They need more songs to be on tour soo far they have two and in my opinion a tour is not coming any soon at least for a year. Even if they do start extravaganzing with their new singles, In my opinion Aya + Mikitty is not going to happen, unless they come with some really cool fast numbers. Slow numbers like Melodies are good enough to view on the Desktop.

I hope this next single will keep pushing GAM forward. They still have so much potential, especially considering Ayaya's place in Japan as a mainstay idol and they're already H!P's second most popular group by a fair margin. If they blow up maybe we'll get the quick Miki grad as well as this new album and tour they've been talking about.

I figured the title was lu lu lu and not ru ru ru. It sorta goes with a melodies theme.
Currently when it comes to H!P stuff, I have no to very little expectations from anything. That means I'll love it if it's good, and I won't give a shit if I don't like. I really just wanna see Miki looking happy more often :/

I may happen, who knows, in one of Aya's Show I downloaded recently Miki was there to sing Thaks with her. With GAM having more songs tehy could make a show, note only GAM but Miki's singles and Aya's.
As for the PV, I'd love to see it filmed in a beach, with the two of them wearing only their bathing suits and with that special kiss at the end we're all wanting to see again.

I like the DVD version better, pretty much everything about it is better. The cd only version is still nice though.
From the covers and title, I'm expecting a lounge/jazz/big band type song. Hopefully it will still be upbeat though. A swing type song would be awesome.

LU LU LU sounds really nice. I like how they mix the style of old pop songs with the new. GAM really is the new W music wise(but with new songs instead of covers) >_> Can't wait to hear a better quality rip. I think it's alot better than their previous singles. I'm really liking how 07 is starting out for H!P
FAMILY is pretty nice. It's a b-side... but at least it doesn't suck like most recent b-sides. I like the rock sound and that little riff before and after the main verses is pretty cool.
I have to say this might be the best H!P single when it comes to the music, singing, and cd covers in a while.

*edit ah I didn't realise this till I watched the encode just then but you might notice a line on the right hand side which is actually there from the encoding because of a bug in avisynth and it's resizing. I REALLY like the PV and the song. The costumes are excellent (even those funky grey dresses that I hated at first) and they both look stunning.
However, I could've done with out the sparkles they added around them because quite frankly, that looked a little bit lame. But I can deal with sparkles since everything else pretty much rocked my face off.

I finally watched the PV... I guess it's a little better than my original impression, but that really doesn't say much :lol: It's almost as boring as Nacchi's chair and Maki's ladder. The two different shots didn't fit at all. I'm pretty sure the chocolate bg was what the orignal PV was supposed to be and with dance shot. But then decided it wasn't hot enough so they added the white scene, and out the dance shots. Personally I would've preferred they got rid of the chocolate scenes completely, as they weren't really that nice, and filmed a real dance shot without pants >_> The sparkles were some of the cheapest looking effects I've ever seen XD I think they were trying to o for a White Day theme with it with the chocolate and white.
The two of them looked awesome and the no pants and hats were hot. I would've preferred aya with the headband though. The song is still really good. Miki's LU LU LU~ gives me chills...

Matsuura Aya and Fujimoto Miki tag team it up in Hello! Project's super unit, GAM. Last year, they even appeared on NHK Red and White Contest as “GAM and Morning Musume.” On March 21st, their 3rd single, “LU LU LU” releases and as GAM's activities gathers more and more attention, Kirari closes in on “Ayaya” and “Mikitty!”
What kind of song is your 3rd single “LU LU LU,” which was released the other day?
Matsuura: It's a song that matches our tension. GAM's songs have rather few happy endings. The girl is stubborn or strong... Is that our impression? Character? I don't know (laughs). But, because I think the song paints a picture of something close to our generation's romance, I can sing this song naturally without forcing myself to fit the role.
Fujimoto: For sure, I think that is right. Usually, everybody is younger than me when doing activities in Morning Musume, so there are a lot songs that are like, “Yay,” and it becomes cute and energetic, but GAM's song this time, the song fits our age. I'm happy to be able to sing it!
It's such a song about failed love and breaking up, but are there parts of the lyrics you empathize with?
Matsuura: Actually, surprisingly, I'm the type who “cries one's heart out” (laughs). I say that I can't really imagine myself crying, but when I get depressed, I can talk to people and cry... So, I know all about those parts.
Fujimoto: Yeah, I relate to it overall. Especially the “too kind” part. It's painful~.
Both of you started as a solo and you have experienced many kinds of units, but comparing with the others, how is GAM? I especially heard that you guys are really good friends in your private life?
Matsuura: We're able to be ourselves. It feels relaxed. I participated in various projects and groups, such as “Gomattou” with Mikitty, but while I'm friends with other members I have this sense of older members or rivals. However, there is nothing like that at all in GAM. Isn't it good to be natural towards each other? Something like that. But it's really relaxing and I don't have to worry about being attentive.
Singing and the unit is also natural.
Fujimoto: Yes! It's easy to do.
I'm changing topics, but what do you do on your free time?
Fujimoto: I'm an indoor type, so I play games at home, watch movies, and do some training.
Training?
Fujimoto: I bought it through a mail-order catalog, but it's a home-use Navy training machine, so while saying “Fun[a grunt],” I try my best, but it's tough.
Matsuura: I love going to healing places, so at a nail salon I get my nails done beautifully or I go to beauty salons; I just do those kinds of things. Recently, a back leg warm massage is popular, so I often go.
What is your fashion usually?
Matsuura: Mikitty is a pants person, right?
Fujimoto: I'm a pants person. Other than work, I don't often wear skirts. And I like dark colors. I'm an indoor person and I like dark colors, so it's like I'm a really dark person (laughs). When I often wear all black, I'm told not to do that, so I'm bear in mind to make an effort to wear bright colors, but I'm more calm when I'm wearing dark colors.
Matsuura: The image that everybody has of me is wearing colors like yellow or pink, but I like monotone colors. I also remake jeans by myself and I love fashion.
What is the type of guy you like?
Fujimoto: It would nice to have fun person to be with me. I'm an indoor type, so even in the house, he should have fun. Also, recently, I thought it would be nice if he would take me out somewhere.
Matsuura: Cleanliness is important. He should understand daring fashion, but the first impression is if he doesn't have a sense of cleanliness then...
Well then, lastly, a message to Boon readers.
Fujimoto: “LU LU LU” isn't like “I hate you while I like you,” but it's saying ok when it's really not and saying it's fine to break up, but you are really sad; because it's singing a song about a girl's true feelings, I hope you will understand that this is how a girl's feelings are.
Matsuura: Of course I want you to listen to GAM's songs, but I also want you to have fun even if watching just a little and I want you to be satisfied the most! Because we will be doing our best in our activities from now on, I hope you will all support us <3!
