Pretty sure there's going to be a second season as I've heard things about it such as the focus being on new heroes, Sylar becoming a regular, and Hiro being in another century.

Hiro being in another century.. hmm i'm jus wondering that
it might actually be that Hiro is Takezo Kensai himself? haha

Actually, they changed the idea of having a 2nd season with all new cast.

Producers thought that since the current cast is such a hit, they'll be brought back next season, of course there will be new Heroes though.

Mohinder could've killed Sylar when he knocked him unconscious saving Peter, and Hiro blew it by not acting quick enough.

Ohhh.. New heroes episode was wack.
I just dont get jessica. WTF is with her power. She's just a psycho for god's sake...
They should kill her off the show.

And mohinder is beginning to irritate me too. Sylar plz if you would do the honour.

One week to go!

Ando totally went on a suicide trip, and DL headphasing Linderman was the bomb!

Maybe Ando thinks the only way Hiro would gain the fortitude to actually kill Sylar is if he dies.

Anybody have more information about the fall spinoff, Heroes: Origins? Looks like six episodes have been planned.

Jessica's in the show, I believe, to keep us horny guys interested into watching the show.

^stoneden, i heard each episode introduced a new Hero, and after they all air, we can vote to see who will be in the main cast in the 2nd season.

I'm worried about Ando, all the future telling has come true so far. I can actually see the bomb going off anyway. I'm sure there's gonna be twist overload in the final episode :) (I hope so!)

I really don't want another series. It's taking up too much of my life :D

about the spin-off

Quote from: Zap2It.com
[...]
The "Origins" series will consist of six stand-alone episodes, with each one introducing a new character and telling his or her back story. They'll take place within the "Heroes" universe but won't be tied into the main arc of the series, although one or two regular characters may pop up.

It will also carry an interactive element: After all six "Origins" episodes air, viewers will be able to vote on which character joins the main show the following season.

I think DL("the black guy") was spotted in the preview for next week. So he may live.

Anyway, I got the May 21-27th issue of TV Guide and it has an article about the season finales of the big shows and this is what it has to say about HEROES:

Quote
The massive cast and sprawling plots finally collide in Manhattan, but does anyone really think they'll see that much-prophesied nuclear apocalypse? Nah. "But how it all winds up is pretty unexpected," says creator Tim Kring. "I don't think anybody will say 'I saw that coming.'"
The episode's final 90 seconds will reveal next season's theme, focusing on the hidden ancestry of Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka). As for who stays and goes, Kring says, "I have to make room for new characters, but I'm easing up on the slaughter---not everyone's going out in a casket. Some will simply go away, others are still around but we just won't see them. Sorta like life."

Tomorrow is the season finale.  As to the above, the "original Heroes (Linderman, Petrelli's dad, etc.) want NY to be blown up.  It's part of their plan in re-shaping the world.  To have Sylar or at the time Peter, not detonate, would be counterproductive to their goals.

Pretty unsatisfying ending, but the new season sounds cool.
