As decided... I'll just continue this story, since an epilogue is a bit well... difficult
I'll put that up when get bored with thisAgain… Sorry for every typo, wrong grammar, etc. that you’ll encounter/see/points out while reading this.

Chapter 5It's been several days since the "unfortunate event" of Mayu being cursed and transformed into rabbit. Life was back to normal routine; the usual house chore and occasional errands to do for the shrine.
About the curse and what triggers for the curse to take effect?
They didn't know and Mayu certainly didn't care about it anymore. They assumed that the curse was finally lifted and only Yuki (and Mayu... Yuki has no idea that Mayu knows) knows the 'supposed cure' to the curse.
"Hey! Mayu?" Yuki fiddles with the sleeves of her Miko uniform, a typical white haori and red hakama. "Why do you want to be a doctor?"
Mayu, who keep himself with his preparation for his medical residency training in the nearby hospital, looks at Yuki. "I guess... I want to help people." He said, "I can't stop death but at least I can let dying people live longer." A sad smile was seen, but was gone in a second, "and the pay is great too." Mayu laughs.
"Ohh..." Yuki's a bit speechless at what Mayu had told her. She looks at the clock and quickly stands up, "I have to go to the shrine now!" She mutters a quick apology to Mayu and rush out of the house.
Mayu shakes his head and started to review his notes from his Med school years.

Hours later-
'
It's already late... I wonder if Yuki's still in the shrine.' Mayu wonders, stretching a bit. He decided to go to the shrine and make sure that Yuki doesn't work herself too much. One mannerism of Yuki that he noticed during their time together is that whenever Yuki is working, she has this tendency to completely focus on her work and ignore anything that isn't a part of it.
Mayu entered the small office located in the shrine vicinity and saw Yuki hunched over a pile of paper work. As he expected, Yuki did not acknowledge his presence even when he was walking to where the Miko is and paused directly besides her.
'
This girl...' Mayu let out a sigh, '
Should I admire her work ethics or not.'
Mayu frown changed into a fond smile and leans his head besides Yuki's to peek over her shoulder. "Hmmm... Shrines do keep their own account logs." He noted, tilting his head a bit to look at Yuki.
"Huh?" Yuki turns her head to the face Mayu, but was frozen in shock when she realized that her lips brushed against his.
Mayu blushed in deep red, but quickly regains his composure, "S-sorry... I shouldn't have lean so close to you and... and..." he was muttering apologies and excuses, while bowing several times. "I'm really sorry."
"Mayu." Yuki smiles, and holds Mayu's shoulder to stop him for bowing repeatedly.
'
This is bad.' Mayu broke out into cold sweat when he saw Yuki's sickly sweet smile. All he knows is that Yuki's not grateful for the kiss and that he might not see tomorrow. '
Dear Kami-sama... I'm sorry for all the sins that I have done.' He cried mentally.
Yuki's smile widens and swiftly delivers a well-calculated knee strike to Mayu's gut, then walk out of the office.
'
Uuuuuuh...' Mayu writhes. He rolls on the floor in an attempt to lessen the pain. '
She kneed me... hard… Ooooowww.' He groans some more, but the blush on his face didn't disappear. '
But wow...' He grins, remembering the brief kiss, even when he was writhing in pain. "What are you thinking Mayu! Stop grinning over some kiss. You must resist!" He scolds himself.
Meanwhile, Yuki stops outside of the office and covers her face with her hands, “I kneed him…" she murmured, blushing hard. "And he apologized to me too... I'm sure that he didn't mean for it to happen. But still..." The Miko keeps on muttering to herself, while the shade of reds in her cheeks darkens. "I should apologize. I'm sure that hurts..."
"Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!" a bloodcurdling scream was heard from inside.
"Mayu!" Yuki rushed inside the office again. '
Did I hit him that hard?' She cringed, '
Eh? Where's Mayu?' The Miko looks around for the soon-to-be-doctor. "Mayu?"
"Here." Mayu replied behind the table.
"Then stand up." Yuki said, walking near the table. She tiptoed to look over the table but she couldn't see Mayu's shadow or silhouette. "I can't see you Mayu." Yuki furrows her brows. She's worried about Mayu, but she's getting scared. She can’t see Mayu, yet she can clearly hear his voice.
"I'm here." Mayu said again. "I'm right in front of you."
"Don't joke like that Mayu!" Yuki fidgets with end of her haori sleeves and looks around a bit more. "I really can't see you."
"I told you I'm here."
Yuki felt something furry taps her leg part and looks down to see the same strawberry blonde bunny from the accursed event that she wants to forget. "Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa!" She quickly kicks the bunny off her feet and it slams to the nearby wall.
"... Hurts..." The bunny groans, "It hurts... You could have just shoo-ed me away gently."
"Sorry!" Yuki apologized, "My reflexes against rabbits kicked in."
"I don't know if I'll cry because of pain or because of the fact that I'm back to this form." Mayu drones sadly, still lying on his side. '
Whatever did I do wrong in this lifetime?' He asked himself, '
except for kissing Yuki... That's not even intentional. Wait... I'm not even kissing her. That was just an accidental touch on the lips.'
"Mayu?"
"I'm not fine... My body hurts... and I'm a rabbit again..." Mayu keeps on muttering, and then pushed himself up from the floor, "S**t!!!! My residency training starts tomorrow!" the rabbit cries in horror, recalling his residency training. "Yuki! I have to go back to my human form!!!!"
"But how?!"
"Kiss me!"
"No way!!!"
"The kiss must have something to do with this!!!" Mayu cried.
"Ugh... How did you even arrive to that conclusion?" Yuki paused, looking away, “This Is the first time I “
accidentally” kissed you!” She’s a liar. She knew it, but there’s no way in hell that she’ll confess about their really first kiss. Mayu gave her a piercing stare. Yuki finally concedes, "Fine! But..."
"But?"
"Turn off the lights." Yuki said. The blush on her cheeks became more apparent.
"Fine... You'll have to do that and kindly lift me to the table... GENTLY! No throwing me or slamming me around like I’m the most disgusting animal!" Mayu warns Yuki.
Yuki lifts Mayu and puts him on the table, and then she turns off the lights. Yuki gulps as her heart beats faster. Even when the darkness hides her red face, the Miko couldn't help but feel nervous. She touched the rabbit's silhouette, "Mayu... Ready?"
"Uh... Yeah." He gulps. '
I hope this will work.'
Yuki made the kiss swift and brief like the previous one when Mayu was a rabbit last time. "There" Yuki quickly pulled away from the rabbit. "So what now?"
"Hmmm..." Mayu frowns. There's no usual chest pain or him having hard time to breathe. No fast heartbeat too. They waited for some minutes to the kiss to take effect. No reaction or anything was felt. "Something's wrong..." Mayu cringed, "There's no reaction! I'm not changing at all." The rabbit cried.
"I'll call Sayaka!" Yuki scrabbles in the dark to the office's phone and calls Sayaka.

Moments Later-
"I see... So the curse is not lifted, huh..." Sayaka trails off, thinking about what had happened coming from their accounts. "The kiss didn't work..."
"Oh! You two kissed?!" Sae teased the two.
"Why are you here anyway?" the annoyed bunny frowns at Sae.
"Now. Now. Mr. Cute lil' bunny should relax and smile." Sae smiles, poking at the rabbit's wrinkled brows, "You look constipated if you frown like that... And, honestly, that doesn't really look cute at all." He dramatically shakes his head.
Mayu sees his chance and bite Sae's finger. He's frown morphed into a smug evil grin when Sae yelps in pain. "Heh. Serves you right." But his head is hit by a folded newspaper seconds after he bites Sae finger.
"You two. Behave." Yuki scolds them, "Please act like mature adults that you are suppose to be."
Sayaka sighs, "Anyway... I think the kiss doesn't have anything to do with the curse if it didn't trigger nor lift it." She brings back the topic about Mayu's curse.
"Then why did Mayu turned back after I kissed him the last time?" Yuki asked but mumbles the kiss part of the question.
"Coincidence maybe?" Sayaka shrugs, "or maybe the timing of the kiss was just right by the time the real trigger is happening? We don't know."
"Someone knows." Mayu butts in.
"Who?" Sayaka asked, while Yuki lifts a brow.
"Whatever or whoever's sealed in the box." Mayu huffed, "that's the start of everything!"
"I thought you firmly said that you don't believe curses?" Yuki asked.
"I don't!" Mayu replied. "Practically speaking, whatever causes this should know how to end it."
"But it's a malevolent spirit." Yuki shakes her head. "We can't afford to unseal it. We might not be able to seal it back."
"We can set some safety parameter." Sayaka suggested and then turns to Sae, "Sae please get some items we use against evil spirits and demons and as well as items for sealing."
"Okay!" Sae rush off to get the need items.
"Yuki. Let's set the seal parameters." Sayaka pats Yuki's shoulder.
"But..." Yuki looks worried about what they are about to do, "Fine... Let me get the Hama Yumi and Hama Ya (the "Evil-Destroying Bow and Arrow"). Just in case something goes wrong." Yuki went out to retrieve their Family's heirlooms, the bow and arrow that can destroy evil spirits.
"What's Hama Yumi and Hama Ya?" Mayu asked Sayaka as she lifts up the rabbit and walks towards the Shrine's storage for sealed spirits/item.
"Well... Hama Yumi is a sacred bow that was said to be used by an archer, Yorimasu Minamoto, to vanquish the evil spirit that had taken over the Imperial Palace during 1103 C.E." Sayaka told Mayu a brief history about the sacred bow of the Kashiwagi clan. "But of course, what they have is a replica of the original Hama Yumi... It still has the ability to vanquish evil, so don't worry."
"Everything seems to defy reality with you guys." Mayu said, "It seems surreal."
"Like I told you some things just can't explain by science, geek boy." Sayaka laughs, "You should start to cope up with it since you live with Yuki."
"For now." Mayu added.
Sayaka chuckles, "For now." She pats the rabbits head and puts him down near the storage room. She, then, begins to scribbles weird signs and characters around the area until she created a huge magic circle.
'
Oooh..' Mayu grins to himself, '
looks something like from the anime.' He may not look like the stereotyped anime otaku but he's proud to be one. '
Now that I think about it... It feels like my life is trapped in some weird anime plot-line.'
"I'm ready!" Sayaka grins, patting the dirt away from her hands.
"Me too." Yuki added as she stops besides Sayaka, hold her Hama Yomi and the divine arrows. "And Sae?"
"Here!" Sae waves his hand with a huge duffle bag in another. "Shall we start?"
Sayaka nodded at Yuki. Yuki got the cue and get the box from the storage and place it in the center of the circle and then thrust four divines arrows; one each in north, south, east and west. Sayaka inhaled deeply and started to form several Kuji-in with accompanying mantras for sealing. The magic circle begins to glow as Sayaka continues her chants. "I've raised the barrier."
Yuki ripped off the Ofuda that had been keeping the box sealed for hundreds of years. She grips her bow when a dark mass of cloud leaves the box. "Ku ku ku ku" A deep gruff voices chuckles, "You brats... You have guts to unseal me."
"We want to know how to lift Mayu's curse!" Yuki told the dark entity.
"Oooooh? The rabbit?" It asked, leering at the Miko. "Let see..." A part of the dark mass of cloud surrounds Yuki.
"Kyaaaa!" Yuki yelps and stabs the dark cloud with her divine arrow. However, the cloud doesn't seem to be affected by the attack. "You groped me!" Yuki hissed.
"Oho~ You're 76B!" It chuckles in delight, still leering at Yuki but this time it's focusing on her chest part. "Three sizes are 76-54-81~" It singsoned, "That's one fine butt~"

What in the name of Kami-sama was sealed in that box?’ Sayaka, Sae and Mayu asked mentally, ‘
A pervert?’ They thought at the same time.
"Let Yuki go!!!" Mayu demanded, "And take this curse off me!"
"As you wish~" the evil entity looks at the glaring rabbit.

poof*
The rabbit, to its delight, transformed back to its human form. "I'm human again!!!!" Mayu looks at "
his" hands. '
But something's wrong in here...'
"Heheheh" the entity just snickers while Sayaka, Sae and Yuki just stared at Mayu. They didn't want to spoil the soon-to-be-doctor's happy mode but...
"Uh... Mayu..." Sayaka started, "Your chest." she pointed out carefully.
"What about it?" Mayu touch "his" chest. Soft. He groped a bit more. Sh*t. He quickly moves his hands to his crotch. Double sh*t. His became pale when he comprehends what had happened.
"You're back... But..." Sae trailed off, "You're a girl Mayu."
"Wha- NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Mayu fell on her knees.
The dark entity laughs, "You looks cute, though~ I wonder what's your sizes~"
Mayu scowls and covers her chest. "I'll kill you if you try to do what I'm thinking that you're going to try!"
"Oooh~ don't worry~" It cooed, "I will be gentle~" Suddenly, a lightning destroys Sayaka's barrier and struck the dark entity. "Gaaaah!"
Sae drags Mayu and Yuki to where Sayaka is. "What happened?! Where did that lightning came from? Is it still alive?" Sae panics.
When the smoke dissipates, they saw a petite figure of a woman. "Who's that?!" Sae mutters from behind of Sayaka, while Mayu pokes the woman with a stick she had found on the ground.
"Sorry for the problems she had caused." A female voice apologized as a stunning tall woman came out of the shadow. "I'm afraid that I'm partly to blame for all of these unfortunate events."
Yuki shakes a bit, "Ya-yama no Kami?!" She bows respectfully, her voice trembles as she greets their shrine's guardian Kami. "It's a pleasure to have you here."
"It's fine Yuki-chan." Yama no Kami smiles, "Anyway... Sorry again for what this trickster had done. She's originally a Yama no Kami like me... But well as you see, she likes fooling around and is a big pervert." The goddess tells them about how the mischievous goddess molested her almost every day until the time that she was force to punish the petite goddess by sending her to human world. However, the mischievous goddess keeps on fooling around the human world until several Shinto and Buddhist priest (Yuki and Sayaka's ancestors) proclaimed that she was an evil spirit and was sealed for hundred years. "I was glad that she was sealed..." The goddess giggles, "Saves me some trouble there... but now..."
"What now?" Mayu asked, "She cursed me!!!"
"I can't lift the curse sorry." The goddess smiles sadly, "but for her punishment. Again. She'll stay in here. Please Take care of her. Don't worry I sealed of some of her powers."
“Whaaaaat?!”
The goddess in question finally regains consciousness. "Nyan Nyan~" she squealed trying to grope the other goddess chest, "I miss you!" She cried.
"Hush you!" '
Nyan Nyan' gives the groping goddess' head a chop using her fan. "You're forbidden to see me! And you'll stay and help them. HELP AROUND THE SHRINE AND BE USEFUL!" She scolded her, "I’ll check up on you from time to time!"
"Aaaaaw... Buuuut Nyan Nyaaaaaan." The goddesss whines.
Yama no Kami huffs and vanish from there sight.
"So?" The four humans asked the goddess.
"Can't disobey her..." She smiles, "I'll be in your care from this day onwards."
"You need a name." Sayaka said.
"How about Oshima Yuko?" Yuki suggested. They turned to the fallen goddess.
"Then call me Yuko!" Yuko grins.
"Oi! Oi!" Mayu cuts in the goddess' gleeful greeting, "I'm not back to normal! I have work tomorrow!"
"Ah." Yuko rubs her head, "You heard Nyan Nyan... She sealed off most of my powers soooo... I really can help you with that." She laughs.
"What in the-" Mayu stops herself from cursing the accursed goddess. "I'm going to strangle that life out of you!!" She yelled.
"Wa-wait!" Yuko stops Mayu, "Try this... *
whisper* *
whisper*" Mayu's face go beet red in a second and-
*
poof*
And he's back to normal.
"See!" Yuko pats Mayu's back, "Just keep that in mind and everything will go back to normal! Of course the curse isn't lifted." She laughs again.
Mayu groans. He was thankful that he's back to his original gender but he's sure that with the appearance of this unwanted and troublesome roommate... His future is in for a big disaster. '
I want my peaceful life back' he weeps internally.
Done...
Next Chapter... I don't know if I'll go with other character scenario or Yuko doing something troublesome... Oh well. Come what may.
