On the JaME World website an article on Matsuura Aya's tour "AYA The Witch" has been posted, "AYA the Little Witch, Report and Exclusive Video Message".

The video message is subtitled in English. Versions of the video with subtitles in many other languages are on their YouTube channel: http://jp.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=jamechannel

HOLY, could this be the foreshadow of a possible appearance at Japan Expo???

btw is this the first time a non-asian magazine has an almost-interview with a H!P member?

Ayaya 2009 Calendar. :D

If it weren't for the fact that I was already planning on taking pics of it to share with ya'll, it'd still be wrapped in it's original wrapping plastic. As it stands now, it's been opened, photographed, re-rolled and put back in it's original wrapping plastic (which now has a hole in one end). :P  Did my best to minimize the glare from the camera flash.

Cover | Jan-Feb | Mar-Apr | May-June

Jul-Aug | Sept-Oct | Nov-Dec | Extra Poster

Personally, right now my fave is the Nov-Dec page. :thumbsup

If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now...

Since I'd start expanding my love for H!P outside of MoMusu, Matsuura Aya caught my attention.

She's pretty, strong personality, funny, and have a great voice.  I like listening to her mellow, soft pop songs like kizuna, hitori, dearest, egao, Suna wo Kamu You ni...NAMIDA, etc. as well as upbeat pop songs like her earlier music.  She definitely have a nice voice to listen to.  i dunno about singing voices, but if I have to put it to words... not too high or low; clear; strong; stable; able to hold a note.

I just want to say it out now cuz I don't really ever visit her thread and she became one of my underappreciated H!P idol, that I don't pay enough attention to her, even though I'd always felt she talented and pretty.  And now it may be almost too late since she'll be graduating in March 2009 from Hello! Project.
I wish her the best after H!P, whether she'll stay w/ UFA or not, still be an entertainer, idol, performer, artist or none of the above.
I wish she still able to sing her current style of music, mature pop songs, or any other style she wants.  And that she obtain the success she deserves.
Ganbare yo! Matsuura Aya-san! (~Ayaya!~ xD

A couple of GIFs I made from Aya's latest CM, for FamilyMart's fried chicken. :)

A little more info (as well as a DL of the CM itself) are available at the above linked Mattthecat's Matsuurian Archives. :thumbsup

Aya look so beautiful in those CMs  ... and funny, the japanese sure knows how to make a cute and funny CM...

funny, cuz just earlier today, I bought and made some japanese sushi rice but use it for onigiri instead... hehe...  first time cooking japanese rice, usually cook Thai Jasmine Rice...  but anyway, what a coincidence.

btw, I'm actually listening to her songs right now, some great classics one like Yeah! Mecha Holiday and Momoiro Kataomoi to her latest and soothing melody like Kizuna, Egao and Dearest. I'd been listening to her soft-pop songs for like a year or so and really enjoy it.  On a recent translation on Sayu's Konya UsaPeace radio show, she said that Aya's voice have a healing effect, and that's exactly how I think of it.  she can sing her classics and a very cute and funny way yet she can also sing her more adult songs in such a soothing, healing voice.
my point is,  What a Great Voice!

I watched them once each and before I knew it, I was whisting the song while washing dishes. XD But at least it's not a crappy song.

Mmmm, Aya makes one HOT OL. Love her outfit in the first one. End shot was like

I also posted this in the news thread. For those that don't visit there, here it is again.

The official Hello! Project site lets us know the following:

While at home on January 5th Matsuura Aya has hit her left foot hard. The diagnosis was that the fourth toe on her left is broken. Complete recovery is expected to take six weeks.
Matsuura Aya will participate in the January 10th Elder Club concert with a taped foot to fixate the broken toe. It is likely that the original intended performance is not reachable.

Ouch. That doesn't sound too good. Get better soon Aya!

Though the real question everyone should be asking is, how did she hit her left foot? Perhaps Miki was a little too adventurous with Aya that night?  Could make good fanfic material

I really like Ayaya's hair lately. XD

The curling-in-towards-her-face is so cute~~~ :inlove:
She also looks freakin gorgeous in the pics from the jacket of Omoi Afurete. I'm in love with the red checked dress and the fancy black one.
Just felt like bumping. :P
