About tickets:
Nu äntligen kommer det lite biljettinformation.
Den 29:e december släpps biljetterna till STOCKHOLM JAPAN EXPO 2009.
Du kan skaffa dessa via Ticnet.se och deras ombud runt om i Sverige och med Ticketfast om du bor utanför Sverige.
Priset är 500kr (+Ticnets serviceavgift) för 3 dagar (HELBILJETT).
Kom ihåg att det endast släpps dagsbiljetter i mån av plats, vill du se konserter måste du ha HELBILJETT.

Basically tickets were out from Dec 29. Buying them for 500 sek on Ticnet will give you a Full ticket, with the including performing artists. There will be tickets sold on the spot for day-passes which are only released if there's available room and claims not to be valid for performing artists. nach posted the page for the Ticnet website, it's in english if you wanna take a chance and get one. And yes, H!O and the official H!P website were wrong about 400 sek. It's 500 sek + Ticnet's fee which is like 20 - 60 sek iirc. And there's only 3000 tickets.
I've mailed SJX, asking about Bouno. Hopefully I'll get an answer quickly that will confirm or deny the news on the official H!P website. I'll get back to y'all when I know.

I'll probably get one soon then and hope I'll manage to get there in the end :lol:
EDIT: I just created an account and I'm happy they (only) offer the TicketFast method which means we can print the tickets by ourselves and don't need to worry about picking them up somewhere etc.
But I'm not going to actually buy one now.
The tickets are valid all days then right? I'll go there on the 24th only though anyway.

Well I personally aint getting no ticket until SJX have confirmed Momo & Co (Obviously I can't spell Buono so this is what i'll call them now) are coming.
The full price ticket sold on Ticnets website are according to SJX site eligible for the entire Expo (both days or three, or whatever) including performing artists, but exclusive the club on Saturday night, 18+ and alcohol. :twothumbs

1) It's like 9 hours from here, and expensive to get there!
2) I'm pretty sure I have no one that will come with me
3) I bus-hiked to stockholm for the first time, like two weeks ago, to see Katy Perry. And it was fun but it was so exhausting! I don't know if I can do it all over again, and alone?? (this time I would take the train though)
4) I didn't like the place I stayed at a few weeks ago, and again, I wasn't alone at that time. And you can't book a hotel if you're under 18. T__T

So I mailed them earlier about Momo&co, they put up the news before I got the reply, or they put it up coz of it, lol. Anyways, they asked from what forum we are lol. Maybe some of the arrangers are lurkers here? :O
Anyways, I've asked SJX about the tickets. If they know how many are left. It didn't say on Ticnet. They might not be able to tell, if Ticnet is handling it all themselves, but it's a long shit. If I get a reply I'll post it.
Edit: And got my fifth response. I said about 10 of us don't have a ticket yet. And they kindly replied that it shouldn't be a problem but it wont harm to be out in time. I take that as there'll probably be tickets left tomorrow, but they can run of them before May.
Taken they've had them since December 29th, the demand for them can't have been insane thus far. Hard to tell with momo&co tho. So get yer shit together ASAP and buy one just to be sure.

I have some money saved and seeing an H!P act in sweden isn't likely to happen again anytime soon. So I'm going!
I live 45 minutes away from stockholm with local train (in Marsta, 5 minutes from Arlanda airport) so If anyone want's I can produce like, 2-4 beds if anyone is desperate enough to live with me on my grandparents farm for a few days.
I know for a fact that 2 beds are avaliable, but I have like 2 mattresses too if the beds on the other floor is taken. We usually take 250 sek for a night but maybe I can get it down too 100 sek. Special H!P-price. ^_^
On a sidenote; we have both cats and dogs. If anyone is allergic or scared.

We (so far me, Stryfe, Yehat, Jeskko, Trad) are planning on travelling to Stockholm on a day boat from Turku, most likely on Saturday. It leaves from Turku at 08:45 and arrives at 18:00 in Stockholm. If you order tickets 30 days early and share a cabin, you can get to Stockholm REALLY cheap this way! So please join us if you're thinking of coming so we can share cabins and be happy together forever! Each cabin takes 4 people.

I'm trying to persuade my mon into seeing how good an idea it is to both travel to London (where we'll be going anyways) AND Sweden in May. I wonder how long there will be tickets left (if there still are), because I'm pretty sure that with a little time and hard work I'll have her convinced as she isn't completely against the idea :D
However I think it's best if my name could be taken from the list as I'm not sure I'm going and I'll post here when I know. I'll probably go with a boat from Helsinki and be there only for the day when Buono performs if I go (though it seemed from the site that the tickets can be bought only for the whole 3 days and not for one day so that makes it a bit of an waste of money).

After a very long debate, we decided we will not be attending the concert in Sweden :(
Main reasons:
1. Buono is great, but they're not one of my true top favorite acts out there.
2. As a result, it just isn't worth the money. We calculated that the entire trip (plain, hotel, tickets etc) should run in the 400+ euro region. Better to save up for what I really want, which is seeing an Otsuka Ai and AKB48 show in Japan.
The main incentive for going is meeting you peepz in real life, which will probably happen sometime.

^ Awww. That's too bad.. In a way. Yet the right decision I suppose. Definitely seems right to prioritize Japan before Sweden. Then of course I spent about 2000€ going to Thailand (twice) to see SNSD, lol.

Thanks for backing up my reasons for not going. I know in the end it's the right choice, but missing out on the first ever H!P performance in Europe and not meeting you guys still sucks. Be sure to take lots of pics and write reviews :)

I've had some convo's with the arrangers. And they're pushing for a handshake/interview session for Buono!. I'm thinking maybe we should try to pull some scrap together and make a gift or something for them?

I want to make a scrapbook of some kind :3
I'd like people to send in a picture that they have taken about the country/city where they live (just random nature or some tourist spot, doesn't matter because the name of the country will be written on the page. And the picture can also be old, I know that Finland isn't the prettiest at this time of the year), and then we'd add Buono! members in the pics and make a "Buono! around the world" scrapbook, LOL... Like Buono!'s adventures, but at the same time it would show a lot of places where they have fans.
I'd be willing to do it, but yeah, that's a lot of printing and our printer isn't 100%... Would I have to get them printed at some overpriced place? D: Also, I'd love to convince Chrno to draw the Buono members that we could paste to each pic >_> so that it would be very personalized, and Chrno's artwork is the best... IN THE WORLD! :3

No shirenu. It's not just an idea. It's an AWESOME idea. It wont only show them they have fans from everywhere, but sends a message that they should push to go to more places around the world. I almost start crying when i think of the sentimental value in something like this. :)

Well sounds like a nice idea, I wouldn't have to make an extra sign showing my country then. Speaking of adding them, reminds me of ChrNo taking miya to Eiffel Tower and stuff.
What bothers me a little about this is that I would/will probably have to go downtown to take a photo because I wouldn't want to show them this part here since it's too boring. Wouldn't be a problem if it weren't kind of pricey. For Momo I should do it however.
Sucks that I haven't booked the flight yet nor the hotel. I'm going to be so broke...

I don't know about what quality I'd need yet, I haven't even thought about what size the scrapbook should be! :lol: Not sure how it should all be put together. I know I've got tons of A4 plastic pocket pages, which would protect the pages from getting worn out, but I'm not sure that's the best thing (visually or otherwise). It's all a big question mark still. BUT anyway, as long as the picture isn't tiny or absolutely horrible quality, it should be okay? :lol:
(LOL@ trying to decide on a picture to use. I'm too much of a perfectionist. "The grass isn't green enough in this picture. This picture doesn't have water/a lake, so it's not good enough. There's not enough snow in this picture." :rofl: It really doesn't matter that much...)

Yes, why not XD If everyone has their own page or half a page, you can have your own input on what you want on it. & You could also give a separate pic that I could put somewhere on the page, like "picture by Blu-Cherri/whateveryouwanttobecalled" + picture of ur face XD

It would be nice if I could get everyone's pics by May 1st (that leaves everyone a bit over 2 weeks time to find a picture), then I'd have most of May to work on it. That ok? lol In digital form obviously (haha my dad is going to kill me for printing this much stuff)

I'd love to have a t-shirt, but there are reasons why I'm not volunteering to do it :lol: Mostly reasons related to money. Custom t-shirts are mad expensive unless you get them in a bulk, and there's just not enough of us for that, I think. And I'd love to give a t-shirt for free at least to the forum regulars, but I just can't afford handing out people t-shirts that cost 20 euros a piece. D:
So if someone could volunteer to work out the t-shirt issue, I'd love to have one for sure and I would pay for my own t-shirt. But I can't be that person right now, lol o-o

I just called ticnet and asked why they are not selling any tickets at the moment and they said that they had been told to put it on hold for now and that they hadn't been given a reason why from SJX.

I'll have to discuss with my sister and mother if we still go to Stockholm. There isn't much of a reason to go except for not wanting to waste the money I spent for the flight but if I waste it and can cancel the hotel I save some money still.
Meeting some people might be nice though but I'm not sure if it's worth the money.
I secretly hope that New Nippon still arranges a concert with UpFront but I don't really count on that due to the low Ticket Sales..

Well, this was surprising.
Like shirenu said, the fact that this happened barely one month before the event, when people should have prepared most things already is what's harsh. Europeans missing out is one thing, but it seems like some Japanese fans are settled for Stockholm either way.

I just heard the news, feel sorry for the fans there. I was actually looking forward to that event, even though I am nowhere near there and absolutely have no way to get there (I'm broke). It was just exciting to see H!P branching out and doing international events.
At least you guys seem to have a backup plan, which sounds kind of fun. maybe if you guys have yourself an event, you could all chip in and rent some electronics to showcase with a projector and a huge screen, plays some music, karaoke and whatever you guys do, then maybe you could send a message to Japan/UFA and other fans around the world just how hardcore you guys are. anyway best of luck.

I got plane tickets that can't be refunded, and got free from work.
So basically I will be in stockholm as planned either way. Regardless of how much this cancelling shit hurts, I'm with you, let's do something fun! Even without SJX and Buono! By that time it should be beautiful and great weather in Stockholm, so we shouldn't have a problem entertaining ourselves.
As for the Expo tickets. Yes, they wrote that we'll be refunded. No need to pay me. Even if they scew me over, I don't want your money. :)

I just checked the hotel booking and it says not refundable as well so I can't cancel this one either unless they are nice people who understand my situation (it's the hotel that just made a partnership with SJX before they cancelled everything).
At least the SJX ticket refund will compensate about half of the hotel costs for me.

All this I could've ignored for Buono!, and also I wouldn't have had to be on the boat alone for Buono!, but now that the expo was cancelled and nobody else from Finland is coming, I don't think I can do it. They finally announced when we'll get the money back.
Refund of Stockholm Japan Expo 2009 tickets!
We are glad to announce that the ticket refunding will start on Monday 25th of May until Monday 8th of June.
Be sure to refund your tickets as soon as possible.
The refunding is administrated through Ticnet.
The association that owns SJX has made a deal with a company group and is already starting to plan for a future event. We will be back!

Also on a small side-note I'll be in Stockholm with my sister from the 23rd-25th still. Our hotel is on this semi-island above the former SJX09 location. I have still no clue what we're going to do since I don't want to spend any money except for some food and the like. I don't really feel like meeting all those H!O people I don't know either.
So yeah, at least we get the ticket money back (except for the Ticnet fee ~60skr if I heard correctly)

We will refund the payment to your card. Please observe that you will refund the price of the tickets but not the servicea-charge.
I'm not sure if everyone has to contact them (would be easier if they just refunded everyone since almost everyone got the eticket and had to pay via credit card) but it's probably better to be safe than sorry and just do it. Or wait a few days (3~4?) to see if you get the money on your card and if not contact them.
