^ I think arian does not say it because of the Gold Era power but because MoMu really needs someone who believes in the group. Now Yossie will be gone, it's like a full circle. Now there's truly no piece from that Gold Era puzzle. So whoever takes the rides must be genki and optimistic about the future, and despite Miki has the skills, she might not have the enthusiasm. I think that's arian point.

We've seen a very lazy Miki in many perfs, and those who lived her entrance to the group will remember her face was not too happy on the first days. She was rejected at first, then made it to solo, then put in the group. Be Miki for a second: would you like this resumé? She's more adult and mature, and she loves Aya, and Aya is in GAM. So either Aya joins MoMu (which my most extended fear since Tsunku added Miki) or Miki just develops a true love for the group and makes everyone show a strength power. Why KAT-TUN sells better than NewS? Because KAT-TUN is the hard-looking rockish boys while NewS are the soft ones, MoMu alike. So if Miki can give MoMu a new "strengthful" image I am sure they will really show a new group.

My point exactly

Miki needs to know that she's now in charge of the group, she needs to keep each and every member motivated and positive about themselves and the rest of the members. The whole group would just crumble if the spirit is no longer there.

Couldn't've said it better myself. But I wouldn't be too worried about him adding Aya to the group- that'd be way weird, wouldn't it? I mean, Miki hadn't put out many singles/albums before she was put in Momusu, right? It seems like Aya's been around forever.. if he put her in Momusu.. I think there would be a serious backlash.
Though I think Miki needs to stop being so damn "ugh why am I even here" and GENKI up.

Aya is way more popular. Every JE fan I know can name her singles better than MoMusu's current names. She won't join MM. Maybe if she wasn't in GAM and Tsunku would have had a very bad rainy day, maybe she would. But no, she will kick ass solo. If Tsunku would ask her to join MoMusu, she'd quit and go to Avex where BoA would take care of her. Then Miki would also quit and go with Aya. And it would be a massive quitting. So Tsunku better not asks her to be in MM xD

Yeah, but like what was said, sales count mean squat at the moment when you compare Ayaya to every H!P act. Pretty much everyone knows her, but name a current (or even past) Momusu member and a lot of people will scratch their heads and ask who that is.

Besides that, she's on way more talk/variety shows and promoting tons of Japanese products out there. Ayaya dominates Japan, it's really pointless to compare her to a group like Momusu.

Which is why her being added to the group? No chance in hell.
