Yes, that's true. America IS superior. That's why they've placed in the world's top 50 of countries to live in, quality of life, quality of education/academic scores, global popularity,etc. Whereas we Canadians are merely in the top 10 in those same categories. It's also the reason why Americans buy and wear Canadian gear (i.e. caps, shirts, backpacks, etc that have the Canadian flag on them) when they travel in Latin America, the Middle East, etc. They know that potential kidnappers are more likely to kidnap Canadians than Americans and they're DARING those kidnappers to come out and grab their asses off the streets so they can give them an ass-whuppin.
BTW, in case anyone didn't realize, I was being totally sarcastic. In terms of global opinion, stats, etc., Canada is by far considered the better country. The only lure that America has is the "American Dream" of making your big fortune (in a complelety unrealistic manner/span of time).

THEY'RE AFRAID of kidnappers! You NEVER (and I mean NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER) see an American who's NOT a soldier walking around in countries like those in the Middle East and/or Latin America with "American gear" on because that's just INVITING a whacko to come up and kidnap and/or shoot you. Tourists won't buy "American gear" to take back to their homelands because they'll get their asses whupped by their neighbours!!!
The only reason why other countries "fear" the Ameircans is because the Americans don't know how to fight (militarily-speaking) without using the nuclear missles and weapons of mass-destruction that they keep in the silos in the Midwest and/or on submarines. Take those weapons away, put America on a level playing field with the rest of the world, and all the bravado, bullshit, and arrogance would yield to pissing in their pants, begging for mercy, and making deals with other countries that ACTUALLY benefit the other countries (go figure).
Oh, and BTW, if one looks on a map of the world, with regards to Canada and America: 1. Canada is bigger, 2. Canada is ON TOP. What does this mean? If the world were a prison America would be OUR BITCH.
