I'm doing you a favour by warning you now, if you're a fan of the Far Cry games then don't watch, for everyone else, the new trailer is well worth watching for comedy value alone:

It's strange because I thought they cut out the bad acting when it came to making trailers, but apparently not. Seems like a really badly scripted version of Universal Soldier and there's even a joke about a gun shaped like a penis. Or the penis is like a gun, it's very subtle.

On Friday, hapless German auteur Uwe Boll, director of such critically unloved, money-losing video-game adaptations as Alone in the Dark, BloodRayne II: Deliverance, and recent epic In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, gave an interview to horror-movie Website FEARnet in which he was asked about this online petition to get him to retire from filmmaking, which, at the time, boasted around 18,000 signatures. "18,000 is not enough to convince me," said Boll. How many would it take? "One million," he answered.
