You guys keep talking trash about Konno, but the truth is she's getting a 2nd pb because her first one kicked everybody's asses last year. It was the highest ranked H!P pb on the year-end bestseller lists of almost every major Japanese book seller. H!P is hoping lightning will strike twice with her 2nd.
That's because she's the girl the horny old businessmen who have lots of money like. They pre order and buy multiple copies giving her high numbers. And then there are still the other people who buy one.
Unlike the other girls which the majority of the fans are the younger fans like teens and guys in their twenties who most likely don't have the money to buy 50 copies of just one photobook. Most of them probably just download the PB's and don't bother buying them anyways. Of course there are still those crazy people who buy multiple copies but I doubt that there are as many as Konno.

flamingmoe does make a valid point about her sales figures. It doesn't matter WHO buys the PBs. What matters is that they ARE BEING BOUGHT and that A LOT of them are being bought. Old men, young men, lesbians, little girls, the particular demographics of the sales don't mean shit. What matters is the BOTTOM LINE, and in this case, the bottom line is the TOTAL number of books sold. In terms of sales, Konkon's was the 2nd-ranked PB for last year. It would be irresponsible business sense if TPTB did NOT try to capitalize on this fact by giving her another solo PB. We're not talking about which PB was shot the best or had the best outfits, it's ALL about, and ONLY about the total number of PBs sold. While the aethetics are definitely important, in this case it's all about the numbers.
