ill prefer to think of concerts as an entertainment more visually than audially(??). what i mean is concerts are more for the eyes and less for the ears for me.

if i have to give rankings for what i would like to see from a concert it would be something like this.

1. Performance (dance n stuff)
2. Dance costumes
3. Atmosphere
4. Vocal performance

Well, I've watched the concert (the TV rip) and it was pretty disappointing. Too much lip-synching!! Damn, there's no real, raw feeling if the singing's not live. I'd understand it for a few acts, but now it was like 90% lip-synched. So disappointing. What's the point in shuffling the songs if the singing's not live

That's the only reason I was ok with shuffling, that at least you'd then hear the songs live because there's no recorded version. But noooo. So now I think shuffling songs sucks. Also maybe makes me think that maybe most of the shuffled songs in previous concerts weren't live either, but I just didn't realize it then. What's more disappointing than finding out something you thought was real is fake? :/

What also really pissed me off was Special Generation. Here I thought it was a song that's impossible to ruin because it's an awesome pop song. But then they put someone with a really low voice (Yossi) to sing it?? Wtf?? It was just absolutely terrible to me. Special Generation as well as most Berryz songs NEED a high voice. That perf was so disappointing. And also, I don't think I'd mind if Summer Reggae Rainbow was never performed in a concert again LOL. Aichan's Goodbye Natsuo was kinda disappointing too, because she used the high non-pretty squealy voice instead of the vibrato-ish lovely voice. (And yeah Risako and Airi were there too, but I didn't really notice)

What did I like? Well, Makoto. She was absolutely gorgeous in this concert. I was surprised and like "wow"

Eri was really cute too (pretty pretty eyes). Momoko was lovely, as always. I ain't saying crap about vocals because of using pre-recorded tracks. HOWEVER, Miyoshi definitely suited the Elegies song the best. She should've had more lines *angry mumbling*.

Gawd I paid so much attention on the Eggs

Trying to recognize Eggs in H!P concerts = priceless. "Saki. Yurika. Mucchi. Robin. Konatsu..."

So those were my opinions. One of the most disappointing H!P concerts I've seen, I skipped a lot from the end, too.

She replaced Miya in Sukibaka. The setlist with Miya in Summer Reggae was the one where Momo was absent and Miya replaced her. I'm not sure about Waracchaou. Momo did get some of Miya's lines, but I'm not sure if she got all.

I agree with what shi said totally, but I haven't watched the concert yet, but the few performances of it, the girls have been TOTALLY capable to sing live (prime example is Miki and Boogie Train. Sure the four kids had lines, too, but they could've been lipsynced instead of the whole. damn. song.), but they weren't live at all... I HATE when the concerts are lipsynced. It seriously ruins the concert feel to the atmosphere.

And just a note shi, the only past recent concert with a lot of lipsyncing was Natsu no Kayo, their summer tour last year. Wonderful Hearts I think had a quite a bit. Elders really didn't. The Iida grad tours really didn't either. Like, there was some, but it wasn't every song or every other song.

After a first quick listening I really liked Yossi in Special Generation. Really. Her voice suited the song very well. And regarding all the playback, I always thought that concerts where supposed to be live, and that was the fun with concerts. I didn't like the stage either or the camera. I want to see the one that is singing. Not the others.

I'll probably watch the full concert tomorrow.
So I shouldn't say anything yet. =D

Weird, the version I just watched had all the songs in the right order (although there were 3 songs less than were performed at the original concert).

The version I saw was 1hour 18min and there were several times where it looked like something was edited out. The big-ass torrent on Hello! Tracker said it was 1h30.

Ah well that explains the missing 11 minutes. Mine is missing "Kuchibiru Kara Ai wo Choudai" and it has no extra footage (in the screenshots on Hello! Tracker one of them looks like backstage footage).

What about "Soku Dakishimete" and "Ooki ni. Machibata Kara..."? Were these 2 broadcast?

The DVD currently owns my soul. If anyone has any interest in even just one of the girls in the concert it's more than worthwhile.

Hmm... I think the DVD might be a different perf... I haven't watched it, but judging by how Risa's hair MIGHT be different in the night show judging by the flets clips, I would say the DVD would have better angles and stuff!
