Well yeah the one they were lying down looked pretty "corpse-ish"

but overall the making of was good. Everyone looked gorgeous and Sayu was awesome of course :MKlove2:

I retouched it a bit and cleared out the words etc from the mag scan

It's always seemed to me like she's being facetious when she says these things (see: the infamous "I'm the only true beauty" segment on Utaban). It's just that a lot of people take her character seriously and paint her as a narcissist.

Hmmm...Maybe it wasn't Utaban? It was one of the music shows, I'm prolly wrong about which one though.

Rika is graduating and appoints Sayu as her "successor", so Yumi goes on this spiel about how she's the "only true beauty here" and such. I'm sure you've seen it TB, it's been discussed in this thread before but I'm too lazy to dig it up

Anyways...that was the birth of Sayu's self-obsessed character. To me it seems like an obvious joke but it certainly spawned some haters that took it too seriously.

I think it was Music Fighter... It was Rika's Graduation Special. And then they had a similar segment again on Music Fighter for the promotion of 色っぽいじれったい (Koharu's debut on the show).

Thanks for taking the trouble to do this. I'll read through it slowly to understand Sayu more.

Since you guys are talking about how much Sayu loves herself, maybe I should throw in my 2 cents too

The whole "I love me cuz I'm so gorgeous" thing has got to be fake. Sure, the girl probably does think she's pretty but she just takes it another level for the laughs. It's her onscreen character and it's funny so why not. And I love her more for being able to do it. I'm sure there are more than a couple of people who got won over by this personality. There's no way anyone can hate Sayumi for ever. As seen in reine's pic, this girl is beautiful :baa60776:
