and BTW I also think both songs have the same melodic progression in the chorus as the chorus for Kara's Honey.

Honey isn't as much of a rip of the Franki Valli song as the AKB song though.

Also words cannot describe how much End Roll is my jam right now. The whole package: the song, the dance, the styling, everything but the vocals were on Kpop level.

Looks like AKB48 members are going to be regulars on Goro's new show G.I.Goro. It's a continuation of Goro's previous show Goro's Bar Presents My Fair Lady, which recently featured AKB48 as guests in its final two episodes. I think they might be rotating AKB48 members for each episode. Judging by the website and Sayaka and Sae's blog entries, they'll be wearing maid outfits in every episode. I was wondering why the AKB48 team had G.I.Goro listed on their nametags during that Thanksgiving show.

Anyone know a way to preorder Majisuka Gakuen Special Box? Not the regular one available on cdJapan, Amazon, etc. I can only find it at AKB official shop, and while I do have a Japanese adress I can ship it too, I don't have a Japanese credit card (it wouldn't accept my foreign one). I'll be heading over to Japan in July so I can't pay at a konbini.

I know there are some companies who will order Japan exclusive stuff for you, but I'd prefer not to use that.

Thanks. I decided to register because of the great AKB48 forums here.

I knew about the group since long ago, but always thought they were "just another Morning Musume" idol group. I remember seeing a few guys fiddling with their AKB48 trading cards at the McDonalds near SofMap Honten in Akihabara back in 2008. Oh, how I regret having that view of them back then.

After watching Majisuka Gakuen (my main interest up until now was regular Japanese drama series), I decided to check out their latest songs and now here I am, waiting for my order of Kamikyoku-tachi

^ I haven't seen much proof of it, but Nakanishi Yuuka of SKE used to be an AKB Kenkyuusei, so there may have been quite a number of bonding there with the other members that were previously Kenkyuusei.
