Aya yesterday at a press conference for a charity show that will be airing on Nippon TV and to be hosted by Arashi, it's called "TV Saves the Earth",

she'll be appearing on it, think the air date for it is August 24th.

Episode one of Hanzawa Naoki has finally been subbed and you know where to get it, Aya wasn't in it as much as we hoped even though it was over 90 minutes.

First episode had a rating of 19.4% which made it the #2 drama for the week but this week's show toppled the first episode with a 21.8% rating.

It deserves it! In my opinion it's the best drama from all of summer lineup.

Episode 2 of Hanzawa Naoki has now been subbed, warning though if you're an Aya fan she's hardly in it at all for some strange reason,

but if you're a drama fan you'll really like the episode.

Just learned about this today as this poster was just released for Aya's next movie that's coming out in January, Bushi no Kondate or "A Tale of Samurai Cooking - A True Love Story". Filming just wrapped up at the end of June, a short synopsis of it, no trailer is out for it yet:
Bushi no Kondate tells the story of Kengo Kora who will one day inherit the fortunes of the Funaki family. His family is well-known and well-respected in the art of cooking. He met Oharu (Aya Ueto) who is a talented cook and with her help, he was able to learn what it takes to prepare delicious and sumptuous food.
