Barrera vs. Juarez 2 tomorrow.
I really didn't like Juarez before because in one of the matches held in his hometown, he was against a Cuban Olympian boxer and it was obvious that the ref was on Juarez's side. His opponent was quite good but in every 3 of 10 punches he throws, the ref warns him for low blows until the warnings became point deductions. Halfway of the match Juarez was already leading with a lot of points even without landing puches. That was a really screwed up match. Umaga vs. some unknown jobber would have been more interesting.
But in his 1st match against Barrera, Juarez did land the more convincing blows and he should have won that. Boxing is quite a mystery. The only sure way you know the victory is your is when you put your opponent to sleep. Or if you paid the ref or judges good money.
Edit:
Barrera won via UD. He was the more well-conditioned boxer this time. Juarez couldn't even get close because of the jabs. He was forced out of his gameplan while Barrera stuck to his and sailed all the way to victory.
