What Anime Are You Watching Now?

Saint Seiya Omega is awful. So awful that I have to talk/warn about it.
The scenes/lines are corny and boring. It doesn't have any of the flame from the original series that had cloth destroying fights, blood and enemies with sorrowful backstories.
The art direction makes me think they got the guys that did the Powerpuff Girls or the new Yu Gi Oh to do it.
Even the saint cloth looks off, not metalic at all and not having the intricacies of the original design.
Other than the opening song, that they kept using the original, I have no love for this show.

To me, it's like the American Dragon Ball movie of the Japanese anime series. And it'll need to do something crazy good to get me to watch it again.
I hope the Hades OVA comes back soon. Or they start up the heaven arc again.

that's when I started checking Toriko and now I'm hooked...

Kuroko no Basuke - This is like the closest anything has gone to Slam Dunk's level and feel. Really good.

Ginga e Kickoff!! - At last, I can stop watching Area no Kishi and watch this instead, I was starting to die from all the drama and the little action.
Ginga is alot like the early years of Captain Tsubasa. And it has way more scenes than Area, actually showing people moving and kicking a ball.

Checking the new shows. Most interested down:

Binbogami ga! (ep01) -
This is like the funniest thing ever. Super lucky, hot, rich girl vs a god of misfortune. I laughed all through this one.
Just look at the title of ep01 "You may be a God, but aren't you more like the God of Flatness than the God of Misfortune?"

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse (ep01-02) -
Ep01 - Boring/generic schoolgirls in tightsuits learning to pilot mechs to fight aliens. yawn~~
Which turns to...
Ep02 -  Robots with alien blood all over them!!! kill EVERYTHING!!! Flying mechs run for your lives! Shoot! scary crawly Aliens scene!! NOOOO!!!
Friggin intense pacing plus unexpectedly high main cast death count. Yeah. I liked episode 2 much more too.

Sword Art Online (ep01) -
VR gaming gone bad making a nice platform to build the story on.
Visuals, entertaining and game-elements-wise, I still like Accel World more though. Maybe because AW kept it simple and didn't explain all the basics to viewers like SAO did.
I hope it'll get better as more characters join and the story unfolds.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita (ep01-02) -
For such a cutesy art style, the story sure is adult-themed and makes us reflect on our current society.
{spoiler} I'll probably have nightmares tonight of that bread factory scene with the bread ripping itself open and spurting carrot juice

Campione! (ep01) -
Shakugan no Shana!  Well, that and some mythology here and there.
Guy with a tablet, stealing God powers to defeat them. A lot of generic stuff seen before lots of times, dunno if that'll hurt it in the long-run.
This one may turn out really awesome or really bad.

The Ambition of Oda Nobuna (ep01) -
Alternate history with cute little girls. I'm kinda bored of this genre, and I haven't even watched other anime from this genre.
Well, there's still the cute girls.

La storia della Arcana Famiglia (ep01-02) -
It's only at ep02 and they're already straying off the main arcane-tournament story and doing kitten-helping side-stories... I'm probably gonna skip this one.
The characters still look great in suits. I call it the Turks fetish.

Code Geass - Akito the Exiled ep01 is out. Go watch it!
The story is like Gundam W, but not as boring. With the japanese losing their country, labeled as 11's and despised by everyone.
Mech fights felt refreshing. And all the current-techy stuff was a nice touch (like CG windows changing scenery and the face recog).

Robotics;Notes (ep01) -
Wonder how a story as innocent as a giant-robo building club will turn into something as crazy as Chaos Head and Steins Gate.

Jormungand Perfect Order (ep01) -
Really liked the first season. Looks like they're gonna show more of Koko's past.

Zetsuen no Tempest - The Civilization Blaster (ep01-02) -
Two guys looking into the mystery death of one of the boys' sister get thrown into a magic-user war.
The story has the 2 guys being helped by a powerful princess magic-user who's exiled on an island. Giving them talismans to temporarily use magic andtake on the real magic users that exiled her. It's pretty interesting. With the friendship/family emotions put into the characters.

K (ep01-02) -
Positive main chara is chased for being the 7th King and murdering a gang member. Gang wants revenge with them and other groups using psi skills and swords, even though its the future.
Setting reminds me of X. While the great cinematic look feels a little like [C]. LOL, they're all letters!!

Psycho-Pass (ep01) -
In the future, they put chips in ppl, and measure their chance of committing crimes. Cops get fugitives as hunters, to catch the ppl who's chip says their crime chance % is too high. Using programmed guns that detect the threat, then change to paralyze or kill mode.
It's theme is pretty mature. Reminding me a lot of the classic anime I rented 10-15 years ago. Some cliche cop characters, a sex scene, guns, and ppls bodies blowing up. This type of show seemed to get English translations a lot more back in the days.

Code:Breaker (ep01-02) -
Mysterious transfer student with a hand that burns ppl to death with blue flames. Not very original. It's still an ok watch so far.

Btooom! (ep01-02) -
A top-player guy for an online Bomberman game getting kidnapped and forced to play the game for real on an island.
The main guy's lines feel sooo flat. But the theme is interesting.

Girls und Panzer (ep01) -
Kid girls driving tanks to battle for a competition. I have not heard of a high-school with tank-driving as an after-school activity.
