Apparently 9th gen are currently at the hair salon, and when Ai found out she asked for pictures. The manager then sent her the above. XD
Also, I quote Ai who quoted Riho: "Seems like quite a bit was cut".
We just have to wait for the aftermath now. O_O
Also, on the bayfm radio appearance with Ai, Aika and Riho, we find out that the 9th gen kids very smartly got the numbers of ALL the senpai members. Apparently it never occurred to Ai and Aika to do so when they first joined. :lol: I'll need to listen again to report back with a better summary. :D

Riho was diagnosed on 7/28 with right lower back neuralgia and has been staying at home to rest. Based on a recent physical examination and medical consultation she has been cleared to return back to duty. Her solo photobook handshake event on 8/27 at the Fukuya book store in Shinjuku is now back on. Also, she will be participating in Ai-chan’s graduation concert tour and their play Ribbon inochi no audition.

She says the funny thing about this story was that she prepped a bag with all those items (IC card, wallet, etc) so she wouldn’t forget anything when she left the house. She did not take into account, however, forgetting the entire bag.

Summary. Kinda.
- When she had her injury and couldn't dance (2011) for over a month, was when she decided to work hard on singing too as she would need to be able to do something else.
- When Aichan graduated, Riho started to feel stronger and stronger that she has to get better so she could carry Morning Musume.
- The staff feel very relaxed with her, as despite being young and there being a lot of young members in Morning Musume right now, Riho is very reliable even when doing solo interviews.
- Riho gets told a lot that her mental age is 43 years old.
- About Reina's graduation, she says that she of course feels insecure but because Morning Musume always keeps changing, everyone is determined to fill hole in the group after Reina's left. Riho has vocal training planned for this.
- Her goal for this year, too, is NHK Kouhaku.
- She says she knows/thinks that the fans surely takes pride in being Morning Musume fans, and for this and to be able to be told "See that's My Morning Musume!" she want to work hard and make the group one of those that create history worthy to put down in the history textbooks. She wants to become an old lady who's able to brag to her grandchildren about having been a member of the group.

This is just Rihoriho’s way of showing kindness. Once at another handshake event, I was behind this super desperate guy who was asking her about how many concerts he should attend on this tour. Rihoriho just said “don’t worry about it too much.” In other words… what I’m trying to say is: Rihoriho is an angel.
I approved of this. XD I never oshihen until my last oshi graduates (Ai), and in any case it took me 6 months after Ai graduated to be determined to oshi Riho for the rest of her MM career. Actually, when I entered junior high, I thought that an enjoyable student life was waiting for me (laughs). I think it became a work-centred lifestyle… But, when I’m at my wit’s end with that work, since I get soothing letters from my friends at school which give me encouragement, I’m grateful. In these three years in junior high, something that holds a lot of memories for me was getting to release a solo photo book every year. They’ve become like albums of my high school life, and it’s interesting getting to understand how my appearance and facial expressions have changed (laughs). My favourite subject is Japanese. It’s easy for me to score even though I don’t really study, since I also like kanji from the outset. On the other hand, the one I’m no good with is English, I can’t really get the grammar… I think it would be cool if Morning Musume ‘14 could talk in English, but the possibility of myself having to shoulder that role is pretty unlikely (laughs). Becoming a high school student, I want even more to finish off getting the sixth-dan in calligraphy. I’ll re-learn it from the beginning, and I’d like to get a licence and wield it myself!

- Right from the bat, Sanma comments that Riho's dress make her look like a widow who's just coming back from a funeral. Of course, Riho protests to this and they all have fun with it. ^^;
- Continuing her attack on Riho, Sanma says that Riho seems to have gotten chubbier in the past two weeks, to which Riho responds by saying "Mmmm.... Yeah... I guess..." She adds that she hasn't been overeating and even works out at home but her weight doesn't seem to be budging. Sanma explains that this happens to some 17-year-olds so Riho shouldn't be too worried about it. (The weight issue pops up one or two times more during the broadcast and hearing Riho's reactions make me think that she has definitely gotten a much better grasp on this "issue," mentally speaking.)
- During a recent concert, she accidentally kicked a lighting fixture which then fell off from the second floor/level. Sanma says fans like it when things like this happen (so long as it doesn't cause an accident) and advised Riho to do this every time from here on out. :arrow:
- Something you are thankful for (on the day of recording): It seems that one friend of hers has made plans to attend one of their concerts for the current tour. Incidentally, Uemura Akari's response to this topic is getting to see and meet with Riho, whom she greatly admires.
- A fan wrote in and described Riho as "the girl whose boobs are at least bigger than plywood." :good:
- When Asked about Riho, Uemuu (in a very fangirly tone) says that she has been super admiring Riho since the 9ki auditions. She admires and respects Riho's dancing, singing, performance level, and the way she has handled the pressure of being MM's center.
- Lasting words from a senpai: There was a period of time when she would constantly worry about her looks and performance. What saved her from this was hearing Sayumi Michishige stating in an interview that Riho is really doing her best and that she is a super hard worker.
- She was finally able to visit the house of an MM member thanks to Maa-chan's invitation. Maa-chan's mom prepared vegetable hot pot and some other healthy dishes. When Riho blogged about this, a great number of fans commented that they were moved to tears and that this little episode made them very happy. :D
