jeez.. still dead as hell in here.. well anyways.. since miki is the current sub-leader.. do you think that when yossie leaves.. [i dont like talking about it but it is inevitable.. dont get all angry over it] do you think miki will be the new leader? and if so.. how do you think she compares to the other leaders by her leadership qualities and whatnot?

To be honest I can't really see her as a leader because of her image. Someone like Risa would probably be a better leader but since she's younger than Miki and Takahashi I don't think it's gonna happen. Another thing that goes against Miki becoming the leader is that she's a front girl. The leaders MM have had so far aren't exactly front girls. That's one of the reasons why Risa could get chosen.

Miki still seems to be a lone wolf and I don't think she's that close to most of the younger members. So that's why I don't think she would be a great leader. However she would still handle public events better than the other leader candidate, Takahashi, because her personality is so entertaining.

Well she's already 21. I don't know any 21 year olds who hang out with 13-17 year olds so that might explain why Miki isn't close to them. She also doesn't really seem to be a senpai type of girl (like Rika or Kei) who helps and takes care of the younger members. I really believe that she would be better as a solo artist. GAM is gonna rock though

That could happen if UFA decides to make GAM a permanent group. I sure wouldn't mind it cause Aya & Miki together > Miki in MM

I somehow think it would be better for Miki's vocals if she got to be solo/in GAM... I mean recently, it's almost sounded to me like her vocals live are getting *worse* o_o Either that or I've become more critical a listener

But I think having to share lines with ~10 other girls makes one a lazier singer, because you have others to rely on... Uh... I hope that makes sense.

well you're damn right about the lazier singers thing.. if all the girls went solo.. [assuming they could

] they would all have to really raise their voices.. doing it with their current skills would lead to the inevitable end to them.. and to a lesser extent.. end of the WORLD!!

anyways.. i would like to see more miki-aya action.. but i cant let go of yomiki just yet.. lets hope tsunku doesnt "graduate" miki too soon..

She is becoming lazier to a certain extent. You can tell from her body language. I don't really see her as a leader myself. She can still move in perfs though, that's what makes me love her in lives. Her singing is still better than most of the other girls, although it has worsened since her inception into MM.

Rika's graduation concert is a good example of Miki's vocal laziness. Her vocals sounded nothing special when they were performing MM songs but once she finally got to perform solo she sounded as good as always. I guess it's alright since she's so much better at singing than everyone else in MM besides Takahashi. She'd outshine the other girls like crazy if she was always giving 100%. I haven't seen any new Morning Musume concerts so I don't know how her live singing is nowadays.

Anyways... I see Miki graduating before yossi does, mainly because I don't see yossi graduationg for another 2 years and Miki doesn't really fit in the group anymore so an opportunity for her to be leader wouldn't happen. But yeah, she won't make a very good leader anyway. By the time Yossi graduates I predict takahashi to also have graduated and that would make Risa leader. I've thought Risa would be leader before and the graduations of konno and mako make that possible.

I'm still waiting for the day when Miki finally leaves momusu though...
