The Bourne Ultimatum - by Robert Ludlum

50 pages in and already different from the movie (Bourne is 50 and has a wife and kids for a start). Interesting read though.

Got 2 books for Christmas:

Crusade by Robyn Young - A novel set in, would you believe it, the time of the Crusades. Reading through it now and it already draws parallels from today's world. Really enjoying it.

Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden - Doesn't need explaining does it? If you haven't seen the movie already, do so.

I started reading:
1984
by George Orwell

This book is about the state knowing exactly what people do. If you do something wrong you'll disappear.
Because the book was written in 1948 it made a futuristic view that doesn't seem so unrealistic nowadays.
That's because you'll appear on camera's everywhere. And governments busy with searching terrorists.
Most famous quote from the book must be: big brother is watching you

The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman (Part 3 of his Dark Materials series)

Very close to the end of this one. Will be interesting to see how it ends, seeing how much controversy this series has been stirring up within Christian groups with the release of The Golden Compass (Part 1 of the series) to the big screen.

Just started The Silmarillion. Watched all three LOTR films together, recently (never having seen ROTK in the first place), so now I must have MOAR.
