^ wow great post, and although Miu chan had some great
rallies in that match, she was playing the woman who would win the
World Championship in that Tournament - Ning Ding (Ding is her
Family name)

Ning Ding


It was great watching Miu in that match, she kept her composure throughout the match, even
though Ding Ning was dominant most of the time.

Miu teamed up with Mima Ito chan,
And when they won the Women's Doubles
at the German Open in March 2014,
they became the youngest pair (both aged 13)
ever to win First Place at an ITTF World Tour event:

Miu and Mima went on to face the same Polish Doubles Team (Natalia Partyka and Katarzyna Grzybowska) in December 2014
at the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in Bangkok. Now both 14, the girls were the youngest ever to win that tournament.

Can't blame them for being excited, the win came with a check for $40,000!
The girls said:

"We are going to buy lots and lots of presents for our family and friends," they said.

"We are so excited about this money."

but first and foremost they are Singles rivals

Saw the really fine Yui Aragaki starring film
"Have a Song on Your Lips"
and Mayu chan was very noticeable
in her role as a sweet natured member
of the choir club that Yui san's character
directs.




Mayu is getting guest spots in TV dramas-
She has played a 14 year old new mom!
She guest starred in Gou Ayano's drama series
'Kounodori', which also stars Mayu Matsuoka.


And Mayu just appeared in a TV drama special, "Indigo no Koibito"
- produced by NHK Okayama:

A talented young actress, yes,
