He looked fine to me as there were also quite a freaks. I nearly started to download it also elsewhere but noticed it was for Real Player -there's no AVI version yet.

As far as my favorite new PV, I like JEWEL and Momentum the most. I think 1 LOVE is like the alterna of its time. Only a ton weirder. I'm going to go take some screencaps if anyone's interested! since I have the vobs~

Recently, my favorites are jewel and momentum also, but my all time favorites have to fairyland and bluebird...can't think of others at the moment, these are the four that stand out to me lately o.0

Hm... This is a hard one!

LOL Of the new PV's, I really like momentum and 1 LOVE~ JEWEL was really gorgeous, but kind of boring

I like the weird Ayu PV's! LOL Although I will agree, alterna was really strange~ but not as strange as Ladies Night o_O

For older PV's~ I'm going to go with Gray on Free & Easy^^ It's one of my favourite songs and the PV is definitely win for its plot! I loved her whole Joan of Arc phase for that one^^

I also love the PV for M~ Ayu looks so gorgeous in that wedding dress! :ONding:

I think some of Ayu's best PVs are the ones that don't appear to have symbolism, but do.

Some PVs try really hard to look symbolistic [they're still good of course] but it sort of just.. looks weird. Like About You with all the flashing scenes and weird-stuff going on..

I'd like to discuss one of my favorite PV's, Rainbow.

There's something so mysterious about this song to me, like, why wouldn't she include it in her album "Rainbow" at the last minute? Why was it saved for one of her least known albums? And what the heck is the PV about?

Clearly the PV theme is important because she continues the theme of "two Ayus" even into the cover of "A Ballads"

I feel like maybe it represents Ayu always trying to keep up with both sides of herself (just because she seems to be chasing herself hrough a lot of it), one that's a performer and song writer and one that likes to keep her emotions private and reserved.

I really love the Rainbow PV too

It's definitely one of Ayu's more serious PV's and I have to say I totally agree with your analysis of it. The end was especially meaningful for me, since I saw the two Ayus sitting together to talk as Ayu coming to terms with herself. However, when one of the Ayus disappears at the end, I think it means that even though she might have a better understanding of herself, she will never truly be able to reconcile her two sides. Also, I think the Ayu she chases represents her insecure, frightened self~ the one who perhaps still isn't over the fact that her father abandoned her, can't understand her mother, etc. Thus, the "stronger" Ayu chases her, wanting to comfort her^^ At least, that's what I think

I totally agree! And you're compleatly right about the end part, I hadn't even thought about that! The lyrics (I read the translation before) talk about her father directly too) I just love that PV

LOL Like you said, they should have put it on RAINBOW (which I believe they were supposed to have~ At least it was listed as a track title when RAINBOW was first being released, if I remember right

They intended on creating the full track after the album.

The track '00' was an instrumental for people to draw inspiration from and submit lyrics/words/sentences to a website so that Ayu could look over them and write lyrics from those for the full RAINBOW. :]
