Chapter 23

At AKIBA ACADEMY CLASS 2-4 HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION

"Ohayo..." Jun greeted.   

"Hey what's wrong?" Kai asked as Jun looks very tired.

"Been reading reports tasked by Otou san...My eye lids are sagging down soon..." Jun said as he rest him head on his table.

"Wow..Serious? Need some coffee?" Kuu asked.

"Or some energy drinks? I have it here with me..." Sae said as he offer some to Jun.

"It's ok...Just let me rest a while...I hope there are free periods today..." Jun said.

"Ding dong"

"Class is starting...Catch up later..." Kai said and went back to his seat.

"Ok..." Jun said.

10 minutes has passed but the teacher is still not in class. The class iinchou then went to the staff room to check.

"Class! Sensei is having a cold and won't be attending classes...She say we are free to use her free periods to conduct any activities
we want...." The class iinchou said.   

"YAY BANZAI" Their classmates cheered.

"Let's go kick soccer!"

"Let's go get some food at the canteen!"

"I want to go to the library!"

With that said, everybody left the classroom except for Kai and his friends.

"This is unbelievable! Your wish came true...Do you have a magic genie with you or something?" Riku asked.

"It's just a coincidence! I really need to get some rest...Wake me up when its lunch time..." Jun said and starts to sleep.

"Oh ok...So what do we do? Basketball?" Kai asked.

"Disagree...We should save our energy...We have practice after school..." Sae said as he look at Jun.

"What do you girls have in mind?" Kai asked.

"How about coming to the music room?" Yuki said.

"That's a good idea! I want to hear your songs! Let me hear you sing!" Yuko said.

"Erm...I am not ready yet..." Acchan said as she is not confident.

"Agree...Let's go then..." Kai said and left with Acchan's guitar.

"Hey! Give me back my guitar!" Acchan said and went after Kai.

They all left to the music room, leaving the Jun who is sleeping behind.

AT THE MUSIC ROOM

"I really can't do this...this is so embarrassing!" Acchan said.

"Come on! We are helping you out now...If you are embarrassed now...What about the actual day when you have to sing in
front the audiences?" Riku asked.

"Just do it like you always do Acchan!" Yuki said.

"Sing sing sing! I want to hear your singing! Onegai..." Yuko said.

Everyone is trying very hard to encourage Acchan but she is just too nervous and is not confident in her singing.

"Then can you demostrate? I really like your songs...Your voice...Will you please?" Kai said and smiled at Acchan.

Not able to reject Kai's request, Acchan took a deep breathe and begin to sing.

"Its a really well written song...The lyrics is very Acchan..." Kuu said.

"I will never get tired of listening to it...Acchan really has a very sweet voice..." Yuki said.

"Atsuko is really talented...No doubt about it..." Kai said as he looks at Acchan.

Everyone clapped when Acchan finished singing her song.

"I'm your fan! Acchan!" Yuko shouted.

"I will definitely buy your CD!" Riku said.

"Hahaha...I don't have a CD to sell..." Acchan said.

"This is a really good song Acchan!" Sae said.

"Isn't that great Acchan? I told you everyone will love it!" Yuki said.

"You will definitely get through the next round!" Kuu said.

"NO!" Kai said.

Everyone looked at Kai. They are wondering they he meant by 'NO'.

"Hey Kai...What do you mean?" Riku asked.

"Is there something wrong with the way I sing it or is it about the tune?" Acchan asked seriously.

"No...They are the best!" Kai said.

"Then what's wrong?" Yuki asked.

"Not just getting through...She will definitely WIN the competition...CHAMPION!" Kai said.

"I thought it was something else...Complete your sentence please!" Acchan said.

"Hahahahaha"

"So when is the 2nd audition round?" Yuko asked.

"Actually..." Acchan pondered.

"When is it? When is it?" Yuko asked excitedly.

"It's this Saturaday! Acchan is scheduled to perform in the afternoon!" Yuki said.

Everybody is shocked by the sudden announcement.

"That's really fast! Do your best Acchan!" Riku said.

"Atsuko! Why didn't you tell me?" Kai asked.

"Well...You might have practice that day...So I..." Acchan said.

"I will definitely be there." Kai said.

Acchan looked at Kai upon hearing that. She is very happy and displayed a wide smile.

"Don't worry Acchan, we will make sure that KAI is there..." Kuu said.

"Even Akimoto Sensei can't stop him if KAI wants to be there..." Riku said.

"Who says I want to see Kai...I want to see everybody there!" Acchan said as she blushed.

"Hear that? Acchan wants to see us there and not you..." Kuu said.

"Kai you can count on us...We will cheer your part for Acchan..." Sae said.

"Hey! You really don't want me to come cheer for you?" Kai asked.

"Hmm...You can come if there are extra seats available..." Acchan said.

"Thats mean! But I will still come even if you don't let me!" Kai said.

"Kai...You are so sweet to Acchan..." Yuko said.

"Hey! What is that suppose to mean!" Riku retorted.

"Aww...Kawaii...Riku-nyan of course is the SWEETEST!" Yuko said and hugged Riku tightly.

"Please stop! The ants are coming..." Sae said.

"Sae...Don't be so mean...Don't you think Riku and Yuko are so sweet together?" Yuki asked.

"You like that?" Sae asked.

"Hahaha...You are really really DOOOOM!" Kai teased.

"Shut it! If its just being sweeter...I can handle it..." Sae said.

"Are you Sae? What has love turned you into!" Kuu said.

"A sweeter Sae..." Kai said.

"HAHAHAHAHA"

"Too bad Jun is sleeping...He missed out the fun." Kuu said.

"Let him rest...He has been working really hard these days..." Sae said.

"Shall we have our composing champion sing us a few more songs?" Kai asked.

"Kai! What are you saying? I'm still far from being a champion!" Acchan retorted.

"Acchan...You are already his champion...Same goes for you right? He is your champion!" Riku said.

Kai and Acchan looked at each other and blushed.

"I want to hear Yuki sing..." Sae said.

"Why not the both of you sing?" Kuu said.

"Yeah! Thats a great idea!" Yuko said.

"Shall we?" Acchan asked.

"Of course...I'm be glad to." Yuki said.

Acchan and Yuki then sang a few of their original songs. They had lots of fun singing and chatting at the music room.

"Ding dong"

"Hmmm..." Jun said as he opened his eyes.

"Matsui kun? Are you ok?"

"Hmmm...Gomen...I am just sleepy..." Jun said as he looked up to see who woke him up.

"Really? That's great...I thought you are unwell...Where's everyone?" Rena asked.

"Senpai? This must be a dream...See you later..." Jun said and fall back to his sleep.

"Matsui kun? Matsui kun!" Rena said.

Rena tried to wake him up but Jun thought he must be dreaming and he continue to sleep.

"JUN KUN!" Rena shouted.

"HAI!" Jun said and jumped up from his seat.

"Giggles"

Jun look around the empty classroom and realized that its only him and Rena here.

"Where's everybody? Jun asked.

"I should be asking you that...Why are you alone here?" Rena asked.

"I'm alone here? Why am I alone here?" Jun asked as he rubs his sleepy eyes.

"Mohhh...Jun kun! Wake up!" Rena said loudly. Hoping that would wake Jun up.

"Ah Gomen...Sensei is not around...We have free periods so everyone went to do their stuff...Don't you have classes? Why are you here Senpai?"
Jun asked.

"I see...  As I did not select the elective lessons that some of my classmates is having...Like you now, I have free periods ...I happened to walk
pass here on my way to the library and saw you alone in the class...So I was wondering what happened..." Rena said.

"It's just that...I fall out with the others so they left without me..." Jun said sadly.

"Serious? What happened?" Rena asked worriedly.

"Hahaha! Gomen Senpai...I was just joking with you...I was really sleepy so I asked them to go ahead with their plans while I sleep...
Gomen..." Jun said.

"Mohh...Baka Jun kun..." Rena said.

"Jun kun?" Jun said as he looked at Rena.

"Erm...Like I said before...We are both Matsui so I think its better for me to address you that...Gomen...Even through I promised
not to..." Rena said.

"Senpai...Arigato...I think I still prefer to be called Jun kun by you..." Jun said as he smiled at Rena.

As Jun and Rena looked at each other, they have a indescribable feeling going through them.

"Actually Jun kun, Miyaza...." Rena said halfway but was interrupted.

"JUN! LUNCH TIME!" RIKU SHOUTED.

"KYAA! Riku-nyan is so manly with that shout!" Yuko said.

"Please stop being so disgusting! See my goosebumps!" Sae said.

"HAHAHAHAHA"

The guys came back to the class as promised to wake Jun up for lunch and they were surprise to see Jun and Rena.

"Opps...Did we came at the wrong consultation time Dr Matsui?" Kuu teased.

"What do you mean?" Jun asked.

"What else but...?" Kai said as he points at Rena.

"Not at all...I just happened to meet Senpai here!" Jun said.

"HERE? Our classroom?" Acchan asked.

"I mean Senpai happened to walk pass here and thought something happened to me..." Jun said.

"Something happened to YOU?" Kai asked.

"NO! She was just wondering why is our classroom so empty and came in to take a look!" Jun said.

"Oh...I see..." Riku said.

"Ahhh...I didn't bring my lunch together...Let's go to the canteen now! See you later Senpai!" Jun said and ran off to the canteen,
accidentally knocked off some files from his bag.

"Jun kun must be really hungry..." Rena said.

"HAHAHAHAHA" Everyone laughed except Rena.

"Gomen Senpai...Please excuse us..." Kai said and walked off with Acchan, Sae, Yuki and Kuu.

"See you later Rena san~!" Yuko said and walked together to the canteen with Riku.

After everyone left, Rena helped Jun picked up his dropped files on the floor.

"Medical Institute of America... Is Jun Kun going to study there? " Rena wondered.

Rena put the file back into Jun's bag and left their classroom, feeling sad.

After school, the guys went for their practice as usual. With the guidance of Akimoto, they have confirmed their team's start up and
formation for next week's match. The volleyball team is also well prepared and ready to show their skills in next week's match.

Acchan is preparing hard for her upcoming audition with Yuki's help. After she played her audition song to Kai and the others, Acchan is
more confident and is looking forward to the competition.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

AT AKIBAHARA MUSIC THEATER

Yuki and Yuko accompany Acchan to the audition theater early to help the guys get seats.

"Riku-nyan! We are over here!" Yuko shouted as she waves at the Riku.

"Kai! Yuko and Yuki is over there..." Riku said as he points at Yuko.

The boys saw Yuko and quickly ran towards them.

"Phew~ We made it just in time...Arigato Yuko and Yuki..." Kai said as he sat on the chair.

"Arigato Yuko...If not, Yuki can't come here today..." Sae said.

"No problem! Since I have no practice today..." Yuko said as she smiled.

"My Yuko is the best!" Riku said.

"Stop that! You 2 are not the main here today..." Kuu said.

"Sae...Are you tired? How is practice today?" Yuki asked as she use a tissue to wipe the sweat off Sae's head.

"Luckily, Akimoto Sensei have something on today...If not we might not be able to make it to the opening..." Sae said.

"Thanks to Jun and his genie...Totally spot on!" Riku said.

"It's just a coincidence! All I said is we will definitely make it in time for the opening...Thats all!" Jun said.

"Where's Auntie Haruko?" Kai asked Yuki.

"Auntie is at the backstage with Acchan..." Yuki replied.

"Hey! Its about to start!" Yuko said as she saw the theater lights started to dim.

As the lights dimmed off, the curtain of the stage slowly draw again and the contestants of the 2nd audition is revealed.
When they saw Acchan, they started to shout like fans.

"ACCHAN!"

"ATSUKO!"

"Minna...Arigato..." Acchan said softly as she hears her name begin shouted.

The MC of the day then announced the start of 'Round 2' of the Akiba Composing Talent Search and the contestants presented
their original songs one by one.

"Seriously...I don't understand what is he singing..." Kuu said. As he listens to the contestant performing metal rock.

"My ears hurts...I might need to go to the hospital to check my ear drums..." Jun said as he covered his ears with his hands.

"Yuki are you ok? I will request him to stop singing if it hurts..." Sae said.

"Don't worry...I am just not used to this music..." Yuki said.

"What a master piece...He's going to get into the next round..." Riku said.

"Are you serious? I didn't know you are into metal..." Kai said.

"Kyaa! Riku-nyan is so wild!" Yuko said and hugged Riku.

"We should have separated our seats from them..." Kuu said.

"Now not only my ears hurts...My eyes and skin hurts!" Jun said.

"I can understand why your eyes hurts...Whats with the skin?" Kai asked.

"Outbreak of goosebumps!" Jun said.

The performance finally ended and they can finally relax as the contestants right after the metal rock is all smoothing love songs.

"Hey can you feel it?" Kuu asked.

"Yeah...Sleepiness is in the air..." Kai replied.

"The tempo is too slow...I feel like I am in outer space..." Riku said.

"Riku-nyan...I am feeling sleepy..." Yuko said and rested on Riku's shoulder.

"This is really ridiculous...How are they able to get into the 2nd round..." Jun said.

"I think...High possibility is not enough contestants..." Sae said.

"Sae...Thats mean! I really hope Acchan comes out soon...They will definitely be amazed!" Yuki said.

Finally after a long wait, Acchan enters the stage with her guitar.

"It's Acchan's turn finally!" Yuko said.

"Atsuko...Ganbatte!" Kai said and pray hard for a smooth performance.

"Minna san, konnichiwa. I am Maeda Atsuko, number 14 from Akiba Academy. Kiite kudasai, 'Flower'." Acchan said and walked
to the chair and sat down.

Acchan took a deep breathe and adjust her posture. She then strummed her guitar to play her song.

The sleepy audiences were suddenly alive when Acchan starts to sing her song.

"The song is really beautiful..." Yuki said.

"Yes...I think I can relate to what Acchan is trying to say..." Sae said.

"The melody is really sweet..." Riku said.

"This is the best I heard so far..." Yuko said.

"Acchan definitely will make it to the next round..." Jun said.

"I think it sounds different from what we heard at the music room...It sounds so much better..." Kuu said.

"Of course...Acchan belongs to the stage...She is a natural born performer..." Kai said.

"Marude ai no you ni..."

The whole theater is now filled with loud cheers and claps. Seeing and hearing the cheers and claps, Acchan cried as
she bows to the audience as thanks. She then walked quickly to Haruko and hugged her.

"Atsu...Oka san is so proud of you..." Haruko said and started to cry when she hugged Acchan.

"Oka san...It's so scary...So scary..." Acchan said.

"Atsu...You have done well enduring it and delivered such a wonderful performance...Oka san is so happy for you...." Haruko said.

"Arigato...Arigato Oka san..." Acchan cried out.

The remaining contestants went on performing after Acchan's performance. Soon it came to an end and they are having a short
break to let the judges decide which contestants will proceed to the next round. Kai and the others are praying hard for Acchan.

"Atsuko...Please let Atsuko be selected!" Kai chants in his mind.

"Acchan...Please be Acchan..." Yuki prayed hard in her mind.

"If Acchan is not selected...Something is wrong with the judges ears...I will get a referrel letter for them to go to my family's hospital
to have them checked..." Jun said softly.

"Counting on you for that..." Kuu said.

"Riku-nyan...I am so nervous..." Yuko said.

"Hold my hand then...It's going to be alright..." Riku said and holds Yuko's hands.

"Please stop it! Acchan should be the one who is nervous...What are you nervous for Yuko..." Sae rebuked softly.

"But...This is so different from sports where we can see the results by points...This is completely new to me..." Yuko said.

"True...I am feeling nervous too." Kuu said.

"Serious? You look totally fine to me..." Jun said.

"Hey quiet! The MC is about to announce the results!" Kai said.

Finally the time has come to reveal who will advance to the next round. The MC walked onto the stage with a card on his hand.

"Sorry to keep you waiting...I will announce the contestants who will proceed to the next round." The MC said.

Hearing that, each contestant's families and friends who is supporting them started to shout their number.

"Contestant number  4, 7, 8, 10, 14, 16 and 23 will be able to advance to the next round!" The MC said.

"ATSUKO! ATSUKO IS NUMBER 14!" Kai cheered loudly as he hears Acchan's number being announced.

"Yokata yokata...Omedetou Acchan...Omedetou..." Yuki cried out.

"Acchan definitely deserve it..." Sae said and wiped the tears off Yuki's cheeks.

"I'm glad the judges ears are fine...Acchan definitely is the best!" Jun said.

"I knew Acchan definitely can nail this..." Kuu said.

"Riku-nyan! Acchan got selected! Acchan got selected!" Yuko cried out and jumped on Riku.

"Yupp...I am so happy for Acchan..." Riku said.

OUTSIDE AKIBAHARA MUSIC THEATER

After the results, everyone left the theater and waited outside for Acchan as she needs to stay back a while for
briefing regarding the next round.

"ACCHAN! OMEDETOU!" Everyone shouted when they see Acchan.

"Arigato!" Acchan said and walked to hug Yuki and Yuko.

"I'm glad I came...Your performance was really awesome..." Kuu said.

"Can I have a record of your song? I really like it!" Yuko said.

"Thats cheating! Acchan I want your song too!" Riku said.

"Riku...I thought you are into metal rock? Don't make Acchan play it in metal rock style...That's weird..." Jun said.

"I would like to try hearing it once..." Yuki said with a laugh.

"Are you serious?" Sae asked.

"Erm...Where's Kai?" Acchan asked as she can't see Kai among the group.

"Kai went to get us some seats at the cafe...To celebrate your victory!" Yuko replied.

"I see...Then I have to tell Oka san..." Acchan said.

"Where's Auntie Haruko?" Yuki asked.

"Washroom...Ahh...There she is! Help me take my guitar...I will be right back!" Acchan said as she saw Haruko
walked out from the theater.

"Ok!" Everyone said and Jun helped Acchan with the guitar.

After informing Haruko her plans later, Acchan went to the cafe with them.

"Kai's there!" Yuko said as she points at Kai who is sitting at a corner of the cafe.

"Let's go in then..." Sae said and walked into the cafe holding Yuki's hand.

AT FOR-TEA-EGG CAFE

They walked towards Kai and saw him behaving suspiciously.

"KAI!" Kuu called out.

"WOahhh..." Kai said and was startled.

"Did you just...?" Jun asked as he sat down on the chair. The others then join in the table.

"What?" Kai asked nervously.

"Kai...Did you?" Kuu asked.

"WHAT? What did I do?" Kai asked as he gets more nervous.

"Must be...Look at his face..." Sae said.

"He's got a really guitly look since we got here..." Riku said.

"I see...Kai you are a bad boy! No wonder you want to come to the cafe first..." Yuko said.

"Kai...How could you..." Yuki said.

"Yuki...Even you...Just what are you guys talking about?" Kai asked.

"I SAW YOU LOOKING AT THAT GIRL! You startled when I called your name..." Kuu said.

"WHAT! I didn't!" Kai retorted.

"I am disappointed in you Kai...I always thought you only have me in your eyes..." Acchan said while she displays
a disappointed look.

"Acchan...I think I will get a referrel letter for Kai to have his eyes checked...He already have such a good GIRL FRIEND
but he still looks at others..." Jun said.

"Hey! I did not look at others girls and never will I look at others girls since I only have 1 in my eyes, heart and mind!"
Kai declared loudly.

The other customers in the cafe laughed at Kai's declaration and that made Kai blushing in embarrassment.

"Kai is so sweet to Acchan..." Yuki said.

"I can be sweeter..." Sae teased.

"You mean towards Acchan? Sae, you can't do that to Yuki..." Kuu said.

"Of course those words I said is meant for Yuki!" Sae said.

"HAHAHAHA"

"So Kai...Why are you looking and behaving so suspiciously if you are NOT looking at that GIRL..." Jun asked as he
points at a girl opposite their table.

"NO! I was...was..." Kai said and was getting really nervous again.

"Are you hiding something under the table?" Yuko asked as she saw Kai's hands are under the table.

"Huh?" Everyone said and looked under the table except the girls.

"What is it?" Yuki asked.

"Kai...You are disgusting!" Kuu said.

"How am I suppose to tell Yuki..." Sae said.

"What are you talking about!" Kai retorted.

"All I can say its a NATURAL way of showing AFFECTION to a girl..." Jun said.

"Oh my...Kai...Don't tell me you got a..." Yuko said.

"Yuko! Don't say it!" Riku said.

"......" Acchan is blushing.

"Hey! Atsuko what is with that face and everyone stop saying misleading things...All I got is..." Kai said and took out something.

"You are setting the standards way high..." Kuu said.

"I was planning to get for Yuki...You have stolen my idea..." Sae said.

"A bouquet of flowers...I want some too Riku-nyan~" Yuko said.

"Now I have to get them for Yuko..." Riku said.

Kai gave Acchan a bouquet of white carnation mixed with some sweet olive flowers.

"You remembered..." Acchan said happily as she smell the flowery scent.

"I never forget the promises I promised you..." Kai said.

"What promise?" Yuki asked.

"Kai said if I take part in composing competition...He will get me a bouquet of flowers..." Acchan said with a smile.

"Just why aren't you 2 together yet? This almost can be considered a marriage proposal!" Riku said.

"I am curious too...But Riku-nyan...You no need to propose to me...I will definitely marry you~" Yuko said and hugged Riku.

"Argh...Please stop that...Wait till I introduce my girlfriend!" Kuu said.

Everyone looked at Kuu, this is the first time Kuu actually mention a girlfriend.

"You succeeded?" Jun asked.

"Yeah...I asked her and...Yar...We are together now..." Kuu replied shyly.

"WOW...MORE DETAILS!" Kai said excitedly.

Kuu then summarised what exactly happened between him, Kukai and Mariko.

"Kukai-nii is awesome!" Riku said.

"Kuu...You are lucky to have Kukai-nii to watch over your love..." Sae said.

"I know...I am indebted to him..." Kuu said.

"I want to meet Mariko...She is so COOL!" Yuko said.

"Sure...I will introduce Mariko to you guys next time..." Kuu said.

"Kuu...Omedetou..." Yuki said.

"You must treasure her..." Jun said.

"I will...Enough of me...Let's go back to Kai...Why are you not with Acchan?" Kuu asked.

"Well...Its a stupid promise..." Sae said.

"Hey!" Kai and Acchan retorted.

"You know about it Sae?" Yuki asked.

"Well...I shall help the awkward 'couple' explain..." Sae said.

Sae then told them all about Kai's and Acchan's promise to each other.

"For Kai...We must definitely win against Majisuka!" Jun said.

"Yeah! We can't stand watching them lust for each other but can't go beyond it because of this stupid promise..." Riku said.

"Hey!" Kai and Acchan retorted.

"It pains me to see them being restrict to this promise...For Kai and for us...We will win!" Kuu said.

"Win Majisuka so Kai gets the girl!" Sae said.

"I appreciate all of your kind thoughts...But can you lower your volume? Everyone is looking at us!" Kai said as he
looks around the cafe.

"......" Acchan is blushing.

"Yuki...Kai is so sweet..." Yuko said.

"Hai...He always is..." Yuki said.

"Anyway...Riku...You told me you have something to announce to everyone...What is it? About your fiancee or did
your parents start to do anything?" Kuu asked.

"Actually..." Riku said.

Riku and Yuko then told their friends what happened.

"Are you serious? This is so dramatic!" Kai said.

"Yuko really is Mayumi and she is your fiancee? No way..." Kuu said and looked at Yuko.

"I'm happy for you Yuko..." Acchan said.

"Arigato Acchan..." Yuko said.

"Insane...Totally insane...We worried for nothing..." Sae said.

"I'm glad everything turns out ok...Omedetou Yuko..." Yuki said.

"Arigato Yuki..." Yuko said.

"You girls sure can take things in stride...So complicated..." Kai said.

"Hey Kai...Don't think I don't know what you want to say..." Acchan pouted.

"Opps..." Kai said.

"Acchan...The flowers Kai got you are really pretty...I like the sweet olive..." Yuki said.

"Me too...It's small but its fragrance is not losing to the carnations..." Yuko said.

"Any meaning as to why you choose this combination?" Jun asked.

"Well...I don't really know about flowers...I think the carnations smells nice but the sweet olive's fragrance is not
losing to the carnations despite being smaller...So I hope Acchan song's will be spread to everyone and make them
remember...Keep on moving people and make more people aware of her music..." Kai explained.

"Wow...I never thought you would actually think that far..." Kuu said.

"Kai you are really very sweet..." Yuko said.

"I'm impressed Kai...I must work harder to be better than you!" Riku said.

"We better win against Majisuka...Don't make Acchan wait for Kai anymore...Acchan want action not just words!" Jun said.

"Acchan...What's wrong?" Yuki asked as she saw Acchan looking at the flowers and not chatting with them.

"Kinmokusei...Kai Arigato...I will definitely do my best!" Acchan said and smiled at Kai.

"Let's do our best." Kai said and smiled at Acchan.

"So when is the next round?" Yuko asked.

"2 weeks later...Actually, I have a request for you guys..." Acchan said.

Everyone looked at Acchan and wondered what is her request.

"Sure...What is it about?" Kai asked.

"If its something I can help with...I will help you..." Jun said.

"Just tell us what we need to do..." Sae said.

"Really! I want all of you to perform with me!" Acchan said.

"EHHHHHHHHHH" Everyone is surprised.

"How come? Isn't this a composing competition that restrict to only 1 performer?" Kai asked.

"Are you sure about having us?" Sae asked.

"Oh yeah! We will rock the house!" Riku said.

"Riku...I believe its not metal rock..." Kuu asked.

"Ehh...Really?" Riku asked.

"You better think carefully Acchan..." Jun said.

"This will be so fun!" Yuko said.

"Something to do with the next round theme?" Kai asked.

"Hai! The theme they proposed is friendship and they allow us to get our friends to perform together..." Acchan said.

"I see..." Kai said.

"Yukirin and Yuko will be singing with me..." Acchan said.

"Are you sure about Yuko?" Kuu asked.

"Hey! I can sing!" Yuko retorted.

"My Yuko is multi talented! Don't you doubt her!" Riku said.

"You heard her singing before?" Jun asked.

"Hahaha...Nope..." Riku said.

"Then what do we have to do? I am ok with anything else but not dancing..." Kai said.

"I want Kai to be on keyboard...Jun to play the violin...Sae to play the drums...Kuu and Riku to play the electric guitar..." Acchan said.

"Of course! If you need, I can play the bass!" Yuko said.

"I'll be glad to be able to be useful to Acchan..." Yuki said.

"Awesome! I can't wait for the next round!" Jun said excitedly.

"This will be so much fun! Like having our own band!" Riku said.

"Sure...I guess you already have a song in mind to house all of us?" Kai asked.

"This!" Acchan said and hold the bouquet of flowers up.

"Didn't you just performed 'Flower'?" Jun asked.

"New enhanced version?" Riku asked.

"Hope its not metal rock..." Kuu said.

"Kimokusei!" Acchan said.

Everyone looked at Acchan and is confused. Acchan did not explain further and simply told the guys to look forward to it.
They ordered their food and then discussed their plans and practice timing so that it will not clashed with their basketball
and volleyball practice or matches.

With her friends encouragement and support, Acchan is overloaded with inspiration. That night, Acchan came out with the
lyrics and tune for her new song and named it 'Kimokusei'.
