^Yeah, I agree. Poor Aya has just been stuck in this bubble-gum, squeeky clean, kind of boring image that H!P has stuck her in as a soloist, when she's very capable of a much more interesting output of music (which we saw in her GAM experience, if you ask me... that was some really good music). I hope this will be an inspiration to her to move forward in her goal to be a real singer, too.
I keep checking Gocchin's official site and hoping there will be more announcements, like something about a coming single. I want to hear her singing something new so badly.
i just wonder, maki is under other company now..so, does she will be able to sing her previous songs after this.?? as all of them is under UFA copyright...or does she will be consider as newborn (debut) artist.??
I think it depends on the respective egos of both companies, UFA and Avex. UFA could be bitter and stick to their song rights and Avex could be arrogant and not want anything to do with work by another company. However, if they didn't, it could be in both of their interests if she did sing her old stuff now and then. For UFA, it would remind people that that is where Maki came from and look good on them. For Avex, it would take fans back to the time where they first knew Maki and re-establish the "bond" between artist and fan, instead of establish a feeling like she is a completely new artist, starting from scratch, without those prior connections to fans.
