Now the MSE built into Windows 8, along with Secunia PSI (http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/) to keep stuff up to date.

I use MSE and Malewarebytes.

Seemed like MSE was not quite as weighty as some of the other free options I tried. But who knows, not the most computer literate.

For the past few years, I've been using eset nod32. Probably the best antivirus out right now that uses little resources and doesn't install with a bunch of bloatware.

i have been using AVG since 2010 or so...

opinion... its sometimes annoying because if you want to play a new installed games you need to disable it first T_T (ah well i downloaded the game so i guess the 'crack' is thought to be a virus or maleware)

i use microsoft security essentials and malwarebytes. i rarely go on sketchy websites so i think i am okay. im a safe-surfer

Im using avast.. Most downloadable of all free antivirus. its easy and safe to use

I'm using Avira. Of the free antiviruses, I prefer it the most even though it does get a little wonky with adding exceptions.

For those who can read chinese, I strongly recommend this Anti virus.

360 Anti virus and 360 Internet Security (It comes with set, idk why. LOL)

This both thing protect my comp since I started to use them. Easy to use and it's FREE!

Was using Avast until it's full scans slowed my laptop to a crawl. I swapped over to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware; I've had good results with it before, and it still work like a charm!
