I had started to watch play through tutorial of Catherine on youtube, but now I'm unsure whether to continue it in case I play it in the future! ; I'm so eager to watch what happens but I doubt I'd be playing it for a couple of years...

A shame, cause I want this game now, but then there's enough games coming out over the next 3 months to worry about. Gives me something to look forward to next year (a Feb release would go nicely with my birthday

I didn't notice that Catherine got released in the UK yesterday until I was looking in the game shop today, but could only see the PS3 version, so I asked over the til if they had the Xbox one- they'd already sold out on the first day Can't believe I wasn't checking up on that release date.

If FFXIII-2 hadn't released a few weeks back I would be getting this. Birthday's coming up so I may put in a few hints. But it maybe the type of game that's better off that I buy it, to avoid any potential embarrasment

I got my copy yesterday! Cleared the second stage there now. Died many times on the boss, but I was able to get a gold trophy! On normal! I can see it's very challenging already. It's just because I haven't played any game like this. Have to be mindful of all the different block techniques I've used so far. And I'm not going to strive for perfection and get the gold everytime, I'll just play it for the challenge and to progress on in the story. Poor Vincent

Completed it there this morning. Cool game, I like it a lot, both the gameplay and the core conceit of it. After all how many games do you know of nowadays tackles relationships and adultery? I will say that there are some difficulty spikes in random places, like the first couple of levels in the final stage was crazy hard but the final ones were completed on the first go. And it's also difficult to plan moves ahead when you're on a constant timer and a boss monster behind you, but other than that the game kept itself interesting and revealed it's depth more and more as it goes on that makes it fun to play. Gonna see if I can beat the Babel stages now, though I just can't get past the first one. Someday though!!

*ENDING SPOILERS*

I got the Katherine True ending, which was what I was playing for, but was still fairly dull. For what it was trying to convey, of Vincent and Katherine happy and peaceful together, the Good ending was better at doing that rather than the True ending's sudden wedding scene with little chemistry. The Catherine True ending though is by far the best ending! Was laughing all the way through.

Survived the second stage. Died several times on the final floor. On Easy. 

I think it's because I was relying on luck and not thinking ahead that I died so many times.

Need to work on my techniques on Rapunzel.

Also for my first playthrough, can't decide whether I want a Katherine ending, a Catherine ending, or somewhere in between. (Couldn't there be an option to get both?  But I guess that would be unrealistic.)

Halfway through the game.

So I'm answering the text msgs and picking choices as if I were in Vincent's place. Looks like I'm leaning towards a Katherine ending.

Guess next time I'll act like a total douche to Katherine. 

And the third time be a jerk to both girls.

Just completed the game this morning (on Easy mode  ). Spent all night, dying over a dozen times, undoing moves every other second, trying to get a perfect combo for each stage.... Slightly stressful yet satisfying once I beat the final boss, although a little bit displeased with how I finished the last stage in one try. Still need to complete all 64 levels of Rapunzel though. 

*FYI, I got the Katherine True ending. Almost thought I got a bad ending, but was relieved to find out it was only the Cathedral stage. Still feel sorry for Steven. At least I saved all the other guys from a horrifying death.

Oh, I'm preparing for the Good/True Catherine ending. Heard that if you unlock several other endings you'll get alternate photos of the one where she's in a nurse's outfit. (I think it's from Day 5.)

Why do Laura Bailey have to sound so sexy, as well as being hot irl?
