Final Chapter 50 : Times Will Never Change And The World Will Always Be HereJun’s POV
It’s finally time…
“Minna!” Rena instantly ran up and hugged everyone. “Hisashiburi!”
“Long time no see!” Yuki said as he returned her hug.
“Ohayo, Rena-chan!”
“Mayu!”
“Uncle Yuki, aunt Mayu!” Hikaru and Rin instantly ran up to the two of them, also greeting their child, Haru.
“Oh, hello you two!”
“So, Jun, Rena, how’s things?”
“It’s been good, just looking after Hikaru and Rin over here. How about you guys?”
“I am just looking after Haru. It should be Yuki-kun you should be asking.”
“Eh? Yuki come on and spill everything out.”
“Well… I’m now the CEO of a large engineering company here in Japan. Now I’m busy as hell and I don’t really get to see my wife and my child. Plus I have an international conference to go to in a few weeks so I have to prepare a few new models for exoskeletons as well as cleaning robots.”
“Wow…. You’re one busy man, Yuki...”
I heard a knock echo in the distance, wondering who it is.
“Oh, I think that might be Miyuki and Sayu, I’ll be right back.”
2 minutes later, Miyuki was helped by Sayu and her brother in law, Yuki to where we were, in the farther reception area. She was pregnant and we could all tell.
“Ohayo!”
“Still energetic as per usual Miyuki, it’s honestly very nice to see you again.”
“Yuki-kun, how’s the CEO job going?”
“It’s been good, I have to go to England in a few weeks, how’s life in Osaka?”
“It’s never been better!”
“Have you found out more about this?” Yuki said, holding Miyuki’s stomach.
“The doctors said it was a boy.”
“Congratulations, Milky!”
“Arigato, nee-chan.”
Just then, I heard the door burst open and someone let out a scream.
“Heyo~”
“Sasshi?”
“Yo!”
Yup. It’s Sasshi and Rie.
“Us too~” Ah, Sayaka and Sae are here, too.
“Well, you two pair of lovebirds seem happy.”
“Me and Rie just came back from our honeymoon in Cyprus~”
“Me and Sayaka-chan just got back from our date~”
“Where’d you go?”
“Nowhere special.”
“Yes it was, Sayaka-chan~ Anywhere I go with you is special~”
“Oh you.”
As always, those two are so lovey dovey. I never expected everyone to be like this and I feel proud that I knew them as much as I did.
“Oh, Miyuki. I have something for you from a girl named Shiroma Miru, she wanted me to tell you that she misses you as a friend and she’s in England at the moment.”
“Eh~? Miru-chan, huh? That’s so sweet! Hey, Sayu, let’s go to England for vacation! OK? Nee?”
“Okay, we’ll try.”
“Yatta~”
“Hey, Mayu. Do you and Haru want to come with me to England? Milky, Sayu you guys can come with us and visit Miru.”
“Are you sure Yuki?”
“Sayu, of course he’s sure. He’s built jumbo jets before and he uses one for personal reasons. Might as well use it!”
“Yeah but I’m more worried about you. You should try to relax a bit.”
“Mou, Sayu-nii~”
“And besides you know what the doctor said. No flying….”
“What if we discuss it with him?”
Milky gave Sayu a strong glare that froze him and he sighed.
“Alright, alright.”
“Wow… Forcefully asking your husband to do your bidding… Nice one Warukii~”
I heard the door open again and this time, Yuisuke and Haruka peeked through the door.
“Is this where the party is?”
“Yui-kun~”
“Milky?”
“So the rumors were true.”
She winked at the two of them and giggled.
“How was the-” We all heard a loud thump, seeing Yuisuke rubbing his head and Haruka having steam come out of her head.
“Itai!”
“Let’s just say it was…...Soothing~” Milky winked again, making sure Yuisuke blushed a tad.
“Milky, that’s inappropriate.”
“Are you trying to steal my fiance Milky?”
“Guys!” I quieted everyone and started, “More importantly, there’s something me and Rena need to discuss.”
“It’s about you, Rin-chan, Hikaru-kun.”
“Us?”
“Yes.”
“We wanted to give you presents since you gave us one.”
“Presents! Yay~”
“What are they?”
“Hikaru, this was passed down my family. I want you to treasure this as it were me, okay?” I handed him an unsheathed sword with a diamond encrusted hilt.
“Wow… Papa, are you sure you’d want to give this to me?”
“Trust me, Hikaru, I know you’ll become strong in the future.”
“H-hai!”
“And for Rin...” Rena pulled out of her pocket a red ribbon, two golden bells attached to it. She tied it into her hair in a cute braid. “My grandma made it for me, and now, it’s yours. Promise you’ll take care of it, okay?”
“Okay~”
“Haru, promise me you’ll help me build things. And that you remember what I taught you.” Yuki said to Haru, who lightly nodded his head.
“Hai!”
I swear Haru has traits from both Mayu and Yuki~
“This is nice,” Rena said, seeing our children smile, and everything is peaceful. No more war. Everything is… perfect.
“Yeah. It is.” I said as I took hold of her hand.
