Okay, here I go.
SPOILERS!!! Do not read unless you've already watched the movie!!!
First off, have to once again thank PDD for the RAW and xin for the soft subs!
Kagami outshone Tendou. The performance and character development was much more in-depth and heartfelt, IMO. Tendou was still Tendou, cool, slightly aloof, and badass. Just like in the series, we see that his calm demeanor vanishes when his family (i.e. those he cares about) are involved. In those situations, he fights with unparalleled passion and fury, whereas normally he's calm and methodical. Somewhat disappointed in his death (I mean, he didn't fall over, he just remained there in the semi-squat position). At least he died via a "Rider Finisher" instead of getting a punk death like getting shot to death (Daisuke/Drake).
Yaguruma returns as TheBee and he makes wicked villain. He's not an "over-the-top" cartoony-type, villain. He's determined and single-minded in his loyalty to ZECT. He's the quintessential right-hand man to Yamato. Speaking of Yamato, I'd have to say he was my fave movie Rider. Like Yaguruma, he's focused and determined to see the goals of ZECT realized. He's not the biggest guy there, but the way he constantly looks like he's pissed off, combined with the "I dare you to fight me" looks that he gives...fuckin' rawked! Dying by falling to the surface from the space station? Da-yum.
Oda would have been a cool guy to have in the series. He's a bit of a hothead and a bit of a rebel, but he's still a soldier. He knows what has to be done and he does whatever he can to see that what needs to happen, happens. His actor seemed (to me) to have the best acting skills of the three movie riders. I think he could fit in the series pretty well.
Caucasus was cool. He probably would have been my fave rider if his part in the movie was more developed and longer. The whole blue rose thing made for great visuals and cinematography. When he got kicked into the part of the station that was heading for the asteroid and blew up, I couldn't help but leap from my chair and go "YEAH!!!".
Hiyori - How can you not lurrve her? If you don't you have no soul. Yeah, I admit it, I got all misty-eyed at the scenes with her and Kagami. You could tell she wanted to be with him, but she was scared of hurting him and all. Even though I knew she was supposed to die in the movie, it still doesn't really prepare you for when it actually happens. So her affliction was because of the meteor when young Tendou didn't get her out of the rubble in time? Did Tendou know about her affliction? Wonder if that's why he stayed away for so long and why he didn't tell her who he really was? He must have felt massive guilt over not being able to help her when they were younger.
It was nice how they had Shura being the spy for ZECT within Neo-ZECT, given how much more fanactical her character was compared to Oda. And to think, rumours initially said she was supposed to be Tendou's love interest. Can't say I was sorry to see her die off at the end, though I would have really laughed (and liked it) if she died due to Yamato falling and crash-landing on top of her.
WTF moments -> God Bless America? Tendou's bike, she flies AND has autopilot/an AI that knows to follow him when he and Yamato fall from the space station? Also, assuming that the second asteroid was NOT there behind the comet, would there have been enough water in it to totally refill the Earth's ocean's?
