2ch is not so sure about the smaller venue meaning no graduation. For some reason UFA couldn't perform in Yokohama and decided to add a venue in Tokyo, where the girls live and UFA offices are. That can have a second meaning to it. The change might be a schedule conflict issue. They replaced a one day, two shows on Yokohama for a two days, four shows on Tokyo: more shows to compensate the lack of Yokohama Arena. UFA approaches Yokohama only when Saitama is not available for the final gig; having both unavailable is quite weird.

Even without a graduation or a major event, UFA would guarantee a big gig for most Morning Musume concerts. Not having it is quite depressing because it's like assuming the current Morning Musume cannot fill it anymore. And that is sad. On a personal note, I think only Ai could fill a big venue for her graduation now; any of the other members could go off at one of the small ones, and this is what might be happening in May 2009 according to 2ch.

But MM doesn't have big concert events anyways like Yokohama and SSA anymore and they haven't for while. The only time they get those arena's are when someone is graduating or a H!P concert and never just for a regular MM concert tour. They have been performing at smaller halls for quite some time and I don't think they will use big arena's anymore just for a regular tour. Besides they are already using Yokohama for EC graduation. Doubt they would graduate an MM member with only a 2,000 seat venue.

Graduating the entire EC is already enough, they don't need to go and graduate a Morning Musume member at the moment.

Elders graduation is nothing important but a symbolic move. They simply won't go by the H!P umbrella anymore, but no one is quitting the music business. If Tsunku has something in mind, whether it is a graduation or an audition, he will still go ahead with it. Morning Musume remained the same for a long time already (considering its all time period in between grads and auditions) so it shouldn't take long before Tsunku makes a move.

It's 2ch we're talking about, occasionally they hit bull's eye and they do provide interesting information and 'insight' when they feel up to it, but most of the time they don't know as much as we do. As for no one other than Ai being able to fill a big venue for her grad, I would think if any of the gorokkies were graduated at a smaller venue there would be quite an uproar. And hasn't it been a long time since big venue concerts gradually started to disappear from MM concert schedules? It seems UFA is looking to reap in as much profit by scheduling more shows at smaller venues, than fill up the same number of people at a big venue playing less dates.

But the first thing that popped into my head is that she was alone, and the dude was just somehow there behind her, perhaps walking out at the same time that's all. Maybe they stay(ed) in the same building.

To me, it doesn't look too scandalous either. But that could just be me hoping it isn't. She, as well as, Momusu don't need this right now. but hey, if it's true, at least she picked a decent looking guy.

Looking at the pictures, they really don't look like they're a couple at all. The guy is just walking behind her talking on his cell phone and Ai is paying no attention to him. I think it's more like what shadowstar said.

If they were neighbours living in the same apartment/condo building, it would certainly increase the chances of shots like these happening. At any rate, there aren't shots of them holding hands or gazing into each others eyes or leaving in the same car/cab. More likely than not this was just coincidence.

I'm sorry, but just a few things, and I may be wrong but.....
1) - Do we know what building that is? Looks like an office building, or maybe TV studios? (Ai-chan is doing a drama folks)
2) - She's carrying a suitcase, maybe costumes for the drama? Rehearsal for concert?
3) - If it is a TV studio or office building, don't the girls go to those places with their assigned agents from UFA?
4) - The guy appears almost 3 meters behind Aichan as they leave the building, talking on a cellphone, but on all the other pics Aichan is alone, near a taxi stop, with the suitcase, so...where is the scandal?
