was thinking about checking them out at the wiltern in a week or so, but if theyre playing a lot of marrow stuff, i dunno. i liked withering to death, but marrow of the bone is horrible... would prefer more old school stuff

Hmmm...Diru was one of the first bands that pulled me into Jmusic (I think the first was buck-tick) and one of the few that always have something to keep me interested in them: I love how they are able to evolve into a new sound without being afraid (despising all the critics they have received about it).
The first song I heard of them was The Final and then Yokan; it was kind of funny to hear them one after the other because they sounded so different, and let's not talk about their looks but damn! they both rock in their own way.

No car, no off work/school days, no problem:
pickup your copy of their new dvd/cd set; it's the best $20 bucks that i've spent for a looong long time...(one of the downside with this band's 'limited' Japanese editions of all their release is: you can't fucking find them after they've been release less than a week!)

What a pity that this thread is kinda dead. I really hoped there could be some real discussion about the band. I've been a fan for more than 4 years and still love 'em. I think some of you can understand the obsession with this band
I'm addicted to the atmosphere they create in their songs. Their songs do not always have clear structures or rhythm patterns, so it's like trip when you listen to them. So much depth. I'll stop nerding here xD
