“I can’t believe you’re finally getting married. How long have you guys been engaged?” Risa asked, sitting cross-legged on the hotel room bed and twirling a streamer in her hand. Ai recognized the tell tale sign of her nervousness, the two having been friends for decades.
“Since I was born, it’s an arranged marriage Gaki-san. I’ve only known the guy for two years.” They sat alone in the aftermath of Ai’s energetic bachelorette party after making sure their drunk friends made it home okay. Both hadn’t felt up to drinking, the weight of what tomorrow meant was sobering.
“Still, tomorrow is your wedding day. Aren’t you happy?” Risa asked desperately, “Tell me you’ll be happy Ai-chan, so I can be happy for you.” Both girl’s eyes filled with tears.
Their mothers were childhood friends and the two girls had always been together, forming an instant bond since their first meeting. Their bond eventually grew into a mutual love that lasted throughout their teenage years. Until, when Ai turned 18, it was announced that the older girl was to marry.
She had, of course, fought against the arrangement for two long years, but to no avail. The only thing she managed to do was completely destroy her relationship with her father and isolate herself from the rest of her family. When she finally had no other choice but to give in, she did and met with her future husband.
He was a rich businessman and nice enough, but bland and uninteresting and borderline sexist. All he wanted was a pretty face to cook and pop out babies for him and Ai had no intention of doing either. She figured she could just do the required wedding night thing and avoid the issue till she died.
“I don’t want you to be happy for me. I want you to be happy with me. There’s no way I’ll ever love anyone except for you, Risa.” the younger girl began to sob at Ai’s words and they kissed deeply, “Tonight’s the last night of freedom I’ll have in a long while. Stay with me.” They made love into the early hours of the morning.

“I do.” Ai said flatly through her streaming tears. Even with her blurred vision, she locked eyes with Risa in the second row, noticing her crying as well. This was the saddest day of her life.
Her attention turned back to her husband when his lips pressed chastely against hers, and the audience erupted into cheers at his claim on her. He pulled back and gave Ai a large smile, one she could return only weakly. The rest of the service and the reception went by in a blur of well wishers and pleasantries. The one person Ai really wanted to talk to did not approach her and they spent their time watching each other from opposite sides of the room.
“Are you ready for cake?” her husband asked, snapping Ai’s attention to him. She gave a false smile and nodded, feigning happiness as they followed the traditional smash cake into each other’s faces.

After everything was said and done, Ai found herself entering their honeymoon suite nervously, a knot of dread settling low in her stomach. She couldn’t even take in the amazing sight out the window or appreciate the beauty of the room. She only wished she was with Risa.
“Are you nervous?” her husband asked her softly, laying a hand at the small of her back. “Is this your first time?” The hand rubbed in gentle circles, but also herded her towards the bed.
“I am and yes.” she lied about the second question, unwilling to tell him that she’d lost her virginity long ago to her best friend. He laid her back on the bed and began to undress her, holding her gaze in an attempt to be romantic. When he reached for her underwear, she had to look away.
He was gentle with her, but she felt no pleasure. He knew what he was doing, but she never reached release. Ai could only blink back tears and think of her.

Ai clutched onto Risa’s hand as if she would be lost without the contact. It really wasn’t too far from the truth. The younger girl hadn’t answered her phone calls for two months after her marriage and this was the first time they had gotten together since.
“So, Ai-chan, how are you adjusting to m-married life?” Risa tried to smile as she asked this, but couldn’t hide her stutter.
“It’s okay, I guess. He’s not you.” the younger girl looked down to gain control of that flash of pain that came over her face. “I want to go out with you.”
“We can’t do this, Ai. You have a responsibility to him now, you have to be faithful.” Risa was forced to look into her lover’s eyes when her hands cupped her chin.
“No, I have to be faithful to you, you’re the only thing that’s ever mattered to me and I need you. Please, stay with me, don’t make me face this alone.” Risa could never deny her girlfriend anything when she gave her such an honestly pleading face and this was no exception.
“…Okay.” she agreed and leaned in to seal the deal with a kiss. “Ai, this is still a problem. You’re married, you’re his. He’ll expect certain things from you, like children and the act that comes with children.” The older girl looked suddenly guilty, “What?”
“I haven’t slept with him since our honeymoon, but I don’t need to. I’m already pregnant.”

Ai waddled into the kitchen under the watchful eyes of her lover. Her extended belly was heavy in the last stages of her pregnancy and as such the motherly woman had been making herself a pest in worry. It was rather cute, but annoying to the hormonal Ai and they often butted heads lately. Finally, after being babied last week, she’d finally put her foot down about taking care of herself.
Pouring the hot tea into a cup carefully, Ai wrapped her hand around the warm mug and brought it to her nose to inhale the relaxing scent. She couldn’t wait to pop this sucker out and get it over with. Her back ached to the point she couldn’t sleep, she hadn’t seen her feet in weeks, but could guess they were swollen, and she hadn’t been able to exercise properly with all the precariously balanced weight.
Soft hands pressing comfortingly into her lower back made her sigh. Risa gently massaged the point she knew hurt the most, “Why don’t you come back into the living room and I’ll rub your feet?” Ai allowed herself to be ushered back onto the ottoman recliner while her lover pulled up a chair in front of her.
“I hate this.” The older girl felt hormonal tears well up in her eyes and angrily wiped them away. “I’m crying all the time, I’m cranky and in pain and I’m fat now.” She saw Risa roll her eyes good naturedly at the familiar gripes.
“Except for the fat part, how is that different from normal? Besides, you’re not fat, your pregnant and beautiful. And soon, all that weight will be born into a baby that cries all night and poops constantly and does nothing but mooch off of you for the next twenty years. I think that’s what you should be crying about.” Ai couldn’t help but laugh at her girlfriend’s dry words and Risa leaned forward to lay a kiss on the swollen ankle in her grip. “No matter what, I’ll be here. I’ll help you take care of your little monster too.”
Ai tugged the younger woman up to lock their lips together passionately. Their hands began to roam, but Ai pulled back with a hiss when Risa’s hands brushed against her breasts through the rough fabric covering them.
“Are you okay?” Risa asked when tears filled her eyes. Ai nodded pouting, bottom lip quivering.
“It’s sensitive.” she whimpered, clutching her lover’s shoulders.
“I’ll be gentle.” Risa promised, helping Ai shed her shirt and bra. The younger girl paused to take in the sight. Because of the baby, Ai’s breasts had grown much larger and her stomach swelled attractively on her slim frame, “You are so beautiful.”
“You don’t have to sweet talk me, I’m still gonna sleep with you.” Ai joked with a blush, looking away shyly. Risa climbed into the chair with her and their bodies pressed together snuggly.
“I want you to know I love you, all of you. Even when you feel bad, even when you don’t think you look your best, even when we argue.” Risa pressed her lips against her lover’s nipples, gaining a loud moan. She was gentle as promised and made love to Ai as if they had all the time in the world.

“Mama!” Ai’s two year old daughter cried, tugging on her pants and begging to be picked up. The frazzled woman obliged, watching as, across the room, Risa was playing her four year old son in a game and howling in loss in normal reaction queen mode. This was the routine they had settled in over the years. Almost everyday, Risa would come over while her husband was away and they would play with the kids and then make love while they napped. Since she worked nights, it was a perfect set up.
The younger woman looked up and their eyes met, Risa gave a huge happy smile and Ai returned it sincerely. All four looked up when the front door opened and Ai’s husband came through. “Daddy!” Their son ran towards his father and latched around his legs, while their daughter buried her head in Ai’s neck and whimpered. She obviously had no love for this stranger.
Ai and Risa exchanged another look, this time alarmed, “What are you doing home so early, dear?” the older woman asked nervously. Were they found out? He didn’t seem mad. Her husband came over to her and leaned in, intent on kissing her soundly, but Ai turned her head at the last minute and his lips grazed her cheek instead.
“It’s out anniversary, honey, did you forget?” He asked obliviously, “I’m taking you out tonight.” He turned to Risa, “Here, can you take the kids out and keep them busy for us?” He held out a wad of bills, which the younger woman stared at incredulously. She looked at Ai and raised her eyebrow, but her lover could only give her an apologetic look.
“Yeah, sure. Come on guys, who wants pizza?!” Risa asked in false excitement, immediately getting cries of assent. She went over to take Ai’s daughter from her arms, her hands lingering for a second as they shared a conversation through their eyes.
Risa made it clear she was annoyed, while Ai apologized again. Then the younger rolled her eyes and her expression changed to one of concern. Ai could only shake her head, indicating that there was nothing they could do. Finally, Risa turned and took the cash from Ai’s husband, “Have fun, guys.” she choked out flatly.
Ai gave a shaky grin to him when the door closed, “Where to?”

After a lovely, but boring dinner, they returned to the still empty house and he led her to their bedroom. Ai felt a familiar dread settle in her stomach, to the point where she felt physically sick. “Wait, I-I don’t feel well, maybe I’ll just go to bed.” she stuttered out, but he pressed his lips to hers eagerly.
Ai tried to push him away, but he was insistent, “We haven’t been together in a long time. I want this.” His hands were pulling at her clothes and she began to cry.
“Stop. Wait, no don’t.” He ripped her collar until the shirt fell to her feet and held her wrists from pounding on his head. His hands roughly roamed her chest and she let out a loud sob, “Stop!”
Finally, her heartfelt scream seemed to draw his attention to her state, but instead of being sympathetic, he just looked annoyed. With a disgusted snort, he shoved her to the bed and left the room. Ai curled up into a ball and sobbed, faintly hearing the front door slam shut and his car tear down the street.

Risa found her like this, not much later, immediately rushing to engulf her in a comforting embrace. “Shh, I’m here, I’m here, don’t worry.” Neither women noticed the children watching from the doorway in innocent concern. Risa placed gentle kisses on her lover’s face and head until her sobbing finally calmed.
“He tried to, but I said no and then he almost.” Before she could send herself into hysterics again, the younger woman shushed her.
“Why don’t you and the kids stay with me tonight?” Risa suggested gently, but Ai shook her head.
“He’ll be mad if I’m not here.” Ai said, not without a little fear, “Will you stay here, though? With me?” Her lover was nodding almost before she finished the sentence.
They stayed in the guest room together, fully clothed, but pressed close together. Under the watchful eyes of the kids until morning.

Risa found herself hurled against the wall and crashed to the floor with a groan of pain. On the bed, Ai awoke with a start as her husband yanked her to her feet and began to scream at her. “You whore! You slut! I know you’ve been cheating on me since we were first married, but with a woman!?”
Before she could open her mouth, a fist landed against her jaw, the force of the blow sending her to the ground. She looked over to the ground on the other side of the bed and saw Risa’s still form laying face down. A hand grabbed her by the hair and picked her up painfully, throwing her shoulder first into a dresser.
“How dare you make me look bad! How dare you not be faithful!” Out of the corner of her eye, Ai saw the fist heading towards her again and ducked, hearing it slam into the dresser. She scrambled to her feet and watched as her enraged husband shook his aching hand.
“You haven’t been faithful either! I know you’ve been sleeping with your secretary for years!” Ai shot back, slowly backing up. Over his shoulder, she caught a glimpse of something, but didn’t dare turn her attention to it.
“I don’t have to be faithful to you, you’re my wife! Maybe it will teach you a lesson if your lover ended up dead.” He charged over to where Risa had fallen and Ai was after him a moment too late to stop him.
“No!” she cried, but he had frozen. Risa was gone from her spot.
When he turned around, he was met in the face with a heavy metal lamp, getting knocked out instantly. “Surprise, asshole. No one messes with my Ai-chan.” Risa growled, blood dripping from a cut over her eye.

It was late at night when the two cars pulled onto the dock. No one was around as the feminine forms worked in the shadows. Ai and Risa had kept the husband knocked out all day while they kidnapped his secretary. Now they were going to kill them both.
It took a lot of strength to position him in the driver’s seat of his car and strap him in, luckily, she was lighter and easily slid into the passenger side. Neither stirred. A cinder block was placed on the gas petal and the car thrown into gear. It’s flight off the dock and into the water was majestic.
Both women watched as it sunk into the churning waves, holding each other tightly and waiting an extra long time to make sure nobody surfaced. The windows had been cracked to assure maximum flooding and after nearly an hour, they returned to Risa’s car, intending to drive back to Ai’s house.
Tomorrow the older girl would call and report her husband missing. Unless the police found the car and the bodies soon, there would be almost no suspicion placed on the poor wife. She would just find out that he had cleaned the bank account and took off with his mistress, leaving her with the kids.
That was alright with Ai. Her and Risa shared a sensual kiss in the younger woman’s apartment, their children playing behind them. This would work.

Not sure how good this one is. It just amused me that Ai likes this song so much when it "lyrically discusses fantasizing about a woman while being in bed with a man." Though I think I went a little overboard here...
EDIT: BTW, I realize some of the lyrics are wrong, but it was different on every site I went to.... So I just picked what sound most like the song. Does Lady Gaga even know what her lyrics are?
