Well, this was surprising.

Like shirenu said, the fact that this happened barely one month before the event, when people should have prepared most things already is what's harsh. Europeans missing out is one thing, but it seems like some Japanese fans are settled for Stockholm either way.

I just heard the news, feel sorry for the fans there. I was actually looking forward to that event, even though I am nowhere near there and absolutely have no way to get there (I'm broke). It was just exciting to see H!P branching out and doing international events.

At least you guys seem to have a backup plan, which sounds kind of fun. maybe if you guys have yourself an event, you could all chip in and rent some electronics to showcase with a projector and a huge screen, plays some music, karaoke and whatever you guys do, then maybe you could send a message to Japan/UFA and other fans around the world just how hardcore you guys are. anyway best of luck.

I got plane tickets that can't be refunded, and got free from work.

So basically I will be in stockholm as planned either way. Regardless of how much this cancelling shit hurts, I'm with you, let's do something fun! Even without SJX and Buono! By that time it should be beautiful and great weather in Stockholm, so we shouldn't have a problem entertaining ourselves.

As for the Expo tickets. Yes, they wrote that we'll be refunded. No need to pay me. Even if they scew me over, I don't want your money.

I just checked the hotel booking and it says not refundable as well so I can't cancel this one either unless they are nice people who understand my situation (it's the hotel that just made a partnership with SJX before they cancelled everything).
At least the SJX ticket refund will compensate about half of the hotel costs for me.

shit sucks... but i have an idea, keep the JPHiP WORLD TOUR IN SWEDEN... and just by chance if you want to burn something related to the expo then burn one in my name

K I'm sorry guys, I don't think I'll be going. D: It's just too many travel hours alone (the boat being the worst) and too much money spent at a time when I should be focusing on term papers/Master's thesis. All this I could've ignored for Buono!, and also I wouldn't have had to be on the boat alone for Buono!, but now that the expo was cancelled and nobody else from Finland is coming, I don't think I can do it. Sorry it all had to come down to this. :/
