mouth, feeling light-headed already on the sudden consecutive advances of the unfamiliar Yuki in front of me.
*GULP“woi! Really? Are you okay Yukirin~?” as I climbed towards Yuki pressing the back of my hand on her forehead. Normal.
“eh? I’m not sick~” and once again she pulled me for a hug and rested her cheeks on my head. I just obliged and rested on her arms.
“It’s getting cold…let’s stay like this for a while~” she uttered.
“What’s up with you? I’m not dying….” I chuckled.
“I just feel like…..doing everything I wanna do with you today” she giggled.
“Baaaakaaa~RIN! You sounded like an old man there” I giggled.
When suddenly She pushed me against the sand and climbed on top of me..”Why not Mayuyu? Let’s do it here~” she muttered blankly.
She moved closer, with our lips almost touching, I grabbed her and instead I made my way on top of her.
“Whoa whoa Mayuyu! I was just kidding~”
“You didn’t seem like it though~” I raised my brow at the doubtful figure in front of me.
I moved towards her and planted a gentle kiss on her lips. “I love you, Yuki~” I laid on her, with my ear listening to a good music of her heart beating fast as ever.
“You don’t even have to say it…. I already knew the answer; your heart says it all the time, Yuki”“Come on~ let’s go back now, it’s freezing cold already” she suggested as we both gradually lifted our bodies up.
She ducked herself in front of me. “Hop” she smiled on me.
“nani~?”
“I’ll carry you~” she said as she tap her shoulders signalling me to hop on her back. I hopped on her back and hugged her tightly. Walking down the lane, I asked her “mou Yukirin~ what’s up for dinner?”
“EH?!” she turned her head facing me, so close to mine. Wearing my cyborg-face I just stared at her waiting for an answer when suddenly she avoided my stare and turned her eyes back in front.
“Not my problem Mayuyu… I have my dinner already~” she chuckled.
“Eh? What?”
“YOU”
“HUUH?!?! Bakaaarin~ baaakaaaarin!!! Ugh”

It was already past midnight and I still couldn’t seem to fall asleep. Maybe you could say I was vaguely in the middle of a good dream and a nightmare. I stared at the sleeping figure beside me.
“Yuki~ you seem having a good dream, aren’t you?”
I turned my back on her when suddenly I felt her moving closer and wrapped her arms around me. “Bakaa~ “I giggled.
“Can’t sleep?”
“Yeah” I uttered still facing my back on her. She tightened her hug.
“Tomorrow, we have to go~ so fast….”
“Yeah…it is”
“anou~ Mayuyu”
“nani?”
“Could you face me?”
“Why?” I turned my body to face her.
“Your hair is….. so distracting~” she giggled.
“WHAT?! Baakaaa baaakaaa stop teasing me!” I playfully pushed her back the teasing-monster.
“Ara~ ara~ enough enough, let’s sleep! SLEEP Mayuyu!” as she once again did her secret weapon, bear hugging me until I couldn’t move.
“Seriously?! Woi this is cheating! grrr”
“sssh~ I’m trying hard here~ SLEEP!”
“HMmhhHMmm!!!” once again my incomprehensible words as I struggle to free myself from the sudden bear hug. Determined enough I managed to roll over her until we both fell off the bed.
*BAAAAG“kya~ Ittai! Ittai!!!~ heavy Yuki…rin~” I uttered as Yuki actually fell on top of me.
“mou~ gomen gomen~” as she supported her weight by her arms on my sides. Alas~ another awkward position. It took us few seconds while staring to each other’s eyes to redeem our sanity.
“Tell me~ where it hurts….” She whispered. Unconsciously, my hand reached for something else… I held my lips.
“I see”
She moved closer and planted a tender kiss against my lips, feeling dizzy as she brushed her lips against mine I held her closer as she travelled her hand on my bare thighs which excited me once again, breaking the kiss “this one-piece pyjamas is handy~” she whispered.
I closed my eyes tightly feeling ashamed of her words, I buried my face on her shoulder “stop it Yuki~”
But instead of stopping, she made it worst and continued as she travelled her kisses from my jaw line, to the sensitive parts of my neck making me thrilled, “unn….unnn~” I bit my hand.
“Let me hear you~” she muttered between her kisses. I bit my hand even more. I was holding back my moans when suddenly I felt her hand slid inside my garment …
The sudden cold sensation made me yelp and made me bang my head on the table
*BAAG“AH! Ittai~ ittai~….. ITTAI!” as my brain recognized how painful it was every second.
“ahh~ Mayuyu are you okay?!” as Yuki attended my head as quickly as possible brushing my head to ease the pain even for a bit. With the sudden change of mood, we stared at each other and burst out in laughter. “What the~ hahaha!”
“Come here..” as she lifted her body up pulling me along, sitting on the cold floor. She pulled me for a hug.
“mou~ that was pretty funny~ kawaaii” she muttered. I pouted at her.
“BAKARIN~ it’s your fault!” as I gripped her top.
“Ara~ara~ Bakarin’s fault…sssshhh” still brushing my head. She then led me back to my much opposite bed, which was comfy and warm enough.
I snuggled closer to her as she pulled me even closer…
“Sing for me Yuki~” I murmured. She then began humming a song… a very much soothing one calming my untamed heart that made me doze off in a few.
“Goodnight Mayu”

Yuki POVI opened my eyes and saw the white ceiling glimmer as the ocean illuminates the morning sun. Rubbing my heavy eyes, I pat my side to check up on a certain figure. Nothing…. I carefully scanned the room and found out I was alone. Feeling alarmed by the sudden absence of her I walked out the room and looked for her to wherever she might be.
No sign of Mayu at all.
I checked up my phone to see if she has sent me a note and found out nothing. Feeling paranoid enough, I dialled her number unfortunately she wasn’t answering.
“Mayu~ where are you? Don’t do this…it’s not funny at all…” I thought as I got irritated while closing my phone, I once again scanned the whole area hoping I might see her wandering around. Again, No Mayu.
I started thinking she left already; just thinking of that made me feel numb, for the first time I was lost for any reaction thinking it was all a bad dream…. Tears began to fall from eyes staring at the plain view. When suddenly….
*BOOOO!I was startled by the sudden presence and found out it was Mayu. Dumbfounded by my sobbing face she asked me..
“mou~ Yukirin what happened why are you crying?” as she wipes my tears on my face.
“Where the hell were you?! I was calling you; you didn’t even pick it up?! I thought… I thought~” stuttering as I was unable to finish my statement.
“I left you….?” She asked me.
“Yes!”
“mou~ I left my phone inside my room…”
I was mad at myself thinking about it. …
Happy because it didn’t happen…
Afraid it might happen....
Controlling all my emotions I turned my back on her and went ahead taking my heavy steps leaving her alone. She was stoned on her feet. I went inside the house and threw myself on the sofa covering my swollen eyes with my arm. I heard the door opening….
“Yukirin~”
I felt her weight beside me.
“I was making these…” she whispered.
I opened my eyes and saw a necklace hanging by her hand. It was a silver necklace with a lunar-shaped pendant.
“Look!” she happily took off the bracelet I gave her and showed me an unfamiliar new design on it. It was a Sun-shaped design. She carefully held the two figures and pressed it together…
“Look…”
*click Witnessing the magic-like activity; I realized it was a couple pendant. The moon-shaped pendant was attached inside the circular sun. She detached the two and moved closer on me.
“I think the moon suits you better Yuki~” she smiled staring at the necklace.
“Why?” I asked her as she let out sigh thinking for an answer.
“I guess, I always feel you’re watching me at night, I feel safe” she turned on me and smiled.
“I’ll help you wear it~”
“I’m sorry…..” I muttered.
“It’s fine…it’s my fault anyway” she said as she put on the necklace on me. Afterwards, it was me once again who put the bracelet on her wrist.
“I was… I was afraid just thinking of you not at my side…” I looked down and felt my eyes starting to moist once again. She stood up and jumped on my lap facing me. She cupped my face and stared at me.
“Don’t cry Yukirin~ I’m still here~” as she buried her face on my shoulder.
“Still~?”
“Mayu, do you know…..the moon won’t shine at night without its sun?” ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
