The raging sandstorm calmed, returned to where they came. Vision started to grow clear, Jurina knew this face under the hood. The dark elf showed the figure a smile then they headed to a place together. Across the desert to a broken city where no one would like to visit. It was a place for the deserters, traitors and rapist.
They walked into a street where building that made out of mud and sand stood in lines, fragile but this is enough for merchant to sell their goods. Those people, all in rag cloak, having their own activity. Where they get near, they stood aside or stepped backwards to let them passed first. Together, they walked into a tavern, and Jurina came out alone without her friend. Jurina ran toward the direction she came.

“nggg...herh…” Rena panting, sprinting. While Minegishi was on her tail, following.
“We...We should be safe after this far.” Minegishi can’t run anymore, her lung was running out of supply.
“I d...don’t think so” Rena still running. “she is as light as dust, I trust that she can travel this far without any effort.”
“J-Just stop here, I can’t run anymore” Minegishi leaned her shoulder against a tree, grasping for air.
“No, not here. At..least..” Rena noticed a swarm of dark particles was closing in not far from them “run!”
She get her feet operated again, but the efficiencies and cost were increased drastically already. She was slowing down behind Rena. The swarm of dust was like predator, chasing them, nearer and nearer for each step they took. Rena saw the tired Minegishi was getting further and further. She ran into her direction in intention to protect her.
“You can run, but you can’t hide” it echoed through the forest.
At the same time, Rena and Kasai was approaching Minegishi, but Kasai got her first. Minegishi staggered, the dust pierced through her chest from the back. Rena’s eyes widened, her feet stopped. Kasai’s human form was appeared as the dust gathered behind the falling Minegishi.
Kasai grabbed her from the back as she was losing conscious. Rena frowned, staring at her angrily while planning to rescue the bleeding Minegishi.
“Let her go” Rena shouted, standing not far from them.
“Queen’s order.” Kasai let her back leaned against her body “you are not my target. Stay away from us before I change my mind.”
“Please, I beg you.” Rena’s fist was tightening.
A flash of light cut into eyes of Rena under the moonlight, there is a blade in the hand of Kasai. She swung across Minegishi’s throat. A red line was painted on her neck, blood spilt out like a fountain from the gap. The knee down first, then the body. While the head still at her hand, removed from it’s shoulder. With shock and pain, the lower part was still dripping, colouring the ground beneath it.
Rena knew she could do nothing about it, staring at the beheaded body, lying motionlessly on the mud. She didn’t do anything, turned her back against her enemy, ready to run away from her. Rena’s jaw dropped, she felt something inside her stomach, she looked down. The tip of blade sticked out from her stomach, blood still dripping at the edge of it.
“Rest in peace” Kasai whispered in her ears. Then pulled the blade out. Rena lose her feet and conscious then black out.

“This way.” Mayu pointed to a road.
“Do you think Kanon still alive?” Yuki was at her tail.
“I believe them wouldn’t kill her.” Mayu leading the way in the dark.
“I would like to think in positive way, but they are witches. They will just eat her to feed their magic.” Yuki shook her head and a sign of grieve was wore on her face.
“We should trust her, she’ll be alright. Those witches must have some ceremony first before they feast on her. This will make us some time.” Mayu started to sprint as she noticed something was on their back.
“Alright.” Yuki followed as she noticed what Mayu was alerted of.
They travelled across the woods, with silence and swift. Wind whispered in their ears, as they sprinting with haste. Yuki tossed a look at Mayu, asking her whether they were in the right direction or not. Mayu nodded. With leap and run, they were faster and any beast in the forest. Unless the ancient silver wolf was behind them, the natural runner where only Jurina can matched with their speed and strength.
Yuki sensed more pursuers behind them, in peace or evil. They did not know. One thing they can do was waiting for their next move. Awaiting their pursuers to reveal their intentions, waiting them to take the bait. Mayu noticed that too, they kept heading toward a direction, where Mayu was following the trail of witches. She remembered the scent of their rags. Full of rotten and evil smells, only can found on a witch.
Behind them, Mayu smelled no witch. So she assumed it was some kind of beast or human.
“They didn’t attack us, perhaps they are not here for us.” Yuki stopped.
“Yu...Yuki” Mayu can’t react to her sudden cease, she ran over then came back beside Yuki “We should question them about their intentions.”
They stood still to wait their pursuers to arrive, heavy footsteps were growing loud. Not far from them, one man in iron helmet appeared and ran past them. Second and third then fourth, until the fifth, who ran directly at them. Yuki knew something at that moment, they were being chase by something.
“Witch” Mayu whispered.
The man rammed onto left shoulder of Yuki and fell onto the ground, while Yuki stood like a giant on her ground. She crouched a little to gather momentum on her leg. Then, erupted. She leaped toward the oncoming witch who riding on her broom. Before she could react to Yuki’s attack, like a missile, Yuki’s fist sunk into her face then exploded. Her body crashed into a tree with the broom while her head fell onto the ground in pieces.
The man witnessed the scene, grasping for air. He could hardly get his feet on after everything happened in front of his eyes. He was laying on the ground, staring at Yuki.
“Yukiiii….” Mayu walked towards her “You are making yourself dirty.”
“Perhaps I should be more careful next time, it’s a mess” Yuki clenched her fist and released.
“Hey, over there.” Mayu casted her look at the man on ground.
His mind was blank for a while, then regain his sane “Y..Yes.”
“Why did she chased you?” Mayu questioned.
“W..We are witch hunter, but this one was too powerful” He stared at the vague meats on the ground “But that girl over there killed her with bare hands. We thought only fire can kill them.”
“Ohh...witch hunter, this is a dangerous and no pay job. I suggest you to find something else to do.” Yuki gave him an advice.
“No, witches are hiding all around the world, We will get pay after finishing the local witches.” the man’s breathing was calming down, the instability was gone.
“Do you know where is their lair?” Yuki hoped that he would provide useful information.
“We found their lair, but she sensed our presence. And we ended up here.” he pointed at the body with a broom beside it.
“Hey, raise your hand!” a rough voice came from their left “make sure we can see it.”
Two man with their crossbow aiming came out from the wood on their left. Then followed with another two from their right. All with their crossbow loaded.
“Richard, are you alright?” a man with beard said.
Before he could say anything, a man with iron helmet charged his crossbow forward “Hands up! Make sure we see your hand without wand! Or there would be a silver bolt sticks right at your forehead!”
“Don’t talk so much to the witch. Just launched your bolt.” the beard man said.
“No!” said by the man that was still on the ground.
“Richard, do not get cheat by their foul magic!” the iron helmet man said.
“They just saved my life!” he shouted to prevent conflict from happening “look at the headless body over there, they killed her.”
The beard man held his crossbow tighter, his palms were sweating. He leaned his head aside to look over Yuki’s shoulder. A body laid under a tree, twisted and headless, with a broom beside it. He casted a look of hesitation at his companions.
“Trust me Ben! She did that!” he slowly get on his feet, unsteady then regained his balance “lower your weapons please.”
They looked at each other, still aware of the situation. Then one started to lower, and others followed.
“Well, finally someone starts to become more rational” Yuki cleansed the blood on her hand by rubbing it on her leather pant “Can you guys take us to their lair?”
“That would be too dangerous, they are more powerful at night.” a girl took off her iron helmet, revealing her golden ponytail “I scouted the place this evening and this one came to chased us. Far more powerful, fended off our silver bolt, avoiding our traps, we don’t even have a chance to get near to her”
“Do you observed anything unusual?” Yuki tended to find out more.
“As usual, they capture human to feed their black magic.” the iron helmet man spoken “the ceremony will be held moments later. This will give us element of surprise, then we can kill them all at once.”
“Let’s hope we found the right lair.” Yuki whispered to herself.
“Guide us there now. Our friend has been captured by a witch, we need to get to her before they feast on her.” Mayu broke her silence.
“Aye, follow us.” the beard man threw a crossbow at Richard “Richard, grabs your bow. We need your deadly accuracy.”
The party crossed a river, through the river to a cave, where fire was dancing on the wall. Laughters of evil echoed across the cave where they can heard it clearly from the outside. On top of the entrance, there sat a witch, biting her own nails, swinging her legs back and forth.
They were hiding themselves behind huge rocks and trees not far from the cave.
“I will get her.” the iron helmet girl raised her bow over the rock, aiming for her head. She closed an eye while another looking at the crosshair. The trigger snapped, a silver bolt launched into the air. It whizzed across the wind, flew directly into her forehead. The bone whispered, cracked. Her back fell onto the waving high grass behind her, and her legs stayed hanging.
“Stay behind us, cover our back.” beard man ordered “we will take the lead, move as silent as possible.”
“Why I can’t smell them?” Mayu tapped on Yuki’s shoulder from behind.
“I guess them set up a field spell to prevent hide their lair carefully.” Yuki crouching, staring at the entrance.
The beard man gave a signal, he waved his hand, asking them to followed him. They stayed low, ran toward the entrance. They had their back against the wall beside the entrance, the beard man leaned his head to peep into to the cave. Nothing, but dancing fire. A rotten smell can be sensed right now. The witch hunters pulled their scarf up to cover their nose. While Mayu and Yuki were not covering their nose, they were not afraid of that foul smell.
They leaned their back against the rocky wall, moving deeper into the heart of their lair. After they passed through a corner, a pile of fire was set on the middle of the chamber. Three witches were gathering around the fire, sitting side by side.
“Our sister just imported high class ingredient….” she hissed and giggled vigorously.
“Tonight, our magic will become stronger than before, thanks to that girl.” another laughed.
“Yes...we wi…” her words stuck in her throat, lower jaw was hanging. Her eyes widened, a tip of silver object was sticked out of her forehead, blood was running down between her eyes then to the cheek.
Her companies were shocked, they stood up with their wands, casted their attentions at the source of the bolt. Two girl were came out from their cover, walking toward them. While other watching from behind the wall.
“Bare hands? You will pay for your arrogance.” a witch thrusted her wand at Yuki. A green fire ball projectile was flying toward her. She didn’t dodge. Just at the moment before the magic hit her, dust raised from the ground she was. Yuki disappeared, the projectile hit the wall and caused a small explosion. The witch hunters braced themselves as it exploded. No one was hurt.
“Little tricks won’t save you” the witch getting nervous as her enemy has disappeared. She searched Yuki left and right, not in the range of her sight.
“Here” she heard someone whispered from behind. Then she felt something strange, things she was seeing was rotating. The witch’s head fell onto the floor and Yuki crashed it with her boot.
“You…” another witch turn her wand against Yuki. Then she frowned, Mayu was grabbing her wand, she can’t cast her magic now. Not even move her hand. She waved another fist at Mayu cheek, it hit. But Mayu smiled, the punch costed her no harm. She clenched the witch’s shoulder with another hand and smirked.
“S...Stop that. I will be your slave! Service you!” She tried to pulled off Mayu’s clench on her shoulder, struggling. Mayu casted a little effort, her arm was ripped from her shoulder. The witch released a scream of terror, stepping backward. A silver bolt at her neck silent her.
“Mayu, you made a big mistake.” Yuki frowned.
“What?” Mayu threw away the witch’s arm.
“You have alerted our enemy.” Yuki scolded her.
“So what, we will kill them, one by one” Mayu argued, even though she knew she was wrong.
“We don’t want to risk Kanon’s life, and others survivors’ life. Do you understand that?” Yuki tried to reason with her.
Mayu didn’t say anything to fight back, she sprinted deeper into the cave alone. Yuki saw that and went behind her. The witch hunter party still stayed in their cover, didn’t know what was happening between them. They were too fast until the witches in the caves was unable to capture their image with their bare eyes.
Mayu found a room without anyone noticed her, while some witches ready to welcome their foes after they heard the scream. Yuki stood behind her, observing the room that Mayu found. At the end of it, they saw someone they recognize. Kanon was behind the iron bars, sitting on the ground that full of hay, staring at them.
They looked left and right, all of the prisoners was staring blankly on the ground. Mayu grabbed two of the iron bars, she pulled them in opposite direction, opened a wide gap on the cell.
“Kanon, let’s go” Mayu offered her hand to the Kanon that stared at her.
“...”
“We have not much time before the witches notice our presence.” Mayu stepped into the cell, shook her.
“...”
“What happened?” Yuki crouched and caressed her face.
Kanon didn’t react, no soul can be seen in her eyes. She just stared blankly at them when they were talking.
“Mayu…” Yuki shook her head with grieve.
“Yuki, what happened to her?” tears were producing by Mayu’s eyes.
“They took her soul, let’s end this. We don’t want to see Kanon like this.” Yuki drew out the ghost from the sheath hanging on her back. “Her lady would like to be together with her.”
Mayu nodded. Yuki thrusted the sword right into her heart.
“Argghh!!” Mayuki were shocked. The soulless Kanon regained her consciousness. Yuki quickly pulled out the sword, the wound slowly merged together perfectly without any scar.
“I...I saw her.” Kanon was panting, coughing.
“Who?” Mayu touched her chest, where the sword was sent just now. She felt no wound under the garment, but wetness caused by the blood.
“Anna” Her eyes widened “We talked a lot, she guided me back to my body.” Kanon explained.
“It’s a miracle, thanks to this sword.” Yuki observed the sword and sheathed it.
“Before I fainted, they ran some ceremony and casted some spell on me.” Kanon clenched her fists and released to feel her body.
“Let’s go now. We have no more time to waste.” Mayu grabbed her hand.
They ran toward the exit, Kanon stood behind them. They found five witches were spamming their spell at the witch hunters who stayed behind their cover. Mayu gave a signal, held Kanon back away from her. She took a deep breath and her chest grew crimson. Then Mayu released her breath, fire emitted from her mouth, burning the witches. In a very short time, they became dust in the air.
When Mayu ready to took another deep breath, the hunter’s party appeared in front of them. Mayu stopped.
“Woa...woa...wao, friendly, friendly.” the beard man scared Mayu will attack them “We have already cleared the witches along the way. Total witch kill was eight, doesn’t include those in the air.”
“Well, let’s get out of this foul place first.” Yuki told them.
“You are right.”

Rena found herself woke up in a soft bed. She turned her head to the right, she found a familiar person, sitting at the table. She looked down, her wound was treated perfectly with bandages wrapping around it.
“You wake?” Jurina’s back still facing her.
“How do you found me?” Rena sat on the bed.
“I promised that we will meet again. Never thought will meet you in this situation, but don’t worry. Your wound was treated perfectly.” Jurina was reading a book on the table.
“...”
“Rena?” Jurina heard no response from her previous reply “Are you th…”
Rena hugged her from the back, Jurina’s words stayed in her throat. Rena pressed her breasts against her back, Jurina blushed. “Wh-What are you doing?”
“Jurina…” Rena hugged her tighter, with her eyes closed.
“Hmm..?” Jurina’s heart was pounding heavily, her breathing was getting faster.
“I...I like you. Don’t leave me anymore.” Rena whispered softly into her ear.
“What? I won’t leave you alone in this situation of course.” Jurina felt awkward and bliss in the same time.
“Jurina-chan...don’t leave me” Jurina felt her breasts squeezed harder.
“Uhmm...I pro…” Jurina’s words were interrupted.
Rena pressed her lips against Jurina’s. Her eyes widened while Rena kept hers shut. Jurina didn’t try to struggle, she closed her eyes to enjoy their intimate time. Rena broke and pressed on it again. Then pulled away as Jurina leaned forward, she wanted more.
“Well, this is the kiss you didn’t give me last time.” Rena released her pressure from behind and back to her bed, leaving Jurina with her book.

“It’s my pleasure my queen” she bowed.
“We already completed the trilogy, war is at brink. We will declare the war soon, you will be my most favourite champion.” Maeda laughed.
Her laughter echoed through the hall, indicating the beginning of terror.
