FJORDNE is the solo project of FjS, better known as the programmer of the electronic pop band, fhenomina. He makes music based on two concepts, "sound texture" and "twisted time". He makes music using all kinds of acoustic instruments he can get and using a computer to transform them into a new time span.

I don't think it's just cause of one guy. It's all the people who go here to just leech shit and don't seem to even consider contributing or atleast joining the forum. My intention for this thread wasn't for that, but for people to share some of their favorite bands and artists. They don't even have to post any dls, just link something to sample, or post your opinions about shit. It ain't that hard. This is a discussion thread, not a download thread. Like stryfe said, you can pm him if you think you should be able to dl stuff.

But  welcome all new people and thanks for the new stuff. I'll check them out.

Just a note to the new guys from JMR, stop bothering iacus. Reuploading doesn't mean it's an original upload.

One stupid guy didn't read the rules,  fucked up and every peep is paying off. Life is harsh.

It'd turned out like this either way, I just had no idea we had this many leechers.

I think this is the only good album I have that hasn't been uploaded or mentioned;

Werckmeister Harmonies - Bastille Drone

1. reverse after rebirth to walk on dead steps 12:32
2. Bastille Drone/Christ's crown gradually tightened/we are me 17:34

I'm really getting into 54-71, wasn't too sure after the first listen, but they have grown on me!

Man, that's really unfortunate for us newcomers who want to discover new music.  Well, guess the music hunting continues elsewhere.   :tama-mad:

And no problem Stryfe, if you want to download from that site and if you don't mind installing another small proggie, get their RaySource program and that'll help you download the files.  The speed that you get isn't that great either, but hey, free stuff, can't complain.

The new album is Awesome. I thought their last album was a bit uneven but this is just fantastic. Should be, took 'em five years to make it.

This is taken directly off their Myspace.

-Water Fai are a Japanese psychedelic-pop band, formed in Osaka in 2002. These four women dynamically contrast intricate melodies and soft harmonies with violent guitar-noise and electronic effects. They bring a much needed feminine approach to the post-rock genre that is so often dominated by male artists (and their biggest influences) like Mogwai and Tortoise. They bring their own translation of the sentimentality captured best by The Album Leaf and Yo La Tengo.

The band is closely aligned with fellow Osaka-based artists Afrirampo, Jenny on the Planet, Jew's Ear, Middle 9, Suquimaoto..etc. They performed their debut performance in 2002 as the background music for a live painting event. From oct 2008,new drummer,Tadahiko Aono(aka suspiria,walkman), enter the band.

Water Fai self-released their debut album,2004-2006, that was mixed and mastered by Japanese sound engineer Tokita (ex-u-lala), in September 2006. Brooklyn-based label, White Shoe Records, re-released this debut album,girls in the white dream, in March 2008.

Stryfe has some nice stuff ;_;

Someone was asking for the new te' album and I haven't seen it posted so excuse me if this is a repost.

I also have a question, would somewhat unknown jazz-hip hop artists be posted here or on the General Hip-hop thread?

You can just say you think it's awesome, you don't have to be poetic about it or anything.

Seriously though, it's pretty well out there so I can understand why you wouldn't like it. I personally think it's brilliant however.

Wow, 5 years! Nearly as bad as eksperimentoj, 1 album in about 8 years! Well I just bought my ticket to see 54-71 and LITE in London, really looking forward to it. We don't get to many Japanese bands here, especially indie bands, but they are both signed to an Irish record label, so are actually frequent visitors :P

That's great! Tell us how it goes.

Lite are supposed to be great live and 54-71 are notorious for putting on insane shows.
