Takahashi IMO has the best voice, so if she went solo, I'd support her all the way. But the problem is that she is too shy to be on her own and promote stuff. Vocally, she's got it.

Too bad she never learned piano or guitar at a young age. She could be like a singer/songwriter type. And coupled with her strong voice, she could break out of that quiet self. Very un-H!P like, but what if...

After watching Ai-chan's solo performance of "Osaka koi no uta" (so many times), I gotta believe she's gonna be the one that goes solo next.  I'd be excited to see a solo idol like her as opposed to just girls with type-A personalities like Yaguchi and Nacchi (not that i don't like them too...).

Yea I feel Taki has been over due for her solo gig. Its like they been holding her back. I'm not a big fan of her personally, but its hard to deny her talents. She's been ready in my opinion, they should just get on with it and hurry up and replace her in MM.

RIKA!!!!!

Honestly, if she were to go solo I don't think I'd be able to listen to her album for hours at a time.  BUTT... and a very big one indeed.  I'd be glued to her PV's 24/7.

Go rika!  YAY!!!!!

The likely candidates IMO are Miki, Risa, and Ai. Miki I think should just pursue GAM.. we need nice legs. Risa.. we could put her in a sub group as the leader of some Eggs group. But Ai, she could handle it on her own. She carries most of Momusu's songs now a days anyway. But the thing is, if Ai and Miki graduate, who will be Momusu's three? Risa and Eri?

ai takahashi, even though i'm not a huge fan, would definately do well solo, as i think would reina tanaka, she's got a strong personality and voice to do as such. i think mika should come back from teh states and become a duo with hitomi, as both their voices are mature enough, i think they would be great!

I feel the same way. There are some of her songs which are great. I think if she had a little more time for soloing she'd be one of the leading H!P singers.

You can guess looking at my avatar and sig who's solo debut I'll crap my pants over most if it ever happens.

That said, I agree that Takahashi would kick all kinds of ass as a solo artist. Beautiful, adorable personality, terrific voice...plus, I gotta admit I wouldn't cover my eyes if they slutted her up like Gocchin.

They're definitely stronger as a group, but u know it won't last forever since someone is always graduating and new members and such.  Even though i love them all. i hate to admit that the two that would best survive in the music world as solo artist as or right now would be Ai Takahashi and Miki Fujimoto. although Koharu Kusumi is doing well i think.  Miki had been a soloist before so she have the experience and such, so she'll be just fine i think. Ai have the talent and the looks but it would be hard for her in the beginning, she is just too sweet, she'll be gobbled up out there in the real world.  Same goes for all of them. And i think that for those who doesn't seem to actually survive as a soloist should probably be placed in a duo/group(aka Viyuuden or W), i think it's better that way.  It's a scary world. But as long as they supporters, i think they'll be fine.  I think it's best for know that they try to experiment on solo projects or sub projects of that sort. u know like starred in a movie or jdorama(or anime), host a talk show, have a radio show, etc.  u know the usual like most of them already do, especially the graduated members. The point is so that they can get more exposure and while still being a singer, able to do other stuff to show off their talent and just go from there.  Anyway i hope them all the best!

I'd say Suzuki Airi, Natsuyaki Miyabi, Sugaya Risako, Yajima Maimi, or Umeda Erika. Especially Miyabi and Airi cause they have great vocals. :)

Out of current MM I'd like to see Reina go solo. Takahashi may be the best vocalist, but she lacks 'x-factor', whatever that is.. Reina is just more interesting in my eyes and her vocals are decent enough.
