DHG, sometimes your friends will appear on the replay channel, I once sat through 3 or 4 matches in a row from someone on my friends list, haha. I think it must be programmed in somehow.

Great interview with the EVO Women's champion this year, I had no idea she was such a famous SC player! beating the USA champion at 10 years old? amazing! haha.

she is so good at SC that namco themselves gave her a tribute in an actual soul calibur game by giving her an A.I; if you ever played soul calibur broken destiny, there is a computer opponent who uses xianghua (her main in SC), and the computers name is KaYaNe, lol

So a couple of days ago I was practicing with some other characters and fucking around with their trial modes when I attempted Dudley's. Before I knew it, in one sitting I completed 23/24 of the trial challenges. As usual they got difficult towards the end but the only one that beat me was the only combo that involves using FADC. So I came back today, and tried it again and again and I was getting as far as doing the FADC but falling at the last hurdle. I was either cancelling the special move but not dashing out and inputting the Ultra command in time, or I was executing the Special move instead (which funny enough is much more damaging than executing the Ultra, Dudley's special is so anti-air it's unreal) So I was determined it wasn't going to let it beat me, and sure enough, I managed to do it!

So if anyone is maybe struggling trying to get that achievement where you clear one character's trial and you're a casual player like me using the 360 controller, I'd definately recommend sticking with Dudley's. I've played about with maybe 10 other characters and he's been by far the easiest to do as it doesn't require quite as much input at such a fast pace that seems only possible on the arcade stick. One thing I wish you do in Trial mode is being able to see the button input like you do for training. Would have helped.

Apparently T.Hawk's are supposed to be the easiest, but I couldn't do one of them, haha.

Also, for those that care about internet drama, the top player on SSFIV has her(?) own YT channel where she's posting replays of her playing to prove they're not a cheater.

She/he recently got the MASTER rank for Juri, maybe the first person to get that rank? with a whopping 30000+ BP.
The only problem is, could someone really play that many matches to obtain that rank and not get the achievement for 100 Ultra Combos? no, lol. Boy or girl, 0% disconnect or not, they're boosting!

anyway pretty obvious booster, i caught on a while ago... when i had HIM on my list i offered a match with my sak, he was always busy, that and coupled with the fact i never see any replays, and he was almost never on SSF4... removed em!

Daigo lost against a Japanese Dhalsim player in those matchups, and nearly lost again to an American Dhalsim who had beaten him last year

Still, this guy is indeed a beast! It's so fun to watch him play, almost like poetry in a fighting game 
Everytime I watch him play I feel like switching my Chun to use Ryu.

Wow, this right here is probably the best fight I've seen and it's a cruel reminder why I dislike playing against Dhalsim. Not whining about it, cause I know it's a different play style that focuses on zoning and defense, and Dhalsim can be pretty screwed if you get in close and apply the pressure, but for someone like me who can't get in close because the Dhalsim player is just too good at zoning me out and defending should I get close, then it's pretty tough to beat. Anyways, do watch the fight, it's mentally exhausting to watch but it's a showcase of two top-tier players at their best with plenty of moments

Also don't feel bad, even Dhalsim gives Daigo trouble as you can see! and of course me too, I barely even beat good Dhal players most of the time 
Dhalsim is mostly a poking character because he has a low number of actual combos, but he can link Ultra=>Super etc and has fantastic zoning and can even break through your guard by forcing you to block high on a fireball, then hitting you low, or Ultra,, etc, or doing a crossup on block with air yoga teleport & jumping punch, stuff like that.

He requires a lot of patience to play as though, and I'm very impatient, suck at zoning so he's a total mismatch for me to play as, lol.

I gotta learn to stop practicising with new characters in Ranked matches. Started off the day with 800PP and now down to around 500 after trying out Guy and Chun Li Gotta do my homework on any new characters, I look like the worst fucking scrub when I take them online.

Anyone else seen the PC mods? Some of them are so good! And naturally most of them dress up Chun Li and Cammy more provactively

I was always thinking they should of done a fan competition for the new costumes, I mean of course they can't exactly use these mods in the real game, but these designs and others have been really great.
