MERRY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR SPECIAL (Part 1)
“Oh no...”
“Oh yeah.”
“Wait, Jurina…”
“Shut it, Rena.”
“No… please no! Not tha- Mhhh!”
“Like it?”
“NO! Of course n- OH GOD! Hmmm!”
“So?”
“J-Jurina! That’s en-”
“How about now?”
“N-never! I’ll never fall-... aaaah~!”
“One last chance.”
“Jurina, p-please...”
But before Rena can say it, Jurina had already slammed her to lean back on her seat to whisper dangerously close to… Tani?
“Should I resort to something more… painful, punk?”
“Eeeep! Okay, okay! I’m moving over! Happy?” Tani rolled her eyes as she moved closer to her side of the window to give more space to the uncomfortable Rena, as claimed by Jurina. The truth is, she was actually sick of their small ministrations of love in the cramped space. Just blame Yuki for renting this small van for their so called vacation which only last a day.
“Can you like move over a little bit more? That’s not even called a movement you did there.”
“Huh?”
“Urgh… yo you deaf punk! Scoot over will ya!”
“But, Juri-”
“YOU NUTS? I’M LIKE LITERALLY STUCK HERE WITH MY FACE SQUISHED AGAINST THE WINDOW I FEEL LIKE A SUSHI ROLL RIGHT NOW!”
“Hey, Tani… Please st-”
“LIKE I CARE! NOW MOVE!”
“Why can’t you just sit at the front?”
Jurina looked to the front, before averting her eyes to the ground. There is enough space for another person just beside Sayaka and Miyuki at the middle row, but being unreasonable with leaving Rena together with the clingy punk, Jurina decided she should just crammed herself in with these two. Oh, what a great idea, she sneered to herself.
“Cat got your tongue, Jurina-san?” Tani said in a mocking way, receiving a death glare from her Jurina.
“Can’t you see Miyuki is sick? I don’t want to get her bad germs, obviously!” Jurina smirks, satisfied with her believable excuse before a voice interrupts them.
“Hey, can you guys like quiet it down a bit?”
“Why?!”
Jurina snapped her head to the front, but softens her eyes as she saw Sayaka apologetically smile while pointing at the head on her shoulder. Giving a thankful smile, Sayaka turns to the tired girl as she once again put a palm on the sleeping girl’s forehead. She slowly nod with a relieved sigh.
“Her fever’s gone.”
Sayaka said to no one as she pulls the blanket covering Miyuki to cover herself too. Miyuki was caught with a slight fever the past few days. She was just recovering when Yuki had announced that we’re going on a short trip to the beach today.
“What? Are you crazy?”
“Yes I am, Jurina.” Yuki said in a deadpanned voice as she merrily twirls around in the studio after deciding by herself that they are going to the beach in an hour.
“Umm… why?” Rena asked curiously.
“Hmmmm… I call it, Merry ChrixNew Year celebration!”
Yuki said with a clap of her hands while the others just stare at her with their jaws hanging.
“Wow… you guys looked like those dolls with hanging mouth. Creepy~” Yuki cringed before putting her normal face back on, “Okay I know this is so sudden but I just want to be a good leader to you guys since we’ve been working our ass off for the recordings and photoshoots during christmas and and new year. I’ve discussed this with Mayu and guess what? She actually agreed with the plan and even helped me with renting a van!”
“Wait, what?” Tani gasped, “It’s already 2015?”
“It’s been two days already, Tani.” Miyuki replied for her before taking a seat on their couch. She lets out a few coughs, feeling a bit dizzy with the commotion. Sayaka glanced to the sick girl, worried for her health. She heard from Mayu that Miyuki was down with a fever the past few days. Out of reflex, she put a hand on Miyuki’s shoulder.
“You okay, Miyuki?”
Miyuki nod, forcing a smile to the concerned Sayaka. “I’m good. Just a sore throat, that’s all.”
Remembering something, Sayaka fished out from her pocket for the extra lozenges she had bought earlier that day. Miyuki was startled when something appeared in her blurry view.
“Here. Take this. It’ll help relieve your sore throat. I usually take this and it works wonders!”
Reaching out for the packet, Miyuki mouthed a thank you before Yuki’s voice boomed the studio.
“Alrighty, kids! So all of you are coming along with the trip. No excuses, or I’ll put extra practice hours tomorrow for them.”
Yuki wickedly grin, making everyone shivered.
“Great! Now let’s have some fun, ladies~” Yuki cheered, not before winking at Mayu who only raised an eyebrow at the perverseness of her partner.“That’s a great relief.” Mayu mumbled to herself, taking a short glance to her cousin before sighing deeply. “She was so pushy about coming together, even when she’s sick.”
“Awww… don’t spoil the mood, Mayu. As the saying goes, the more, the merrier!” Yuki chirped with an excited grin before returning her eyes on the road. Mayu give a deep glare at the driver as if she is boring hole into the leader’s head.
“What?” Yuki asked once she realized Mayu’s staring at her, “You miss me that much, huh?”
“Yeah, right... Tell that to the horny one who just had to be friendly with everyone.” Mayu rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms.
“Who, me?”
“Yes, you!”
“Well, that’s who I am. Besides, you love this friendly side of me…” Yuki wiggles seductively, her hand trying to reach for Mayu’s cheek. However, she got a slap before she could even touch her girlfriend. Feigning a hurt face, Yuki pouted at Mayu.
“Oww… How could you do that to me? Don’t you wuuv me anymoree?” Yuki said in a hushed voice albeit funny and childish, trying to keep the conversation just between themselves.
“Well… How could you invite them for ‘should-have-been-our-private-date’ trip? You know I’ve been planning this since forever…”
This time, it was Mayu who was frowning. Feeling guilty, Yuki grab Mayu’s hand before intertwining their fingers together. Getting Mayu’s attention, Yuki smile at her.
“Don’t worry. Everything will be just fine, Mayuyu.”

“UWOOOOH!!! THE SEA!!!”
“This is so AWESOME!!!”
Tani excitedly shouted as she runs to the beach together with Yuki, ignoring the others yelling to get the bags out first.
“Darn… can’t she get any more mature?” Jurina hissed as she carries almost every bag that was in the van. Well, since Sayaka is being rarely occupied with Miyuki (even after she jumps around just to show Sayaka she’s really fine) and Mayu had already ran after Yuki, Jurina makes it her own job to carry all the bags. Besides, there’s only food in there. Lots of food. Seeing how Jurina struggled with the bags, Rena steps in beside her.
“Ummm… You need a hand, Jurina?”
“I’m good.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah.”
Rena sighed dejectedly before glaring at Jurina. Stomping her ways to her side, Rena snatched the bags on Jurina’s left hand before walking away in a breeze.
“What the… ”
“You’re too slow, Jurina!” Rena yelled as she pulls her tongue out playfully. Feeling challenged, Jurina squinted her eyes before running after Rena with the remaining bags.
“Get back here!”
A giggle sounded from Sayaka’s side. She turns her head to the source, suddenly feeling butterflies swarming inside her stomach.
“They’re cute, aren’t they?” Miyuki said with a bright smile as she clings on Sayaka’s side for support.
“Uh yeah…” Sayaka rubs her neck as she averts her eyes to the ground. She deeply regrets forcing Miyuki to hold on to her side because right now, she feels like running away. Running away from the soft body that makes her heart pounding like crazy.
“Ba-dump!”
Sayaka’s eyes widen, the sound of her heart beating and pounding clearly resonates in her ear.
“Ba-dump ba-dump!”
She gulps, praying hardly in her mind that Miyuki won’t hear it.
“Eh?”
“Ba-dump ba-dump! Ba-dump!”
Sayaka cursed silently as Miyuki turns her attention to her. She can feel heat rising up to her face and ear from embarrassment. Swallowing deeply, Sayaka scratched her head for any excuses.
“Umm… Ahaha! W-what the heck? I think I’m going-...”
“Paruru...?”
“...crazy cause I think I heard your heart say... Paruru? Eh?”
Miyuki abruptly released Sayaka, the latter’s eyes following as Miyuki jumps to a familiar person… and that’s when she let out a scream.
“Boo!”
“AARGGH!!!”
Sayaka harshly pulled her face away as Yui’s face appeared just millimeters away from her.
“What the heck, Yui?! You scared me!”
“That’s the idea!” Yui grins playfully before her face gets closer to Sayaka again. “I guess your heart is still going ba-dump ba-dump, huh?”
Yui nudged her teasingly with a wiggle of her eyebrows. Sayaka glared at her, before realizing what she’s implying.
“You…! That was you? You were making that sound?!”
“No… That was your heart beating for Milky.” Yui winked as she points at the bestfriends hugging and jumping behind them.
Sayaka deeply blushed before a yell sounded from the others, well most likely it came from Jurina.
“ARGH DAMN IT!”

“What is this…?”
The Matsuis had their heads down as Mayu points at the scattered bags with the food splattered and flying everywhere on the ground. It was like a military drill where two soldiers were found guilty for breaking the rules in the camp. Except, this one is actually more of a DevilCyborgMayu way. Everyone is circling the scene in silence, afraid to make any sudden movement that might unleash the demon in Mayu.
“Care to explain what happened?” Mayu once again asked with an air of an interrogator. If there was a table in between them, Mayu for sure will slam the poor table with all her might just to intimidate these two silent being.
“W-we were just-...” Rena started, but Jurina quickly cuts her off.
“It was my fault, Mayu!” She stood up straight like the soldier she is, her eyes boring straight to the horizon as to avoid Mayu’s glare. Jurina takes a deep breath before closing her eyes to replay and explained what actually happened to them.
“I was obliged to carry all of our food by my own since everyone had selfishly…” Jurina deliberately stressed on the word as her eyes glared at the others who were acting dumb, “... ran away to their own desire. Rena had suddenly took the bags from my hand, making me feel dishonoured for not able to do my task properly, as assigned by myself.”
A snicker sounded from Tani. All eyes fall on her in a questioning manner.
“Umm… sorry.” Tani cowered back into the crowds, away from Mayu’s death glare.
“Continue, soldier.”
Jurina nods her head before gulping with a horrified face… “Then, that’s when the tagging started.”
“Get back here!”
“Catch me if you can~!”
Feeling challenged, Jurina dashed her way towards Rena’s running figure. No one messed with her. Even Rena… She will do whatever she can to bring that girl down. Putting more speed to her feet, Jurina easily catches up with the running Rena. She was about to slam the girl down to the ground when out of nowhere, the scene before her turns white. It was as if they were in their own world, a blinding white world with only the two of them as the occupants. However, what caught Jurina breathless was when Rena turns her head around. She was grinning brightly with sweet giggles, taunting Jurina to catch her as she tries to run off again.
Jurina was out of breath. Not because she was a bad runner, but because of the sight in front. She can feel the side of her lips twitching to form a smile, a blissful feeling enveloping her body. However, just as she was rejoicing the scene, an evil looking monster suddenly appeared from the horizon. The monster was grinning, her hands stretching out like she was about to welcome the still oblivious Rena into her embrace. Jurina wanted to scream, to warn Rena of the evil monster about to kidnap her.
“Rena, watch out!”
Rena turns around, but it was too late. A thud reverberated as Rena slammed hard onto the monster, knocking her off to the ground with crossed eyes. Rena however, was trying to get a hold of her clumsy footing. Feeling heroic, Jurina throws everything that was weighing her before she slides down to Rena’s side to cushion the girl for the fall of the century.
“Oooff!”
“Oww…”
Jurina winced in pain from the fall. She rubs the back of her head as she tries to get up. However, the scene of the white world once again appeared as Rena pushed herself up. Jurina’s eyes widen as her heart starts to beat wildly.
“Holy…”
It was as if an angel had descended from the sky, falling on top of her. Yeah, she knows it was just Rena but she can’t help but to be amazed by this wonderful and beautiful angel named Matsui Rena.
“Are you okay, Jurina? I’m really sorry! I didn’t mean to-”
As if annoyed with Rena’s sputtering, Jurina raised a finger to silence the worried girl. They both stared into each other, feeling as if the world had stopped spinning when suddenly…
“GASP!”
They both turned to the person, a horrified Yuki pointing at the mess behind them. Eyes falling on the mess, that’s when Jurina realized the trouble she had put herself into…
“ARGH DAMN IT!”
“That’s what happened…” Jurina ducks her head down again, feeling lasers shooting out from the group manager. Suddenly, a cooing sound came from the crowds.
“Awww~ They were playing tag with each other!” Yuki squealed with both hands clamped together. “Aren’t they cute, Mayuu?”
Mayu rolled her eyes while facepalming.
“Wait, wait… So, it wasn’t Rena’s fault then. It was the monster who caused her to fall!” Tani brilliantly points out, feeling proud of herself. But then, Yui interrupts.
“But the question is…” She rubs her imaginary beard, “... who is the monster?”
They all gasped in shocked, only Jurina feigning ignorance as she glares at the perpetrator.
“IT WAS YOU!”
“M-me?”
Everyone turns to Tani who innocently points at herself before smiling innocently.
“Uhh… umm… ehehehe…” Tani slowly backs away. “I thought Rena-senpai was running towards me...”
“And you dared disturb the WMatsui lovey-dovey moment, do you…?” Yuki seethed as she rounded Tani with the others.
“W-what? Noo! I was just… I didn’t know…” Tani stuttered as she tried to prove her innocence when Mayu appeared.
“Oh, I think I know what we’re having for dinner.” Her eyes squints at the cowering figure.
“Do we need a rope? Just in case she runs away.” Yui holds a rope that came out of nowhere.
“I can’t wait to put my hands on her.” Jurina said as she slams her fist into her palm.
“We need a big fire for this. Like… seriously big!” Sayaka widens her hands, showing how big the fire is going to be.
“Ahahaha… Ummm. Rena-senpaaaaai!!! I’m sorry and I love yoooouuu!!!”
“Get her!!!”
The other girls watch in horror as Tani runs for her life, away from the hungry cannibals that are about to make a steak out of her tonight. The plan for a celebration, had turned into a bloody massacre...
