HUAAA~ I MISSED THIS SERIES!!!

So glad you're updating it, Kuro-san... Thank you so much!!!!

Lol took me a while to get the story back into motion
Part 2-4“Kasai speaking... Masuda and Oshima have found the kid and have requested backup. I repeat, backup at the park's pond.”
I swung the car around and flashed the lights as we drove toward the park. There was no way we could park and run into the park so I had to hop the curb and drove onto the grass. With the target in sight, I pulled up and we both ran out as the two had cornered the child with a brown hoodie on. She was throwing pebbles to the two as Nattsumii flanked to the right.
“Yoko-chan, we are here to help you.” I called out as a pebble came flying toward me.
“My mother is dead. The police caused her death.”
“The police didn't cause this...”
“She was supposed to be protected from him.”
I tilted my head as I glanced at her. “What do you mean?”
Masuda took a chance wrapping her arms around her waist and carried her to the car. Oshima and Matsubara drove off the lawn as Masuda tapped my shoulder breathing hard wiping the sweat off her forehead.
“Took you guys a while.” She commented.
“We just came from an interview.”
“What did you guys get?”
“The fact that Yoko is mentally challenged from birth assuming why it made sense to why she attacked you instead of cooperated with your investigation.” I explained as she shook her head.
“Can you explain further?”
“Let's jump in your car.” I suggested as we walked to the parking lot before driving off to the station.
Masuda was unusually quiet as I explained the situation to her, a few nods were only needed to confirm the torture of the victim. As we drove up, we expected chaos but she sat there with a glass of water in front of her as Matsubara and Oshima had filled out paperwork.
“Gomen.” She bowed to both of us.
“That's okay... Can you explain about the police protecting your mother?” I asked her as she looked down before turning her attention to Tomita sitting in his office and then turning to Oshima.
“She said... that she had something against father and the police was suppose to use it to protect her.”
“TRO?” Masuda thought out loud.
“Kasai! Try to find anything dealing with this case.” I said escorting her over to interrogation room.
“Masuda, do you want to find the guy?”
“You bet I would love to.” She smiled as Oshima followed her out.
Matsubara and I took our seats in front of her. She hid her face away from us and under the light we found a few deep bruises on her face. The girl wasn't physically deformed but personality wise the social abilities were behind the usual peer. Yoko finally brushed her ruffled black hair back and placed her head on the table.
“I MISS MY MOMMY!!!!”
“Yoko-chan, please accept our sincere apology. There isn't any one day that I regret any mistakes that do happen.”
“It isn't your fault... People don't like me. They think I'm stupid.”
“You're not stupid.” Nattsumii added.
“I am! I cannot understand the harder things. She retorted when Kasai knocked at the door.
I walked out and glanced at the sheet to my dissatisfaction. Kasai immediately called out to Masuda and Oshima making it an urgent matter. Hayashi Hiroshi became our prime suspect after failing to obey orders of a restraining order. My blood boiled reading the violations that I wanted to march out there to go on a hunt but quickly I defused my personal bomb when I saw Yoko and the progress with Matsubara.
“Masuda and Oshima will take care of it from here.” I said as we confirmed to each other to keep her at the station for the time being.
