Densha Otoko was the reason I got hooked to J-Dramas. At first, the intensity of the acting needed some getting used to, but after you get over that, it's all fun. After Densha Otoko I've watched many other dramas that are also recommended, namely Hana Yori Dango, N's Aoi, Kurosagi, Attention Please and My Boss My Hero.
EDIT: How the hell did i forget about Nobuta wo Produce? Bye cycle!

-Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu
-Ichi Rittoru no Namida
-Attention Please
If you haven't seen those yet and decide to, I recommend you watch them in that order. Watching "1 litre" first would probably take the impact away from Sekai no Chuushin.
You should save Attention Please for last for comedy relief from the first 2 otherwise you might get really depressed and take your life!...or not.

Kisarazu Cat's Eye
I'm watching it currently and it's one of the best dramas I've seen in a while. It's funny and crazy but at the same time very serious. Definitely a must-see!!
Summer Snow
My all-time favorite drama. I love the characters and everything that happens around them. It's completely different from KCE but a must-see too.

I havn't really seen alot of dorama's but i randomly watched "
Love Complex
" and absolutley loved it!
Its really crazy, and got loads of recognisable actors in it (like over half of the main cast). I recommend it to anyone who wants a laugh!

I know it says recommend A dorama... but I can't help but recommend a few:
- Nobuta Wo Produce - this was my first jdrama in a long (first being Love Generation), and i totally loved it.
- Gokusen 2
- Engine - this was very good - the lil kid was just too cute. i bawled in the end... you'll see.
- ONE LITRE OF TEARS - this is an absolute must-watch. don't worry, it's not overrated.
