i dont think thats her brother?
she is 7 years (almost eight) years older than he is
this was before she joined h!p,
an old photo that floated about years ago
she was probably 14 at the time,
which means he was 6/7.
(plus why do i think that person in the back in a girl >"<)

i am extremely saddened and shocked by the news.
i hope she and her family gets through this.
and i think she has cut off all contact with other people,
no one has been able to reach her yet.
at least thats the impression i got from the news sources...

Sorry, according to three japanese Yossi fan sites, that pic was taken in 2004 or 2005, and they all say the person in the back wearing black is her dead brother. If you say she was 14 when this was taken, she's the most mature 14 years old I've seen, more mature even than when she joined MM. By the way, the first time I saw that pic was in December 2005

(i have it in my old computer)
with other pics of her and her volleyball friends from junior high,
so thats why i said i dont think thats her brother...

Given time, Yossi will let us all know (one way or another) what she wants in terms of proceeding (early) with or delaying her Grad concert. Whatever that decision is, we'll all continue to love and support her. As was said earlier here, all she needs right now is time to sort things out. We'll still be here if/when she's ready to return.

^ Agreed, she's the one that will make the decisions for herself, and i know H!P, MM and fans across the continent will continue to support her and her family as they go through this sad and upsetting period of time. Be strong Yossie! You'll pull through!

I just read about this a couple hours ago on a Japanese news website.

Gads... this is tragic. I wonder if this will either hasten her exit from the group or trigger a longer-than-usual hiatus. My thoughts go out to her and her family.

Of course you wouldn't cry over this because this is not your brother. Imagine how it feels when one of your family member died. Yossi must be devastated by his brother's death.

And I hope no releases will get affected by this.

God.. these are really shocking news...
my condolences to Yoshizawa family
what I'm worried about right now is Yossi's health. she seemed to be a bit better lately but with this.. let's hope she won't get worst.
If Yossi's the strong girl that she seems to be, she won't give up o her dream and after all the time that she'll need to recover, she'll be back to work with the support of all the people that loves her.

This is such a shock.

I can't even imagine what Yossie must be going through, but like len.chan said, she seems like a strong girl, so I hope she will be able to get through this. And that picture of blood in the news report was so unnecessary, I'd be so offended if it had been my brother. My condolences definitely go out to the family.
